Currently, it seems another 51% attack is happening?
51% Attack? Do we know who is doing it , if anything happens to Gulden there will be a war that will destroy cryptos for good. Attackers you have been warned. Another? What happened? More then once means it's intentional. I can think of a few people that will want to hurt Gulden. These attacks is most likely to do with the announcement of Nocks as a fintech company for Gulden which was very big news for the currency. @Buerra any other coins that wanted you to add them to Nocks recently and you refused them? Could be, but it's pure speculation at this point. There were some coins that requested to be on Nocks, but I doubt that any of them would do this. We had some decent exposure for the company-news too as we're using other tools to gain exposure (other then the forums). About 2000 reads of the blogs I posted in relation to the news and another 3000 'views' on Twitter with about 200 interactions from tweets about the news/blogs. So yeah, WaterLooDown described it pretty aptly describing this as 'growing pains' on slack yesterday. This surely is a deliberate attack on Gulden, but I trust Malcolm when he says he has a fix and we'll just have to hang tight for the time being. We're keeping Nocks offline for a bit and until' Bittrex is back up (also needs the new wallet) we can't run our service properly at the moment anyway. This is deliberate. These coins have much less network hashrate on scrypt algo and never touched. AUR, EFL, DOGED, 42, CHC, FLO, GLD, BTA, SXC, EMD, LYC, BTM, IEC, NYAN, ARI, FRK, RPC, FST, MNC, SPT, QTL, CAT, EMC2, OMC, GLC and more. I bet none of these coins will be attacked after our dev team has come with a fix. Been watching on the sidelines and you are right. No other coins will be attacked by the same group because it was done to destroy gulden. The development team have fought back and given them a middle finger. |

At the moment majority still follow the team because they have delivered but if LTEX ever delivers his exchange then he will get more respect but until then it's just hot air or hype but there is a big power struggle between LTEX and the development team.

Since months, I still have guldencoins in my iphonewallet. Are these coins safe regarding the upcoming changes at block 250,000?
Yes I think,you do not need to upgrade your mobile wallet. I, indeed don' t see the possibility to upgrade in the appstore, but then again, it looks kind of strange to me that talk about a mandatory update before block 250k, where there isn#t an update needed for the iphonewallet. I also tried to send the coins from the iphone to bittrex but bittrex doesn#t show a QR-CODE and when trying ' pay addrerss from clipboard' , i get the message that I don#t have an address on clipboard and to be honest I don#t manage to get my bittrexaddress to a clipboard. Anyone here who knows exaxtly what to do? Relax mate, your NLG on your iPhone are safe! No update needed... If you want to transfer, you might just as well use the new WIN/OSX wallet, they work perfect and have QR option as well... Thanks danijel and LTEX for answering my question. Have you dumped your coins yet? No one send coins to bittrex to not sell |

Just look at the 24 hour volume of other coins than Bitcoin, Litecoin, Darkcoin and Guldencoin at Litebit. It's a full 0 % EVERY day. So why bother?
With EFL someone called psychoticboy from the Dutch bitcoin embassy holds 50%(excluding premine) of the EFL so no way EFL getting removed off litepaid. More chance of NLG being removed. |

Nice article, I know in Netherlands we more equipped then most countries to lead the charge on crypto revolution. Future job creation will all be online and not in offices, bitcoin and guldencoin cuts out the middle man. The skill to create your own website(business) is going to be as necessary as being able to use email back in late 90s. |

I noticed on coinmarketcap over last week that it have purchases on litebit for over $100 volume every day and yesterday over $300 USD, is people that purchase from litebit and guldenbuy end(mainstream) users not interested in trading? Isn't this a good sign guldencoin making inroads into public space?

I am not holding either this coin or EFL, because I think there is no future (yet). Your enormous efforts (good job on that) proves that.
For non Dutch users, there is a reason we are the best team to never win a football world cup. Majority of Dutch people don't believe in other dutch people and don't want to see other Dutch people succeed. We stubborn and full of pride and reason why there is two dutch country coins. Guldencoin might end up being one of the best coins in the world and the majority of Dutch will be the last ones to buy in , even ones in the crypto world. Lately I have been browsing the forums and I see Dutch people who have invested in coins that turn out to be scams and they still won't look at guldencoin. That is the Dutch way. I plan to change my name today as moderator confirmed they don't rename btc accounts. This is my renamed account. |
