1  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price FLASH CRASH! on: August 19, 2015, 12:27:53 AM
All the other Crypto Currency's are being murdered.
http://coinmarketcap.com/#USD      WTF is going on???

That's just because BTC had a flash crash.  It spooked all other currency's.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price FLASH CRASH! on: August 19, 2015, 12:21:33 AM
If you had a Bitfinex account and a Coinbase account, you couldve made some easy money.  Coinbase went under $200 for a split second but Bitfinex stayed under $200 for 10 minutes, hitting $162.

The spread was huge for those 5 minutes  Shocked

I wish the Winklevoss twins would make a statement about this to calm stuff down.   Undecided
Yes of course, The Winkies.... explain why them making a statement would calm this down.

I have more faith in them then anyone with Bitcoin.  They have over $1 billion in BTC and worked their asses off in getting their Gemini through U.S. regulations to launch.  They literally are putting everything behind BTC.  Most of these other experts don't have much skin in the game.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price FLASH CRASH! on: August 19, 2015, 12:05:05 AM
Ok big buyers coming in and the price is literally skyrocketing back up.  14,000 BTC exchanged on Bitfiniex in the last 5 minutes to stabilize price.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price FLASH CRASH! on: August 19, 2015, 12:02:13 AM
If big buyers come in to stabilize the price to around $250, this could've been an over-reaction.  But idk.  I lost faith.

Yeah, it just hit $162.  I lost all faith in Bitcoin.  Glad I only invest 2 BTC since I first started researching this.  I lost all faith in this "decentralized" currency when TWO GUYS just wrecked havoc and faith in this currency.

I doubt Bitcoin will ever recover as a currency after this.

Blockchain is where you have to invest.  Not BTC  Cry
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price about to explode..at 296.74 now.... on: July 28, 2015, 07:16:06 PM
38.2% Fib retracement is showing to be major resistance but the money flow is still building.  This thing should pop.  Definitely taking longer than I thought though  lol
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CNBC anchors are so oblivious to Bitcoin....LOL on: July 28, 2015, 04:46:18 PM
That Youtube video is hilarious!  But that one guy got it exactly right.  Wow....I want to talk to him about Bitcoin today and see what he says lol
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / CNBC anchors are so oblivious to Bitcoin....LOL on: July 28, 2015, 04:37:22 PM
This morning, CNBC reported the Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATMs and the anchors mocked it and said how is Bitcoin still relevant when it's just a scam and ponzi scheme.  They said this Mike Tyson deal was obviously a scam to get more people to waste money in Bitcoin.

They kept referring to "bitcoin" as if it was one entity and why would "they" invest in Mike Tyson as a spokesperson.

It was so laughable.

And these anchors are suppose to help us with investment decisions?   Huh
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does BTCJam recover your loses in any way? on: July 28, 2015, 04:22:16 PM
I just started with BTCJam and I've made four loans but only to people that have a history of previous loans.  One guy made a payment 3 weeks early which was a surprise.

I would suggest making about 10 small loans to lower your risk.

Also, re-invest your interest payments to further lower your risk.
12  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin Price about to explode..at 296.74 now.... on: July 28, 2015, 04:16:16 PM
The price has been boucing off the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement line of 297.50 the entire morning with building money flow and OBV.  Watch for it to explode in the next hour or so..... Cool
13  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Need help with getting a pool for a renting a mining rig.... on: July 20, 2015, 06:38:49 PM
This is so frustrating. Can't find any info through Google and apparently no one in this forum knows how to get a pool.  How is this so hard?  I don't understand why the mining rental site doesn't have instructions on how to get a pool and a pool address.   Huh
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Need help with getting a pool for a renting a mining rig.... on: July 20, 2015, 05:11:05 PM
I am new to mining and found a mining rig rental site.  But I must insert 2 or 3 pools.  The pool sites and the rental rig site do a horrible job at explaining what a pool is and how to get one.  Can someone help me?

Do I have to have my own pool address or can I just copy the one they have in their tutorial?
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teenagers and bitcoin on: July 20, 2015, 10:20:21 AM
As teens use Bitcoin more in the future to buy games, services, etc (since they dont need a credit card or a bank), when it comes time for them to open up a checking account, they will laugh at that idea.

"I have to pay you a monthly service fee to store my money?  "I have to wait how many days to transfer money?"  "An overdraft fee is $35???"  "No thanks.  I'll just keep using Bitcoin."

Remember when the idea of not owning a CD or album was ridiculous?  Paying for a download was a crazy idea.  Now, we are paying for streaming services where we RENT music and never OWN it.

Watch what teenagers flock to and invest in it.  Bitcoin will probably catch on with them soon.
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Coinbase is down. Makes me nervous...... on: July 13, 2015, 11:38:04 AM
I just started to get into the bitcoin market and I'm using Coinbase.  But it has been down for about an hour now.  The entire site won't even show up.  Should I be concerned about my money??
17  Economy / Micro Earnings / Legit Faucets that can run in the background..... on: July 07, 2015, 02:31:44 AM
I'm new to this forum and Bitcoins.  Just wondering if there are any legit faucet sites that can run in the background or with open pages.  I spend a lot of time online but don't want to play games or anything.  Just cuirous.  Thanks!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Index] Coinoindex.com asset tied to top 20 altcoins by capitalization on: July 07, 2015, 01:07:32 AM
Who regulates Poloniex?  Where are they located?  There isn't much information on their site.  Seems odd.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: July 07, 2015, 12:50:25 AM
Why would anyone pay for porn?  There are tons of free porn sites online LOL
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: July 07, 2015, 12:43:25 AM
I bet there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of early Bitcoins that were forgotten but early adopters.  I read a story of some guy buying some years ago and just happened to read a story about Bitcoins.  He couldn't even remember where he had some but found the site and had over $200,000 in Bitcoins.  I bet there are a lot of people like this that forgot they had Bitcoins from the beginning.
