1  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Milk and Water Kefir Grains to Make Your Own Kefir on: April 17, 2012, 12:43:18 AM
Kefir is a powerful probiotic beverage that is similar to yogurt in taste and appearance, but contains far greater numbers of probiotic cultures.

It does wonders for the digestive system and studies are showing it may have immune boosting and anti-carcinogenic properties.

The starter culture for kefir is called "kefir grains" and is made from symbiotic bacteria and yeast (The good kinds)

The grains multiply as you make kefir so they are a one time purchase. As they multiply you can share them with friends and family. Once you have the grains the only cost to make kefir is the milk used. In comparison, commercial kefir in the supermarket is $3.50+/bottle and contains fewer live cultures than homemade kefir.

I hope to have a bitcoin checkout ready in the near future, but for now I will accept the current market equivalent of BTC/USD for the prices listed on my website. Please email me for instructions. Contact form available at the website below:

I sell starter cultures to make kefir at http://simplykefir.com (A cultured milk beverage similar to yogurt) and would like to offer BTC as a payment method. This account was created to post in the marketplace and stay up to date with bitcoin developments. I've mined and traded bitcoins for over a year now so I have an interest in the success of bitcoin. I would like to add my product to the list of things you can buy with bitcoins to help increase the functionality of bitcoins (in a small way).
