From the Microsoft Store, the device itself is £639, and the Type Cover is £109.99. Total cost new is £748 = 3940 mBTC. As I say, more than happy to entertain offers along the Amazon price range

The power supply listed in the Amazon UK link (possibly others, not sure) comes with a 2.1mm plug, rather than the required 2.5mm. Just an FYI in the hope that nobody else makes the mistake I did.

No, I don't see how this could be beneficial for her. Don't do it.
If you want to name her after a sweet asset, I would suggest Apple. Or Goldie.

any chance of a price drop as these now sell for 0.75 from sonicboom?
I know that he is USA only but its a big price differance
You probably need to pm yxt about that. AFAIK, OC just mirrors his price and slaps his handling fee on top. Unless you want a lower postage and packing price, there's not much OC can do.

And you wouldn't ever have to worry about thieves running off with all the change.
The main problem I see with this laundromat (and other things like vending machines) is that there needs to be an internet connection at some point, right?
Yep it would need a net connection, I guess you could hardwire them in to the building. That'd be something few people expected - ethernet enabled washing machines.

It would charge $0.01

Damnit, DHL(?), get Shipment #3 into OC's paws!
They have just arrived, I'm trying to get it all packed up before I ship them off, fast running out of time though, they *may* get sent tomorrow if I cant make it to the post office in time. Best of luck.
