Check your Bittrex account, they say they are down due to a DDOS attack but for over a month now hundreds of accounts have been locked from users. I'v been 30 days trying to get my account opened through both basic and enhance verification (submitted 8 times) with no results as have hundreds more. I think Bittrex is in real trouble. Guys, check out the feeds for these guys..@ramikawach @richiela @BittrexExchange. You'll see Hundreds of hundreds of request for service to restore locked accounts.

Can anyone throw out a figure on what a developer might charge to create the potcoinj that's needed

So, there are no provisions in the posv algo for coins being directed to Potcoin for sustainability?
|
|
|
With the switch to posv, was/is there a provision/mechanism for some coin to be directed to Potcoin for basic overhead. I was never clear on this.

Do you guys think Potcoin's transition to Posv been pulled off successfully. Or are there more algo issues that still need attention?

Hi Guys, I have 21 addresses in my Potcoin wallet stacking but I noticed one of them stopped appearing in the normal rotation of things on my transaction page. It last appeared in transactions 9/16 09:50 with an amount of 0.02464116 on 500k coins. It's prevous round was 9/15 16:14ith an amount of 0.1330623...any ideas p.s. On the Overview page my balance is correct.

As a non tech guy who is in for the long haul, I'v learned a bunch about POSV from you guys, Thanks. I'm sure you can fill me in on my situation. I tried for quit a while to get a new wallet up and running before the official transition but was unsuccessful (not for lack of trying - to much teck speak for an idiot..bootstraps, dat files, deleting shit, ect). Finally, with the last wallet update it downloaded without incident. Of course by that time all my coins (1m+) were/are locked up on Cryptsy. My questions: 1) when does the coin age begin, when they are put into the wallet or when they were acquired. 2) when exchanges open again would it be best to stake my coins in one lump sum? I just keep wondering if all this turmoil is/was caused for the benefit of Devs and Major coin holders to get a staking advantage over the majority of coins in the system that can't stake.

Crytsey Responce to me, [–]ny2cafuse 1 point an hour ago Crypsty is pretty cautious when it comes to wallet updates. They are offline under the premise that the entire network isn't updated, and there is a chance for a fork if enough hashing power was put into a POW wallet version. Fact of the matter is that the devs should have included code that blocked older wallet versions. This would have blocked the POW wallets from connecting to other nodes, and Cryptsy POT wallets would have been online a long time ago.

Responce from Cryptsy [–]tribble 1 point 50 minutes ago So some developer must contact Cryptsy: "We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Potcoin wallet is down for Network Issue. We are waiting an update from the developer. There is no estimated time given by our technical team . We will inform all once it has been restored. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Elen Customer Service Manager"
