actually i want to know there is a possibility have to hack this supper e-money, because somebody hack it will be a huge effect for the economy.
pls give your valuable opinion. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

in my opinion bitcoin is safe. it's secure for transaction. your wallet is be protected by number secury that you save. I think bitcoin is unhackable.
but it's still on the internet dude. i've lost my sr member id including the email and the blockchain(in 2016). but now i've recovered that(several month ago), and someone has loan using my acc and drain my blockchain. i don't know these such things can happen, sometimes i just posting while playing dota's in the internet cafe or even gamble too. the lesson i learned is: i haven't open my acc while using none of my internet connection, neither public wifi nor internet cafe
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as savings, emergency needs possible? on: April 19, 2018, 11:34:44 PM
Not only that bitcoin is an investment, it serve as our savings and we can use it as there is an emergency needs  , so bitcoin had many multiple functions and uses so that is why we can also rely on bitcoin.

I don't think so, bitcoin is very good as an investment but for savings emergency needs is very risk because the price of bitcoin is really unstable, when we need money but the market is down, we will lose our capital if we sell bitcoin when the price decrease, no one can guarantee bitcoin will always in the high value, its better to saving in fiat at bank for emergency money.
i have same mind. saving is more like keeping the value of something we save. in case the value of bitcoin is always fluctuating, this is not save for me. it is an investment, sometimes when we save money in form of bitcoin. the value will increase, but sometimes will decrease too. and no one can guarantee that the price will increase or maybe stable

If ideas must be developed, if competition is to be encouraged, then capitalism
should be encouraged.Merit is the way to develop a society competitively. If socialism
is implemented, a lot of talents would definitely die down knowing that you are not expected
or encouraged to solely depend on personal efforts to survive.Naturally, a lot of citizens
would rest on their oars.Hence, capitalism harnesses the talents in everyone and gives the
opportunity to appreciate your good efforts after all.

True. In a socialistic frame. No matter how hard you work, you will not get richer. No matter how talented you are you will not move foreward. No matter how lucky you are, you won't get ahead. So you will tend to be lazy like everyone else. Socialism is shared wealth, whereby everyone will pull in their funds and divide it equally. But what if i don't have funds to give? Socialism will work well if everybody actually works well for a single goal. We humans haven't worked for a single goal in our history.
yea the fact is, socialist make us to be just "ordinary people". and it will end young generation creativity, but for some people the walfare will be well distributed all over the class. or i can said that you work hard for the welfare of all citizen. for example china is very developed although he follows the socialist ideology. so it will depends on the citizen of that country itself  Grin
Socialist countries are succesful Have you noticed that the Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden) are almost always in the top 10 best nations. They have a high standard of living, high education system, free health care, and low crime rates.

None of the Scandinavian countries are socialist.
All of them are democracies, and most important capitalist countries with a free market and economy.
You're mistaken social security and welfare and socialism.

And if you still don't believe that, here is the prime minister of Denmark telling Bernie that Denmark in not a socialist country.

https://www.vox.com/2015/10/31/9650030/denmark-prime-minister-bernie-sanders

Quote
"I know that some people in the US associate the Nordic model with some sort of socialism," he said. "Therefore, I would like to make one thing clear. Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy. Denmark is a market economy."

In Rasmussen's view, "The Nordic model is an expanded welfare state which provides a high level of security to its citizens, but it is also a successful market economy with much freedom to pursue your dreams and live your life as you wish."

The only true socialist countries are those where hunger and poverty rule.

wow thanks for the information, i haven't hear about that before. but im not in any side neither capitalism nor socialism. i just said that both always have pros and cons, and the way of thinking of the citizen itself that can make the cons in other mind to be the pros in their mind  Grin
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as savings, emergency needs possible? on: April 19, 2018, 11:49:24 AM
to me it's more like an investment. it's not saving because the price is fluctuative. because saving in my opinion is to save money with a fixed value. for example if you're saving $ 100 today, the value is same on the day after tomorrow or even next month. but for bitcoin if you save 0.01 for example, the value will change maybe tomorrow, because the rate is change over time and always fluctuative  Grin

9  Economy / Economics / Re: Will future paper money disappear? on: April 19, 2018, 11:06:57 AM
I don't think paper money will disappear.

If the currency were to become fully digital, the terrorists would be able to destroy the world's economy by developing a virus that was powerful enough.

And the world economy will never grow to the extent that people around the world have access to the Internet anytime and anywhere.
yeah i got the idea and i agree with that. but maybe it will become fully digital someday, but we must think how to resolve the problem for example as have been said above
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Will future paper money disappear? on: April 19, 2018, 06:05:52 AM
maybe in the future paper money will disappear, but i think it will takes very long long long time. the reason is simple, in order to replace paper money you must do it all around the world. and for example country A and country B have different economical condition, advance in technology, the way of thinking of the citizen, etc that will takes a long time to adapting with cryptocurency. in the present time, we cant denied that there are a lot of people that is didnt know and didnt want to know about cryptocurency(advance currency in financial sector). so i think it will takes very long time, maybe in next century or maybe in next several decade
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: April 19, 2018, 05:18:25 AM
have you heard about money laundering using bitcoin?there's so much news i read in my timeline about that. but i think using Bitcoin will reduce corruption because using cash to money laundering is better than using bitcoin. the reason is unless you're a suspect already and the notes are marked, cash is untraceable. This is perhaps one of the reasons (smart) government agencies are happy about Bitcoin, Bitcoin creates an illusion of anonymity and privacy , but a sufficiently determined attacker (like the NSA) can eventually trace Bitcoin transactions back to an IP address.  Cool

Well, I have heard about it but not in a high level it is happening, just like you said that money laundering using the bitcoin, may be in my country, it is not happening. But i know that in coming time, people use bitcoin for money laundering. But i heard some politicians are using bitcoin and other crypto currencies becasue of save their black money.
yup it's something more like people using bitcoin or other cryptocurrency to "clean their hands" or to "save black money". the results is, when my father(common people) is heard bitcoin, they will think bitcoin is not good currency&dont have good future to invest. and Maybe it's one of other factors that some country banned bitcoin?  Grin
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: April 19, 2018, 05:10:56 AM
What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?

I wanna learn more some techniques and strategies in trading ,of course i will not give  ,if im ready to take risk again  then i would invest because i know the one that im investing is worth it to invest, experience made us wiser and better so keep believing and dont lost hope.
because the experience of make we become more calm in facing the existing market conditions. and investment is always worth the risk we take, the more we invest it will get us rich quick. so stay consistent on your investments
yeah experience is the best teacher, this is what people always said. but in addition, there's other aspects which is matter, it was the economic condition. what about when someone is loss and they economic condition is don't support to "take risk" again?

your question is depends on the mental and economic condition of people which has been lost in huge amount. different people have different way to overcome that situation. but when i was a kid, my father used to say that "success people was people who rise when fallen. and people who dare to take risks" the word is beautiful right?but in the reality, every people have different obstacle to achieve something. so I think there is no theory that can make you successful. one thing that make you successful is yourself  Grin
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Socialism vs capitalism ,which one is good for us ?? on: April 19, 2018, 03:03:21 AM
since socialism and capitalism is a ideology of the country, it's no single answer that can answer which is better. different people have different point of view, but let me say this as an netral person. all have the pros and the cons, for example in socialism:
There is no market in a socialism economy and therefore, there is no competition. The quantity of products produced and distributed is regulated, including the price that the consumer will pay for the products. While, the capitalism is an economic and political system that is based on the principle of individual rights. It believes that it is inequality that will drive the people to be more innovative and productive.

see the difference?to conclude, i think both is good and always have pros and cons in every sector. but which is the best is depends on the citizen , the way of thinking, and the condition of the country who use that idelogy.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 19, 2018, 02:36:23 AM
I'd better invest my money. Saving will not grow quickly. But if invested it will be more profitable and at the same time saving in the long term.
yeah im agree with you. but no one can guarantee that investment will always more profitable than savings.
to me, as a colleger that so far away from home, i think taking both is good. i invest my monthly salary in my local bank about 10% of my monthly salary, then i use the rest for my cost of living here. And if there is any remainder balance of my expenditure. I will save in a different bank account. and i have doing this for about 8 month and it works well.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: This Merit system is so brutal. Stuck with one merit for over 120 days on: April 19, 2018, 02:29:42 AM
I agree with you, merit system is really too extreme, to get 1 merit just hard, better to use the previous system, pity we are new to the world of bitcointalk
it's pretty hard to me, since my senior member id has been hacked in 2015. and the problem was i enchanted again with this forum and bitcoin, so now i must start from 0 again  Cry Cry
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What major factors affect bitcoin price? on: April 19, 2018, 02:07:47 AM
from my point of view, the major factors that affecting bitcoin price was new technological changes to Bitcoin. the reason was the latest advancements and innovative efforts in technology have the power to influence the price of Bitcoin. for example, now Bitcoin has integrated with the payment system of PayPal. this is one of many factor that attract people to use this currency  Wink
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not compare Bitcoin with money? on: April 19, 2018, 01:40:20 AM
at the present time, we cant compare bitcoin with money. because the technology has not been so developed in the sector of financial. but if the bitcoin can "survive" till the future time, doesn't rule out the possibility that bitcoin will replace money or fairly compete with money.  Grin
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A possibility to travel without your wallet (just with Bitcoins)? on: April 19, 2018, 01:26:36 AM
to be honest. i'm very glad to thinking about that i can travel without carrying my wallet, to prevent robberies, lost wallet, etc. but in my opinion, it depends on the country that you want to travel to, and depends on which country you came from. if the country still lay about "bitcoin",  it would be difficult  Roll Eyes
