I personally appreciate difficult questions for highly educated people like you. Monero is not perfect, but the community will not hide from its imperfections. The more intelligent people who study Monero, the greater the chance that weaknesses (and improvements) can be found.

This is one grand experiment. Of course I hope Monero succeeds, but if it does fail I will promise you one thing. I will learn something from the experience.

Thank you for the mention. My two week estimate was my best guess for completion following funding as of the time I made the post. It may end up taking slightly more time depending on my schedule as of the time it gets funded. I am always working on more than one Monero related project at a time some being more time sensitive than others.

My goal is to get as much of the community involved as possible. Personally I am happier to see donations of time more than monetary contributions.

There are many ways to help Monero without providing monetary support. Please obtain a 200+ reputation rating on a non area 51 stack exchange site and commit to the Monero SE proposal as well as the I2P proposal that I expect will be coming soon. Be prepared for multiple reminders on this topic until our goal is reached.  We need lots of community support in order to accomplish our Stack Exchange goal.
