Why are you trying to connect to that pool??? You can get better payouts at Hashnest...
BTW, do you know how can I Overclock the Antminer s5 and any of the other ones?
please share some links!
You can overclock in the configuration settings. Go to ---> Miner configuration ----> Advanced ----> from the drop down menu choose how much you want to overclock and click save and apply. BTW, I tried over cloaking to 450 it just took the Hash Rate down to half. Ill suggest not to increase it too much and it will make your machine live less. Kind Regards,

Won't that be your ambition as an organization.
Microsoft: Internet Explorer Installed on every windows copy, BOOM, Netscape wiped out.

Yes here it's very obvious that everyone will choose bitcoin, by here I mean this forum. Go to the public and the results will shock you. As much as I am with peer to peer transactions and as much as I am with decentralization, the truth of the matter, as a customer I will go with a bank because I feel their is something solid behind it.
I know it's hard to accept but I studied business and I understand consumer behavior, if people aren't educated about decentralization, then they will go with Citibank or any other bank in that case.
Need I remind you guys those guys have the resources to promote such currencies, Other than ourselves who will pay the billions to educate and promote Bitcoin for us?
Guys this is nothing less than a hostile takeover of the decentralized coin concept. An elimination attempt if I may.
Don't believe me, ask a complete stranger who they would go with if those 2 coins were available.
That's just my humble opinion, this is what organizations do.
This product/service is successful, get me VP of marketing/finance/PR and tell me what do we need to do to squash these cockroaches.

I guess because the 75% of the public don't know this, therefore for them it's just a virtual currency. THey don't want to know about the technicalities, they just want to touch the surface, we're using Cryptocurreny.
Before I got into crypto currency I heard about it, I knew nothing about decentralization until I dug in because I wanted to mine it.
Im assuming your average consumer is the same, he just wants the latest, he doesnt care if its centralized or not. Me and you do, sure, cause we are councious.
However, your average joe, what do you think he'll trust in Cryptocurrencies, an established bank or .....

Me and you know that, I just hope the other 75% figure it out. Only 25% of the people know that the initiative of Bitcoin is to decentralize it and have heard of Bitcoin.
They have a huge advantage, oh well,
Time will tell I guess, but if they do pull it off, it's one hell of a concern.

@Kazimir
I can't agree more, they want control. They call their Crypcoin Citicoin and the ledgers they want to control.
I just hope that people grasp the concept of decentralization and not fall prey to these means.

I've been doing some bitcoin collections from some sites to see how they work. Suprizingly, I got a double payment in one of my transactions Notice one says pending the other has been verified. The pending one is the one that was mistakenly sent. I don't think it was sent by mistake, somehow I just got doubled payed. I got this through automated payments from a site that provides bitcoins for clicking ads, I don't think the mistake was from their system. Any insights? Oh yeah, I came accross this, but I don't understand the exact technical details https://bitcoin.org/en/alert/2015-07-04-spv-miningThanks,

Hi Guys,
I'm newbie here so I'll get right down to the question.
I just bought an Antminer S5 and waiting for it to arrive. I have no idea how mining works so I thought I'd ask the experts.
I just want a simple answer though I know many factors are involved,
configuring my Antminer s5 with the typical settings and running it 24/7
How many Bitcoins can I generate per day as a rough estimate for June 2015?
is it anywhere from 0.02 - 0.03?
I have no idea so if any one has any idea I kindly ask for your advice.
Thanks in advance guys,
Dee
