Yo wtf, I got the exact same bet as this lol. Real Madrid to win + BTTS on Sevilla Villareal  Grin
Wait, maybe they've fixed it because earlier today, I saw these two users already above us with six points.

Now i'm thinking we should also get our points soon enough, assuming those two also got their point through these midweek matches.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: September 24, 2025, 09:32:35 AM
time to bet for Bettor D'or then
I thought it was possible to get an early sixth point with this midweek round from LaLiga, but after hitting this ticket yesterday, it's probably included for the fifth point from the previous weekend.

On the bright side, the matches yesterday were a bit easier to predict, so I still managed to get a small profit within two attempts.

Currently, going back to some dota 2 actions. I've bet for Virtus.Pro against Rift. This is for Fissure Playground Open Qualifiers 1 for EEU region.
Good luck to this new roster.
It looks like they lost that one, and i'm surprised they're keeping the old roster after announcing a new roster with Fly and Abed.

I was hopeful, too, and thought MongolZ would finish in overtime after their 9-0 run. They couldn't concentrate again and lost. They had a few good pushes in CT, and if they'd won those rounds, MongolZ would have won the nuke in overtime. So, it was clear that MongolZ had a concentration problem in this tournament, and they'd actually solved it. I think the crowds in tournaments don't have that problem in tournaments, so I think the enthusiasm of the crowd in this final impressed MongolZ.
Their T side was just nowhere to be found, and failing to win the first half while on the CT side was already a bad sign.

On the other hand, it's nice to see Furia break through the top 5, as it's been a while since we've seen an NA team close the gap against other tier one teams.

That final question got me to spend more time than the rest of the questions combined, but at least they're not as difficult as the two for one questions.

It was a nice match, ralle14. Sorry you had to lose in the end. Piastri leaving the building on Lap 1 was out of the blue!
It was a fun match. Unfortunately, someone has to lose this time, and our team was at the short end of the stick. GG  Grin
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: September 22, 2025, 02:39:03 PM
My predictions for the Big 5 this week started great, but I made too many mistakes after the first four questions, so I am currently sitting with an 8/19 score.  Lips sealed

I had no idea the glitch was possible. I remember the same thing happened with the EPL rounds in the previous season. Even though the UI allows you to edit your prediction after the game ends, it still doesn't go through after saving.

^^
Hated Panthers winning against the Falcons in the early games since I had them in the pool too.
They got humbled by Carolina 30-0 the last I looked at the scores before the late afternoon games started.
I also thought the Panthers were bad, but the Falcons decided to one-up them by getting rolled and finished the match with zero points.

The matches overall were like a trap, as the Bears managed to beat the Cowboys and then the Browns with the comeback against the Packers.

With all the upsets going on, I started assuming the Giants' spread could also hit, and unfortunately, they still proceeded to shit the bed.  Tongue

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: September 22, 2025, 10:13:25 AM
I think nothing happened with Team Falcons and I don't remember any team getting banned for doing something like this. Valve knows what happened because they turned off the x ray on the arena but they should at least fine the players so they understand that this is cheating and very bad one
I also can't recall anyone or a whole team getting banned because of this issue, but i've heard this was an issue a long time ago and only got brought up again after Team Falcons did it.

And a disappointing loss for mongolz just after they reached #1 in valve rankings  Angry
I also thought they're going to lose after dropping their map pick Overpass, but they immediately flipped like a switch into Dust 2 to close out the series.

On the side of League, the LPL wrapped up the Split 3 playoffs with BLG winning 3-2 against TES, while in the LCK, Gen.G also needed a fifth map to take care of T1 to set a rematch against KT Rolster on Saturday.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 22, 2025, 09:34:16 AM
The first map was won by Furia. I was quite late on the game already. Good luck to this bet of yours and hopefully that The Mongolz will be able to make this grand finals. Both teams already have secured some good cash prize win or lose. But of course it's going to be a better amount if it's the first place and that's $200k, and $100k for the 2nd place.
They went the distance after stealing each others map picks, but unfortunately, the MongolZ didn't have enough fuel left in the tank when it got to the fifth map. They had a decent start by winning the pistol and conversion round, and then somehow lost the gun round. Once Furia got their first round, it was like a momentum swing, and they ran away with it. After that 7-5 first half, it only got worse heading into the second half, as they couldn't hold the post plants and continued to force buy throughout the remaining rounds.

Furia won an S-tier tournament for the first time in years, and that was against MongolZ. Furia, with its international roster, won their first major tournament with this new team. They played a total of five maps, and Mongolz didn't win easily. Mongolz made a strong comeback on the Nuke map, going 9-0, forcing the match into overtime, before losing in overtime. The screams and voices of the Mongol female audience exhausted everyone.
I had my hopes up after they forced OT while being down 12-3 on Nuke, but the script was the same as the first map, with Furia edging them out again.

This is what I got for the early matches. I recall parlaying the big favorites in the previous seasons, and maybe it's worth a shot to run it back.  Wink

Also, some of the handicaps this week is tough to call. It's tempting to pick the underdogs, as they're above the key numbers (+3.5 or +7.5), but i'm scared that they'll get decimated.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering casino bonus on: September 21, 2025, 03:24:29 PM
Well said. No wonder why you always skip them lol. How much is the wager requirement on those bonuses anyway? If it 30x or more then a lot can relate to that. Though I think apart from luck, we also need some skills here like managing our bankroll very well. It is still fine or possible to play freely, since they are only just a bonus.
The ones I took back then had at least 40x, and I only tried it out because the others were having success with their deposit bonuses. The smaller rollovers weren't a thing back then, so you had to stick it and hope a big multiplier lands on your way or skip the bonus entirely.

Using a bit of bankroll management should be a given, but even then, it's not going to affect your run as much when luck isn't there to begin with.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to avoid cashing out your game on: September 21, 2025, 01:59:45 PM
I sometimes do the same thing and press the cash out button at the worst time possible, costing me a winning bet. You mentioned being angry, and that's already one issue that needs fixing because you can't let your emotions take over during these losing situations.

As much as possible, don't write them off that easily, and learn to endure those bad moments so you don't overreact whenever your teams start losing.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: September 21, 2025, 01:12:51 PM
Looking forward to see how Mongolz will come back after that complete reckoning they had in the grand finals around a month ago.
So it will be good to see how they handle themselves now in this new tournament. Sounds like they are in the play-offs at this time so they must of adjusted from that major loss and have bounced back nicely.
It'll be Furia and the MongolZ for the finals, and i'm glad Team Falcons didn't go through because it was disgusting how they're relying on the crowd for information during their series against Furia.

There are still three to go and it's exciting that this organization is going to have a come back in dota 2. It's been a while since we've seen them participate tournaments with a solid line up, they've participated on 2024-2025 but they didn't get the blend they need.
I just saw the announcement for their whole roster, and it's mostly the former Secret players (Crystallis, Midone, Boom, yamich) with Seleri. I don't know how far they'll go, but I think their firepower should be enough to qualify in one of the bigger tournaments.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 21, 2025, 12:28:02 PM
I feel bad about them but it feels good to see that the team that beat Astralis, Furia is now facing The Mongolz is the grand finals. I can't think yet of which I'll go, are you going to bet on the grand finals? I'm thinking of Furia but I'll wait of what do you think about this match though.
I like both teams, but I have to go with the MongolZ because they always love to take their chances even with a man disadvantage.

It's a very even series, as I still think Furia got the clutch factor with Molodoy while MongolZ are more firepower heavy with all of their players having the potential to step up.

They are both world class all time great players just the problem with NA teams in their teamwork especially can be consistency, they thrive on momentum but the very best teams can course correct under stress.
I agree, it's like they're on a cycle with how this keeps on repeating.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 14000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: September 21, 2025, 11:36:42 AM
Meanwhile, Roma is up a goal, so we're still very much level ralle14... guess we need to wait for City/Arsenal to decide things between us huh.
True, we're likely going the distance since I could get another point from the second H2H question.

Even if I lose here, I must say this is one of the more enjoyable rounds i've played so far, like it's tennis with the back and forth action.  Cheesy
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: September 20, 2025, 06:01:58 PM
So what did you pair Liverpool with? They are up 2-0 half time but Everton probably wouldnt just sit there and let them score again on the 2nd half
I couldn't find another match that i'm confident in, so I tried these two for one markets (BTTS and over 2.5) for 2.30 with the price boost.  Grin

I'm relieved that it worked out somehow, and Liverpool suddenly slowed down after leading 2-0 to allow Everton to score in the second half to cash the bet and claim my fifth point.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: September 20, 2025, 12:33:57 PM
In starseries there is Navi vs NIP today for spot in tomorrows finals where as fissure has more stacked teams mongolz vs liquid and falcons vs furia for tomorrow finals
It's so out of place to see NaVi in that tournament, but it's a good opportunity for them to recover their form after losing too many games recently.

For the FPG2, i'm hoping we get the MongolZ and Team Falcons in the final since I think the MongolZ is the only team capable of stopping Team Falcons tomorrow.

Valorant champions is happening as well with group matches this weekend, all in all a great weekend for esports 😅
There's also the LoL playoffs resuming earlier with HLE sweeping KT in the LCK region to secure a spot in the grand final, while in the LPL, TES managed to set up a rematch against BLG after beating AL in the lower final.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Was gambling a reason for you to discover Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies? on: September 20, 2025, 12:09:12 PM
After looking back to where I started, it's an easy "No" vote for me. I only started using Bitcoin back then because I thought I could earn enough with the help of faucets, and at the same time, found a website where I could exchange those Bitcoins for gift cards.

Gambling was barely on my mind at the time, and I only got into it after I joined this forum and kept seeing most of the users promoting casinos through signatures.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: September 20, 2025, 11:37:42 AM
Seems that professional DOTA players careers are very much different than those of CounterStrike.
The lifecycle of those who have made a profession out of playing CS last atleast a decade playing then they either move on being a coach or start a desired career from their chosen educational background.
From my perspective, it's not that different, but in Dota I guess winning a good chunk of the TI prize pool makes it easier for players to step down without hesitation, unlike in CS, where the prizepool isn't top-heavy. Also, it's barely worth playing in the lower scenes of Dota now that the tier two scene barely exists after the removal of the DPC.

I am not certain but is the DOTA2 sect of Team Falcons funded just like their CounterStrike team by Saudi investors?
That's probably the case because they're able to bring in solid players like skiter, Cr1t, and even their coach Aui_2000, who have a lot of experience in the bigger stages.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 20, 2025, 09:06:00 AM
Team Falcons won while Aurora lost against Team Liquid. Even my other team that I should bet for which is the G2 Esports is also out already.
That win from Team Liquid was so unexpected, and it was all because a couple of their players suddenly had a lifegame, Twistz going 27-11 on that first map, and then NAF dropping 22-9 on the second map while one of their players ended with only 3 kills.

This is my bad, I've lost this bet. Furia has won 2 maps consecutively. Astralis is now out of the fissure playground while Furia moves against Team Falcons.
The second map was close, but Astralis threw so many map points and even failed in OT once they were up 15-13.
