1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Litecoin as a 17 year old on: March 31, 2024, 10:22:18 PM
I think returning to parents is safer than anyone out there, there will be no doubts in everything,
Or don't you wait until your age reaches the withdrawal limit, because looking for safety in crypto is an obligation in my opinion, to protect our assets in the future
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good time to buy Aptos on: March 31, 2024, 10:16:39 PM
Anything can happen, everyone can speculate on this, but in my opinion, it still takes a long time to reach 100$, not in the near future, if you have patience, there is nothing wrong if you invest in APTOS.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Farming and it importance to the economy on: March 30, 2024, 09:31:57 PM
Is farming something we MUST have?

farming is not an easy thing as we can see, there is a lot to learn before farming, and maybe there will be many farmers if they have land but currently agricultural land is outnumbered by buildings, so agricultural land is getting narrower,
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt Management. on: March 30, 2024, 09:13:57 PM
This could all be avoided if we just never had debt in the first place

let's face it many people get debts for things they don't really need they just want to buy it but they cant afford it if they were to pay it as of the moment which is something we should really avoid doing

we should already save money, cut on expenses and make budgets before we even get into debts

This is what often happens in the community, because they prioritize their lifestyle, they are willing to do this to be called socialite, without thinking long about the effects it will have in the future,
The trend is the word for this kind of lifestyle in my country, life is difficult, elite style
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Ethereum's biggest competitor? on: March 28, 2024, 08:08:49 AM
I'm not even 100% sure it will happen if Solv can become a competitor to ETH before competing with ETH, it should surpass SOL first before it can say it will become a competitor to ETH, now there are many new coins that say they will replace the position of the top coin after BTC, I don't know what wind could make them say that with the age of a project that has just grown like a sprout
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you holding any gaming based altcoins? on: March 28, 2024, 08:02:38 AM
I once had a basic game coin and I played the game, the game was on a polygon network, I forgot the name of the game, because the game wasn't interesting enough I left it and plus the value of the coin didn't match the time I had available to play the game, so why should I continue? his.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Traders, the Halving is Coming, Let's Talk Strategy (and Events) on: March 26, 2024, 01:21:29 PM
I don't have enough knowledge to understand the halving event, because I just understood and studied BTC, so far I never had BTC, only altcoins, after I had BTC I understood that it was more profitable than altcoins, let alone memes,
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~~~When did you first heard about bitcoin 2024 Halving edition~~ on: March 26, 2024, 01:17:00 PM
I entered the world of crypto at the end of 2015, from the beginning I knew about crypto until 2021 I didn't know when and what halving was, but in 2024 I just learned the meaning of halving and the predictions that it would happen,
maybe for this session I missed the opportunity, to have a lot of BTC in my wallet, if I have a long life in the next halving session I will be more active and deeper in learning about bitcoin,
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a place called Africa really Exist in the world Economy on: March 24, 2024, 10:47:42 PM
In the continent of Africa the worse know form of corruption that has ever been discovered is prevalent in that continent. Leaders steal the resources of their own country to enrich themselves and their actions says, " to hell with the masses". Corruption is so engraved in the continent of Africa that just like Esua in the holy book they have sold their birth rights - their gold, silver, uranium, diamonds, iron ore, coal, timber, and others for Mammon money. Their economy is so destroyed by their leaders that often times you feel that the old leaders have to be phased-out for new leadership. Some countries in Africa have leaders ruling them since the 70's without any progress or change. Paul Biya, the Cameroon president rules his country from France and he has been in power for over a decade. And they are ready to relinquish power to no one unless their children and that is when they are dead. We can say a whole lot about Africa but let it be known that Africa underdeveloped Africa, their economies, their people, their resources and everything.

their government is very bad if that is the case, even though their country is rich, it is really sad whether it will continue, until the next government, if so over time Africa will really be lost from search
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: March 24, 2024, 10:40:59 PM
In my opinion, insurance is very important, but the current level of trust in insurance in my country is very bad, there are several insurers who have embezzled their customers' funds until now they have not been paid, so many of our citizens are better off saving funds in my bank by depositing their money rather than taking insurance. ,
but luckily every company has health and old age insurance, so at least for my health and old age I have it from the company where I work
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new projects are now available for users for testing on: March 23, 2024, 10:31:22 PM
There's been some profitable airdrops lately if you pick the right ones and airdrops can be a great way to snag some free crypto, but remember, there's usually a catch.  Usually, there is a requirement to complete tasks, hold a certain amount of another coin, or participate in a new platform.  Can't just jump in blindly though or you'll waste time chasing hype. Especially with airdrops that need capital - do your homework so you don't get burned.  There are always bad actors looking to take advantage.

The principle of working on an airdrop is that you shouldn't choose a pick, because we don't know which one will give us big profits just by working a little,
However, currently many airdrops use capital that is not 100% free like before, so we have to be more selective in choosing because we have funds to spend.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Only In a Coin that Increase in Value in this Bull Run. on: March 23, 2024, 10:20:35 PM
No one will actually be interested in throwing their money in a project that is not growing but in bull season every project will show sign of green irrespective of whether it's good, team behind is working on its development, use case that is when we have to use our wisdom to narrow down the available options and pick the right one from the existing group.

That's right, if memecoin is a coin that just throws money away and suffers losses if you don't choose the right meme, there are some people who tend to get into meme coins and they get instant profits, whether they really followed the coin from the start of the project list or just luck, so everyone has their own luck, but in my opinion it is better to invest in top coins than in meme coins
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: in future are you hoping to see some countries in Africa legalis bitcoin. on: March 22, 2024, 09:47:11 PM
bitcoin is a future digital currency, i strongly believes that before BTC celebrate 50 years in existence at least one or two African countries is going to legalis it. because block chain network is expanding every day by day. and most of the countries in Africa have the knowledge BTC how it works.
Bitcoin is already legalized in some Africa countries. I don't know the country that you are from, but my country has legalized the used of cryptocurrency, and Nigeria has the highest number of crypto daily users and adopters.

Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco, Ghana and Kenya and many more countries in Africa that bitcoin is legalized. It is not compulsory that the government must use it as a legal tender before, bitcoin can be used or is legal.

It is truly extraordinary that your country has accepted BTC in all respects and legalized it, because many countries hope for the legality of BTC itself, but it would be better if BTC was not used as the main means of payment because wherever fiat is the typical currency of a country, it would be very unfortunate if must be secondary in every financial transaction
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the view of an average citizen About crypto currencies on: March 22, 2024, 09:43:03 PM
Most people who currently knew Bitcoin were the ones stumbled it somewhere because it's getting pump up that's why there's a lot of hype everywhere and that includes scammers creating ads on their fake website. So anyway, I think some people in my area knew already about the Bitcoin but doesn't really care much while the rest are excited about their investment to grow. There are also some who was misinformed or didn't know the whole truth about how Bitcoin works because they were scammed one time in the past but didn't bother to do some research that's why they believe that it's still part of the scam tactics whenever they hear about Bitcoin.

This is what often happens among the public, lack of information about Bitcoin and continuing to have opinions about Bitcoin, so that sometimes and even makes Bitcoin look scary with the risk of losing it,
However, if we are invest in the right coin, the risk of losing is very small, even if that happens, Bitcoin is already dead from its center
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day i have lost my 100 bitcoins on: March 20, 2024, 09:39:01 PM
I remembered that I had a Bitcoin wallet not long ago and I tried to find my USB key, without success.

Where have you been living all this while that you just remembered you've 100 Bitcoin... In a cave?

very sad 100 btc just disappeared, aware of ownership but think btc has no value at all,
At least have a seed reserve other than BTC, such as an active wallet that can be used on a cellphone or PC to store the BTC
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: March 20, 2024, 09:34:56 PM
I've seen this question or been asked about it so many times since Bitcoin drops down after hitting it's ATH.
Is the dip or price drop our last chance to buy it at a low price?
For me there would always be a price correction whenever the price jumps high, most of us are expecting it to go back up again and climb higher, but we don't know when would that start.

and the reality is that the price increase will occur after the correction, although it won't immediately increase rapidly, but the possibility of an increase is definitely there, so whenever you buy an btc you will definitely get a profit later, you just need to be patient if you experience a decline in the price from when you initially bought BTC.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do we expect the altcoin season or has it already started? on: March 16, 2024, 09:20:46 PM
It is possible that we will see a season of rises in the altcoins market because the crazy rises of Bitcoin have not yet ended, or because some people think that the price can rise more, so there is still betting on Bitcoin, but if we witness a week or two of stability, the prices of altcoins will often increase before price corrections occur. It takes us back to levels below $54,000.

is 54k the lowest limit during the halving, it would be very bad if it had to go back to 54k, there would be drama in the altcoin rise if btc reached 54k$ again like before, where altcoin movements are not as smooth as btc
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 16, 2024, 09:17:05 PM
If you’re a dedicated crypto guy then you should always be buying, when you’re able to. Now is still a great time to add to your holdings. We are not even at the Bitcoin halving yet & traditionally the price of Bitcoin & most good altcoins rise exponentially after the halving so keep buying whilst you can get cheaper coins.

I agree, by buying altcoins regularly it will be better even though the BTC price has reached a new ATH, but for altcoins themselves, there are still not many that have experienced an increase, only certain coins have increased, there are many potential coins that have been overlooked because they don't have names like the top ones. 5
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Years ago people laughed at me bcz of THIS on: March 15, 2024, 10:07:09 PM

Funny thing is,  those who are laughing at me can't even see the price of Bitcoin in March 2020.
here is proof:

Sorry, can you provide a detailed picture of when BTC was priced at 3K like you said because I was looking for news in 2020, BTC never reached the price of 3K like you said, I'm not a reliable market observer, but if BTC reaches 3K, the community will definitely busy buying in large quantities to fill the load,
You are indeed a little crazy in expressing your opinion (sorry, really sorry)
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: March 13, 2024, 02:14:02 PM
I have placed a price of 80k$ to release my btc because at that price I have already made a decent profit, if the halving reaches 100k$ that means it is not my fortune, crypto predictions are sometimes out of control if the halving is less than expected then funds will be held until the session furthermore Grin
