I don't have a significant other either,thank god.They can certainly get annoying.
No significant other=absolute liberty for me Smiley
So no one cares about my love of bitcoin (woo hoo,no one to tell me how to live my life.)
Also agree with mufa23 Smiley
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Biggest Scam Ever!! on: June 09, 2012, 09:21:03 PM
Yeah I just learn about this and I didn't know that most of people here already know. We must find a way to reach a massive amount of people to learn them about this and the bitcoin alternative.
Unfortunately, Bitcoin is still too complicated to grasp for most people, and too dangerous. They're not security experts, they're mostly dumb fucks (pardon the french) when it comes to securing their data. We can't blame them, the Average Joe is just not into this kind of stuff.

I think Bitcoin has to evolve a bit more (in terms of client usability, and ease of securing your money) before it's suitable to be picked up by the masses.

I agree with this.As an inexperienced user of bitcoin myself,it needs to come across as an approachable alternative that any person from any age can use (from gran to the kids for example).Bitcoin should be given a chance to evolve into a more user friendly product (some people would prefer a 'one touch' style form of payment via NFC but we're just not there yet at the moment).

3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Notice how BTC value is rising, since Bitcoinica is gone? on: June 09, 2012, 09:14:51 PM
I do think it is because of Bitcoinica and I'm loving it.

I'm sort of glad that bitcoinica is gone as I've heard that they were nothing but trouble. To stay on topic,I like these latest value rises for bitcoin. This would help the economy Smiley

5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dream Islands lottery (win up to 20BTC jackpot) on: May 18, 2012, 09:39:29 PM
I like entering lotteries.I think the lottery is fine as it is in terms of feedback.Maybe think about getting some PR to help the games a little though as most people are not entering yet due to the fact that the games are lacking in spice.People seem to have doubts about fairness even though this is the most fair game I've ever seen. The lotto games in my home country are not fair as selection is based on who pays the biggest bribe to the guy who chooses the winner rather than a random number generator.

You also need to come up with a good ad campaign that shows people what this is all about.Once they feel this is right for them, they'll enter. At the moment, there kind of isn't one.
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using SHA512 hash as random number generator for Gambling services on: May 18, 2012, 09:37:24 PM
a) You aren't being forced.  people have a right to use the services they wan't.  Complaining that customers want something different than you are offering has to be the most pointless whine ever.  Wouldn't you agree?  Either you offer what people wan't or you don't and run the risk of losing customers/business.

b) How much are you offering to pay?  Oh nothing?  So rephrased "Why hasn't someone else done the work to educate me so I can profit and stuff? Why damn it?  Don't people understand I want to be profitable?"

c) The UK lottery is much less likely to cheat than you are.  The anonymous nature of Bitcoin changes things.  Sure if you had the political and economic backing of the United Kingdom you likely would have an easier time convincing people your drawings are random.

d) Ok.  Feel free to lose confidence then.

I don't think he meant it that way D&T .I'm sure he's just a little frustrated with the slow progress of his business.Once things pick up for him,it'll all be good.Right now I think he's not sure where he's going with his lotto at the minute but all good businesses initially struggle to get going, then once they do,it's good.

8  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What happens when the coins dry up? on: April 18, 2012, 08:21:00 PM
I do wonder what would happen when the coins dry up?

I hope I can get some mining things (a BitForce single or a cluster as Gfx cards use too much energy for what they give back to you-The HD5970s and HD6990s are an examples) so i can get a piece of the pie while the block rewards are still worth getting (50BtC,25BTC,etc). .I'll have to take out some (large) loans in future to help buy them then pay them off at some point in the future as I need to consider some things first (how many computer like things, can I fit into the airing cupboard (as I live in a place where very small budget like apartments are) without too much heat, noise, energy use as I hear of coppers busting ppl for using too much energy and to stop the neighbours  complaining about noise as I live next door to them)

I've been hearing a lot about shakaru lately on these forums. The threads I mostly see these days tend to be about owed debts or this thread for instance.I'm clueless about what happened to shakaru. Can some1 get me up to date?
11  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 2BTC loan on: April 05, 2012, 07:00:06 PM
did you get your loan from film2240?

I'll need to sort that out with film2240. When I can pay this back,it'll be easier to make loans in the future for me as people can trust me some more.
12  Economy / Lending / Re: I am looking to borrow 15,000 BTC to expand my current bussiness. on: April 05, 2012, 06:41:57 PM
Seeing how people are more willing to make large loan requests I wish that people would make it easier for people like me to get single figure loans instead of making it difficult.I want rep by successfull payback of small loans.

Will someone please lend to me here? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74854.0.If interested please reply to my thread rather than here thanks. I will need loans in future to build my mining rig after this one.
13  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 2BTC loan on: April 05, 2012, 06:32:27 PM
i do competitions/quiz in newbies and off-topic section , why cant you win those free BTC  ?  Cheesy

Because i don't know about any of these things.I'd still be happy to recieve a loan to prove myself to be reputable. I'll be able to give my real name, age and phone no to an interested lender.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reverse-engineer bitcoin transactions on: April 04, 2012, 07:20:04 PM
I want to stay anonymous with my money.I don't want some govt guy to start snooping around. Thats what drew me to bitcoins. Take away the anonymity and you lose some of the client base for bitcoin unless the protocol becomes more anonymous. Is this a community that values anonymity or one that wants to give it up?
16  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 2BTC loan on: April 02, 2012, 02:54:12 PM
I wonder what "life emergency" can be fixed with less then 10$..

I wonder that myself. However I'm willing to take a little risk and lend to this guy. gorgo1,send me your BTC address and I'll pay the loan. You agree to pay ths back within a week interest free.If you agree to these terms, please reply back with a BTC address either on here or via PM.

As to his life emergency,I'll throw out a wild guess: He lost his last paycheck under the sofa and cant find it again. lol Smiley

Thanks film2240.I'll take up your offer and sort out the details via PM.I agree to accept a loan from film2240 for 2 Bitcoins to be paid back by next week, interest free.
17  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 2BTC loan on: April 02, 2012, 02:12:18 PM
Have you tried IBB?  They make small loans with no interest:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38544.0

Try there first.

I looked there but they need a much higher rep for even small loans than I have at the moment.I'm looking for a loan.I will payback the loan in a week with small (or no) interest. I wish to build my reputation so lenders can loan to me. I will use this loan to help with one of lifes little emergencies but lost my job recently due to the economy. I hope to get back on my feet soon.If you lend to me,you will always be thanked and paid back soon.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin Prices Drop to New Lows as Investors Bail Out on: April 02, 2012, 10:09:59 AM
SC is certainly a dying currency.Bail out now before you lose everything you have invested in SolidCoin (scam coin). I read up on solid coin and it's more like scam coin now. Thank god I joined late where Bitcoins and Litecoin are the 2 key players. I think.
