1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BBR] Boolberry: Privacy and Security - Guaranteed[Bittrex/Poloniex]GPU Released on: November 21, 2015, 11:17:46 PM
I started mining boolberry for about 2 months now, and I was wondering, what does the price usually regulate at? When I started mining the price was greatly effected by the massive influx that brought the price to 8k satoshi, and I was wondering if if the price usually sits at half of that? orrr...

You can look at a historical price if you want but the price has never really been "stable".  I expect it will continue to go up and down in the future. Thank you for mining and supporting the boolberry network.

Okay. Thank you. Boolberry's my favorite coin and the best to mine for my GPU

Do you guys think that the difficulty will go down in a few days since the price went down? Because the difficulty doesn't seem to be goin' down O_o

Hey guys, so, for the wallet, I'm just curious if it's possible for the wallet to read the blockchain out of an SD card? it seems to want it in the AppData folder, but I'd much rather have it on my SD card.

If you're on Windows you can use mlink to create a link.

mklink /J "path" "path"

You'll need to copy the files in appdata/roaming/boolb to a dir on your SD card and rename the boolberry dir in the appdata/roaming file before running the command.

example:

mklink /J "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\boolb" "drive letter:\boolb"    You must put the paths in quotations.

Where drive letter is the letter of your SD card.  The naming depends on your system.  It could be F:, G:, etc...

1.  Copy contents of appdata/roaming boolb to a dir on SD card
2.  Rename the folder appdata/roaming/boolb
3.  Run the mlink command from a command prompt
4.  Launch Boolberry.  It will look for the blockchain in appdata/roaming but the link you created will point it to your SD card.

If my instructions are confusing you do a google search for mlink windows and find more information/instruction.

Thanks, so much, man! I had no clue mklink was a thing. This'll help me in the future as well!
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 24, 2015, 10:50:58 PM
I would just like to say that cryptocurrency has taught me a plethora about hardware and how algorithms work. I have never bought a bitcoin, but I have gained $2.07 in BTC in the time that I have been mining altcoins with my laptop's GPU. It's a geeky hobby to me more than anything, but it's definitively something I would not regret, and I'm sorry that you do :/

Well, I do it pretty often. I know it's a bad idea but it's just to test because I'd rather do that than download the entire damn blockchain

Hey guys, is it possible to mine straight into an exchange wallet? because every one I try says that it needs the Payment ID, and idk how to put that into the miner to tell it to send my coins to that payment ID

Hey, I wanted to know where the burstcoin blockchain was on my computer. I'm running the windows version of the wallet with version 1.2.3 of the server. I am currently downloading the blockchain and I'm a bit nervous because I'm not quite sure where it's going on my computer. Thanks.
