there are problem with qtum...i'm not so sure that they are 100%legit. Qtum topic is full of scam alert
In defense, most topics/anns are full of scam alerts (even for legitimate coins). Qtum looks promising but their ICO price seems high considering how many coins are going to be distributed.

In the short term, not likely. If you did mine a newer coin with low difficulty and high initial block rewards there is a possibility that you can make a profit if the coin pumps (IF the coin pumps) but for most of the largest alts (Eth, Monero, ZCash, etc) the cost it would take to find a block isn't worth the investment.

Great job with the rollout so far! Does the ICO require its own separate account from the web wallet?

I remember that it was mentioned that the Krypton Dev is not active this month, because of real life issues. He should be back next month.
Crypto IS REAL LIFE !! I think you mean life is crypto. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Isn't the dev SHE? Not that I'm aware of. Dev is dev, covertress is brand ambassador, emcee, HR, PR, tester, investor, and knowledgebase all rolled into one.

This coin is playing right into my weakness...

Is this coin worth mining?
No. Either there's some serious blockchain issues that have yet to be sorted out or this is an abandoned project. At its peak it was only worth 50 satoshis and is unlikely to do that again, especially if wallets aren't working.

Why is this coin going down in price almost daily ?
I've talked to quite a few people that ended up selling to free up more BTC for Lisk-based ICOs. Krypton is far from dying and this is a great opportunity to buy cheap while devs toil in the background and generate publicity for the coin. One positive spin on this recent price drop is that there seems to be a somewhat even distribution of coins instead of a few whales bankrupting the price.

What's going on?
1 anonymous 33,554 0.000 2 pappydeez 26,844 0.000 3 dayton 11,185 0.000 4 Pasha 2,237 0.000
No one's receiving any shares or KR
It happens from time to time but you're still receiving full shares. Once the backend issues are fixed all the coins mined during that period will hit almost instantly. One time suprnova was freaking out about me doing a withdrawal because about 50+ coins hit almost instantly and the maximum recommended held in pool is 20.

hi, any benefits over competitors?
Hello. One benefit imo is that this coin wasn't overvalued before/during launch. The rush to eth tech has been beneficial to some coins and destructive to others. There has and will be time to properly test and implement everything in kr's roadmap to ensure that there will be a stable platform to allow the coin to grow without being forced to navigate crises during peak. Krypton's ready to blow up without imploding and will have stability before eth clones oversaturate the market.

Somebody know something, accumulation @Yobit
It's not too unusual. Once a coin goes public there's usually a dump that floods the market and drives down price. Eventually once those coins are recirculated you start to see consistent gains (just like Ethereum's first few weeks). It could be getting primed but so far everything's looking healthy and it's only going to get better. To the moon!

What does it take to get on coinmarketcap.com?
It will take a block explorer and ideally a few more exchanges to trade on. The explorer can be something of a pain because of how much third parties want to charge. It's better to make sure everything's ready first (ie smart contracts) so it doesn't turn into a no man's land like Shift.
|
|
|
Now that the crowdfunding campaign is over should we start requesting that KR is added to exchanges or is that already in the works? Keep up the great work! Mining, qt wallet, and transactions are all working perfectly.

DMD Multipool / DMD CLoudmining is down until issues with hosting company are solved
it seems running cryptocoin services in their network is forbidden by their terms of use
in case we find no solution with them (which im afraid will not happen....)
we have to move to another hosting provider
i keep ya updated
DMD Multipool and DMD CLoudmining income is not affected
only the frontend logic and process payouts was managed by that server
as soon as we open server at new place again we can process all payouts and nothing will be lost
It is surprising that some of the owners of the servers trying to prevent the advance of crypto currency. But in the future of their foolish behavior will throw them away down and lose profits compared with those people who appreciate and understand crypto currency. I think there comes a time to think about your own server ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It's disappointing how many people are unaware that bitcoins/altcoins can be used for more than buying drugs and hitmen. Blame the news...

Well, it looks like danbi's is back to mining according to the explorer. Also, It looks like there's a new pool called Stink Flipper (not making this up). Any info on that one? I'm curious about the 100% efficiency.

@pokeytex
I just sent you 20 coins, best I can do atm. I hope that your wallet can get back on track! The whole situation is unfortunate but as a silver lining was an eye-opener as far as security goes. One security suggestion that I don't think has been mentioned yet is that for most keyloggers a virtual keyboard (included in Win10) can't typically be detected. That being said never use the same password as for anything else. If you are, I'd recommend salting them. Best of luck!

I'll post an example of my sgminer 4.1 (from main page) Diamond .bat file for pool mining:
------------------------------------------------------------------- setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer -kdiamond -o stratum+tcp://your pool:xxxx -u ________ -p __________ --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I set GPU settings in MSI Afterburner first and then in the settings of sgminer to make sure they were the same values and to also change powerlevel and fan, then used sgminer to write the .conf file. Granted, I still have to manually change the fan settings for some weird reason every time it starts but I've struggled otherwise with writing a conf of my own. This is also for a single GPU so settings will very from person to person. Hope this helps and happy mining!

A pump-and-dump works by encouraging people to buy high with false information about a price surge and then selling off a massive amount, bottoming out the price. Encouraging people to buy low is the exact opposite and also sound investment. Thanks for playing though and congrats DMD! It's #5 on Cryptsy's Active Market list.
