1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2026 NBA Season on: Today at 12:08:42 PM

If LeBron goes to GSW curry will be a spot up shooter, having open shot since LeBron will draw the defense, seems okay right but curry will not be a threat anymore and it will slow the team since LeBron need to setup a play for everyone since he will be the ball dominant and curry will need to be always open, things will be readable in offense, that will happen, i guess they should not get LeBron or try to, but i could be wrong since they play as team in the US team, that will be an entertaining to watch but we are not sure if they will make it to the finals.

Curry might not be as effective if he’s just used as a spot-up shooter, that would only limit his capability. i also don’t like the idea of LeBron being the point guard for the team like he’s doing with the Lakers.

And honestly, I don’t want to expect too much from LeBron anymore since he’s not the same, he’s getting older. i don’t really get why people want him to join the Warriors. I think we should just trust Curry and let him prove to the world that he can win without another superstar like LeBron.

Besides, he already has Butler, and as long as both stay healthy, that’s already enough to bring the team to a championship.
Lebron may not be in his prime, but he’s still one of the best players in the league right now. Last season, he averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists. As a Warriors fan, I’d prefer Lebron running the plays compared to Podz or Green. He’s also not as injury prone as many other stars. With Curry and Butler as reliable scorers alongside him, the Warriors’ chances would definitely rise. So why not? Especially since Lebron is nearing the end of his NBA career, seeing him and Curry on the same team would be special. The Warriors might even benefit financially, just imagine the ticket prices if LeBron announces it’s his last season. I’d be happy to see them win a ring together, two of the most influential NBA players in history.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Gambling in Land base casinos is is possible? on: Today at 05:37:36 AM
Nah. A gambler immersed in gambling won’t care what time it is. They are very focused and only care about profit, so time isn’t an issue. VIPs don’t even mind how long they’re spending during a session. Unless they’ve set a limit for themselves, whether losing or winning, they’ll only go home once that time limit is reached. As if land based casinos care how much time you spend there. With the number of players they have, I don’t think the owners even bother about time you spend.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔵1win | Crypto Casino & Sportsbook | Win the Lamborghini with 1st deposit 🔵 on: October 02, 2025, 09:59:47 PM
Actually when you're occupied with other important activities that demands your presence for it to be done you won't have that much time to spend gambling for a long time or often everyday. When we're occupied with our job knowing it that we have to work to put food on the table and it's the job that is a sure income source for us and should be where we have to give our time to, it creates no space to gambling all the time  but on schedules.
Agreed, that’s like keeping your attention on other things, especially another source of income. We gamble because of money, and if we have something to do that also involves money, like a job, of course our focus will shift to it. That way, you’ll think less about gambling, which will result in less playing time. Even sports activities will help, as long as we can divert our attention. Playing computer games could also work, but I wouldn’t recommend it much because being connected to the internet means you’re close to the temptation of gambling.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble because of others storyline on: October 02, 2025, 02:39:09 PM
You shouldn’t, coz the moment you start believing it, you’re already letting your emotions in even before you play, which isn’t good. That’s why I don’t really trust what influencers say. It’s either sponsored or they’re just after affiliate links. They get paid to promote, so of course they’ll sugarcoat it. Even if you play the same game and use the same strategy, it doesn’t mean you’ll also win. We all have different timing when it comes to luck. He should’ve asked how much his neighbor lost before he won. Lol.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2026 NBA Season on: October 02, 2025, 08:54:26 AM
Anthony Davis packed on an extra 15 pounds this offseason to become the heaviest player in the NBA now. He looked pretty big on the court before, so I’m sure he will be a powerhouse out there now. Not quite Shaquille O’Neal territory but in today’s NBA I think he will stand out as significantly bigger than everyone else.

Hmm, I wonder how Nico Harrison will think about that.  Roll Eyes Didn't he trade Luka because he was not taking care of his body and always showed up "too fat" after the summer, hahaha. Maybe Nico is already cooking up something and wants to trade AD to let's say Philadelphia or the Clippers. There is always room for a washed up Paul George or Kawhi.  Grin

I think that was his excuse but when it came down to it, it was a business decision. They didn’t want to give Luka the supermax contract he earned and instead chose to deal him to a team that will have the money to pay him in the future. Luka using that to fuel a massive body change is probably great for his career.
I think so as well. If not for his max contract, they wouldn’t trade him. Also, since they know they’re getting Cooper Flagg, they might as well trade him. They saved and made their lineup stronger. AD has defense and can contribute offensively as well. Hopefully, he stays healthy. Actually, I didn’t get it either when they traded Luka, but looking back, smart move. Luka is an example that players should also treat the organization as a business, because at the end of the day, it is business for them.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s the right age to start gambling? on: October 02, 2025, 05:25:33 AM
To me, as long as you are earning and not asking money from your parents anymore, it’s fine. Of course, you should also be of legal age. As for maturity, you can’t say you won’t get addicted just because you’re mature or already in your 30s or 40s. Whether older or younger, you can still get addicted or reckless once you can’t control your emotions. The emotions you feel in gambling are different from your usual emotions, simply because it involves money. You can be frustrated in other things, but frustration in gambling is different. Something like that.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s the best advice you would give to new casino players? on: October 01, 2025, 11:46:59 PM
Try to practice discipline from the very start. Always strictly follow your plan without fail, as you will be the one who benefits from it. Don’t always dream about making a life-changing win from a small amount. Although it’s possible, the chances are very small. So, keep it low, because if you keep thinking about it, it could affect your emotions and your focus, which is not good, as that will lead to worse situations.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the factors that makes you addicted on playing gambling? on: October 01, 2025, 09:37:01 PM
Factors? Nah, just one, mate, love of money, greed. The majority gamble because of money. It’s the same with your friend. As for why he still didn’t stop after spending so much, it’s simply because he’s already addicted. Once you get addicted to gambling, it’s so hard to quit. Even if your friend recovers all his losses and makes some, there’s a big chance he won’t quit because he’s already addicted. Even if he decides to quit, it won’t be easy. Fighting the urge not to gamble is no simple task for an addicted gambler.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the world follow Greece on how they restrict children from online gambling on: October 01, 2025, 01:36:07 PM
Minors playing online has been an issue in many countries because these minors can find a way to bypass restrictions, or the casinos are very lax on their restrictions.
Greece has found an effective way to protect its minors from harmful online activities like playing in casinos.
Restricting the underaged from gambling really does have a huge positive impact on the society but there is it negative part about it also. Sometimes when people are restricted from doing something like teens being restricted from gambling, it tends to create some sort of curiosity in their mind which pushes them to outsource other methods they can use to access gambling.F
Of course, in almost everything there are always pros and cons. To me, the pros weigh heavier in what Greece did. At least when they become curious, they would research the reason. Still, the pros are worth the risk compared to the cons. Although I promote gambling, I don’t want to see the next gen exposed to it at an early age. First, they don’t earn their own money yet. Next, getting addicted to gambling early would lead to trouble, both in the present and even worse in the future.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who do you blame? on: October 01, 2025, 07:52:15 AM
Like you, I also have been in this situation many times. Due to emotions, we think that if we increase the bet, we can recover the loss faster, but this leads us to more losses, as a result, we keep moving towards bigger losses faster. Therefore, it is very important to control our emotions in such a situation. After losing, we can easily forget our limits, but this is the biggest challenge. When we can control ourselves in such a situation, only then will we be responsible. If we lose the specified amount, just stop gambling without thinking about anything else, only then will we be safe from bigger losses.
It's easy to say that you shouldn't think about gambling after losing money. You get a huge urge to make a new deposit and win back the previous one. And this happened to me over and over again for several years. I couldn't stop or say no to myself. I went and borrowed money just to go to the casino again and experience the process of gambling. At the time, it was my escape from the harsh reality. Only it got worse in the end.
Indeed, it’s easier said than done, especially if you’ve been gambling for a long time already. It’s hard to control the urge to come back. Even if you manage to resist it, it’s never an easy feat. If controlling emotions and greed were that simple, there would be far fewer addicted gamblers, but clearly, that’s not the case. Just like you, I also got myself into debt because of gambling, and fortunately, I was able to get out of that situation. No matter what, I will never allow myself to fall into it again. I knew back then that what I was doing was very wrong, and I even knew the outcome could be worse, but I still persisted. After overcoming that, it’s no longer just something I know, it’s deeply embedded in my mind, you should never borrow money for the sake of gambling.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2026 NBA Season on: October 01, 2025, 03:55:41 AM
Didn't see it yet in this thread so maybe some didn't see the news yet. The Curry brothers are finally united in San Francisco and will play the next season together for the GSW, for the first time.

https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/breaking-news/article/seth-curry-reportedly-reaches-1-year-deal-with-the-warriors-will-team-up-with-brother-stephen-in-san-francisco-002805713.html

Definitely a nice pickup for some shooting off the bench. Still, it also looks a bit like a desperation moves, signing guys that haven't been signed yet by any other team.  Grin Still, I always liked Seth Curry and I hope he can help the team at least a little bit. He is already 35 years old as well so his window is closing quick.

I was just reading about that. It looks like the Warriors are trying everything they can in order to keep Steph happy and compete. I like this pickup for them. I think the Horford deal was a good one for them also. They should be a decent playoff team if Green can still play. LeBron would be a better add though.
I’d love to see Lebron and Steph play together on the same team at least once before either of them retires. But getting Lebron to the Warriors would cost a lot. The real question is whether the Warriors are willing to take that risk and pay such a high price. Curry and Butler already have salaries of over $50 million each. Still, it would be so much fun to watch them together, Lebron as the facilitator, and when needed, he can always step in offensively. Just imagine how wild it would get with Curry and LeBron fans, especially since those two groups are usually the ones trash talking each other all over social media. Lol.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport is Really the Most Profitable to Bet On? on: September 30, 2025, 11:55:16 PM
I usually bet on the moneyline. I like the NBA more, but I’ve actually had more winnings in MLB. That’s why I think you should really explore other sports too. We’re talking about money here, so favoritism shouldn’t be the priority, profit should. Both are unpredictable, but in my opinion, the NBA is even more unpredictable because of unforeseen events like injuries, players shooting poorly, or just having a bad game. So if you’re really into sports betting, try exploring other sports. You’ll never know until you try.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ✨The best strategy✨ on: September 30, 2025, 09:48:17 PM
Definitely, gambling isn’t at the top of the list, it’s trading. If you’re not into day trading, then just go for long-term trading. Invest in well-known coins like btc, eth, sol, etc. Don’t invest long term in meme coins or shitcoins, because they’re not meant for long-term investment.

Even though I promote gambling, I can’t advise anyone to treat it as a source of income. You’ll only end up in a worse state if you do. Even if you manage to have a winning streak for a couple of days, remember: there’s no such thing as continuous wins in gambling. For example, your winnings from a 7 day streak can all be gone by the 8th day.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is buying KYC accounts really worse than not gambling at all? on: September 30, 2025, 08:27:48 AM
Of course there is. Imagine you have thousands of bucks there and the casino asks for more information due to suspicious activity, what then? It would be good if they let you withdraw your money before closing the account. But what if they don’t, because their rules state all funds will be confiscated when suspicious activity is detected? Also, what if that identity is bought or fabricated? Then you can only say goodbye to your funds. It’s better to use casinos that don’t restrict your country rather than buying KYC ready accounts.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alcohol + Gambling = Recipe for Disaster? on: September 29, 2025, 11:48:16 PM
It really is a complete disaster. Even without being drunk, frustration alone can make you greedy and push you to exceed your usual bet. So imagine what happens if you’re drunk, you might go all in right from the start or deposit a huge amount, maybe even all your money, and then shove it all in one bet. That’s a total disaster, because even if you hit that first all in, what about the next one? Being drunk, chances are you won’t stop after the win, you’ll probably go all in again until it’s all gone.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling has an impact on aging process on: September 29, 2025, 09:46:24 PM
Well, if you can control your emotions and always stick to your plan, you won’t age fast. You only age faster if you let your emotions take over most of the time, which causes stress. We all know stress isn’t good, what more if it’s constant? If it’s affecting you emotionally or mentally, just stop. Think about yourself first and not just the profit. You can always earn money in other ways like jobs, not just gambling. Don’t force your way into it because no matter how much effort you exert, luck isn’t always on your side.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Back then, people gambled whole Bitcoins - imagine the value today on: September 29, 2025, 02:11:07 PM
I’ve never tried betting a whole btc, just 0.5btc on a single dice bet. Looking back now, that was super dumb, lol. For real, I could’ve been a millionaire by now. But that’s nothing, before Hupplepuff, there was AKcoinminer, who had already won hundreds of btc but didn’t stop until he was down by 500–700 btc. I remember watching him bet 12 BTC per roll, and I don’t think he was even pre-rolling, just straight up rolling nonstop. At least thinking about that helps me console my own biggest “what if” in crypto.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever had a “100% sure” pick… and then it lost badly? on: September 29, 2025, 10:50:00 AM
In gambling, there’s no such thing as 100%. Maybe that’s just what our brain processes when we get overconfident. That overconfidence interrupts us from thinking straight. All the analysis, stats, and numbers don’t guarantee a sure win. From my years of gambling, I can say there’s no such thing as a 100% win, whether in sports betting or casino games. No matter how sure you feel about your bet, it’s still never guaranteed. That’s gambling.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2025 NBA Season on: September 28, 2025, 11:31:33 PM
So, the Warriors finally made a move and signed the 39yr old Horford to a multi-year deal. It’s better than nothing, but their lack of urgency in getting better options isn’t a good look. I feel like the Warriors are still too confident in their small ball lineup even now. As a Warriors fan, I can’t help but feel a little disappointed. While other teams are strengthening their rosters, the Warriors seem unwilling to make a move, even when there’s a chance to get a decent center or rebounder. Look, even Butler can’t help but question the Warriors’ front office.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about profit. on: September 27, 2025, 11:24:58 PM
Lol, it’s not your fault. It’s a good thing you stood your ground. What if it lost, what then? Lol. He isn’t a true friend, just leave him. Even if he said that out of frustration, it still shows he isn’t worth the friendship. If it lost, he might even blame you and your money, thinking you’re bad luck. The audacity, he has the habit but not the capacity to sustain it, and he’s asking someone else for money. Avoid him at all costs. He’s the kind of person who changes his colors when it comes to money.
