1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core Shuts Down Upon Boot Runtime Error |Can't find supposed resolutions on: August 24, 2015, 06:30:18 PM
OK I found the AppData folder. And from what I understand if I delete all the files/folders in the AppData folder and reinstall the whole Bitcoin Core client that I should be good then? Am I supposed to delete all those files and folders and just immediately fire up Bitcoin Core to re-download the whole block and all that or am I supposed to delete all the files/folders in the AppData/Roamin/Bitcoin folder then uninstall Bitcoin Core, reinstall Bitcoin Core, and THEN fire it back up?Huh
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Core Shuts Down Upon Boot Runtime Error |Can't find supposed resolutions on: August 23, 2015, 08:53:36 AM
So every time I open the Bitcoin Core client I get the "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way, please contact it the applications support team" message and I've been reading similar posts and it seems like most people who've claimed to solve this issue did so by deleting everything except wallet.dat in your %appdata%\Roaming\Bitcoin folder and allow Bitcoin to re-download the block chain. Except I can't find any "app data" folder, especially not in my user folder. My bitcoin.qt client is saved in my program files folder and there is no wallet.dat file visible anywhere in this location. Is there a certain trick I'm not aware of to access this "app data"? or wallet.dat?? This problem started occuring RIGHT AFTER my client was done synchronizing with the block host and my bitcoin finally showed up, that I sent way before this process was finished. Then it seemed like everything was finally working as it should be then this. I just want to regain control of my bitcoin more than anything and I don't think I have a copy of the keys to the wallet unless they automatically save theirself somewhere when downloading the software??

If you can help me resolve this/point me in the right direction I'd very much appreciate it and if you could send your response/copy of your response to me via email at otf_2h4dii3@safe-mail.net I'd greatly appreciate it!

If you help me regain control of my BTC there will be a reward once that occurs!!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / PLEASE HELP | Bitcoin Core | Block NoMyt Connecting | on: August 16, 2015, 12:26:20 PM
Hey, I just recently downloaded the newest Bitcoin Core wallet client and before I realized there was any problems and thought there would be no reason that wallet wasn't functioning properly I sent my  bitcoin from my blockchain wallet to a receiving address I created via the Bitcoin Core wallet in an attempt to switch to the new wallet.  That was 2 days ago and still it's saying my balance is 00000 BTC, although I'm assuming that it's prompting "Block Not Connected" and "15 Weeks Behind." My best guess is that it needs to be connected to  the blockchain somehow and am absolutely oblivious as to how I'm supposed import the blockchain on Bitcoin Core?! [If that's even what needs to be done?]  Can someone  please explain to me how Icorrect this issue?? I'm not stupid, am a fast learner, and am just no bitcoin expert or miner but understand most the general principles of bitcoin.

AND PLEASE m let e know if when this is solved that my bitcoin that I sent to the receiving address that I generated on Bitcoin Core [right now you can actually click on the exact addresss I sent it to to see more details (and of course says that no money was received when this obviously isn't true for the exact address matches the address I sent my bitc oin among my outgoing paymenton my blockchain wallet?!!?!?!?!?

PLEASE HELP & if you do help me retreive this bitcoin I HAVE A FOR SURE REWARD FOR YOU!!!

If you could respond via email instead of reply or PM on forum I'd greatly appreciate this as well. There is a much higher chance I actually get your response!!
Email: OTF_2H4Dii3@safe-mail.net

Thank you!!
I really appreciate it.
