1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Connection issues with Antminer S1 on: May 08, 2014, 02:24:06 PM
Not sure what the issue is. When I was trying to set these up I did it one at time. ( I purchased Cool I logged into each one as 192.168.1.99 which is on each miner. When I logged into the unit already started to have troubles. I would start changing setting and it would hang up. I would reset the unit then try to log back in and then it would either let me get in part way or miner would lose connection. Once repeated this process until I got in and set to static IP i wanted and then set the Static on the router. IT started to mine.
When I went on to setup up the second one the same thing happen. This time I had to reset the router. Which Im guessing because the router has the mac of the other miner still  logged. I reset the router. I try and log in again same thing happens as the 1st miner. I have to reset either the miner and router until I can connect and get the right info in.

So after trying to set static IPs for all 8 miners and getting the pool set which cant believe took like 5 hours of resetting. I have all up and working and my pool reads the right speeds so I go to bed. I wake up next morning Im able to log into each one and no issues.

Today I try to just type in the ip of 1 miner and all 8 of them disconnect. If I ping the IPs they are unreachable. I reset all the miners and they start mining again. IPs are reachable.

2 miners are on a single 1000 watt psu. So i don't think power is the issue because they mined 24 hours and then I try to access 1 and all are out.

WTF am I doing wrong? Any one know what my issue is?

Is it setting the static in the router and on the device at the same time causing the issue?

Should setting something up differently because there are 8 miners together on the same network and all the guides are for 1 single unit?

This should be simple and easy or clearly I dont computer! Smiley

She collect all coupons pretty much. Have tubs of them at this point. For instance. She has $6 off three Gillette products. Some how like you see on that show. She found it on sale and used another coupon and got 15 cans of shaving cream for free. Yesterday she got 5 12 roll cottenelle towel paper for $2 a package when no normally its $5 to $6.

You asked how much for the service. She has 15 of those $6 off Gillette coupons. I think she said she wanted $15 for the 15 $6 off coupons. I'm sure prices are negotiable.

If there is something you are looking for in particularly then let me know and ill have her search for the deals. If more people are interested ill get her on here to explain and make deals with deal Smiley

They are terrible.  Iv been waiting on 1500 since may 15th of the whole dwolla issue. If you look at my post history I have a log of the conversation that I have had with them. To this day they are still working on it and have yet to see any progress.

Still no outcome. Have emailed again and still staying they will get an answer from management and will get back to be as soon as they have an answer. There have been 2 times where I have had to email twice to get an answer. I would love if there was a way to sue to take them to some sort of Japanese BBB. Worst service ever from these guys. Like I have even asked for reimbursement in BTC instead of USD and they wont do that.

Anyone have any idea how to handle this? I know people are having issues with wire transfer withdrawls but this is a separate issue that happened before the USD freeze. Anyone know of any other posts that people received there money back from the dwolla issue?

Roughly having same issues with my rig freezing. My parts are asrock extreme9 with 4 xfx 7970 16 gb memory. Not sure if you use one for games or what not. When I crossfire and run a game it freezes up in about an hour or so but one card is fine. Mining freezes in 4 hours with 4 cards. Doesn't freeze mining (LTC) in 3 cards. It has to be motherboard or card related im guessing. Still trying to figure it out. Hope someone give you and answer.

Is there away to file a report/sue mtgox? I was transferring funds from mtgox to dwolla and then their dwolla account was seized. Dwolla shows cancelled. Mtgox still shows processed. Iv email both mtgox and dwolla. Dwolla said its all up to mtgox to give me my funds back. Mt gox still tells me 2 months later they are working on it. Im so fed up with their crap and not resolving my issue. Anyone have an idea? It is $1500 that they have of mine. Not just is sueing is even worth it if it can be done. All input welcome

Trying to help someone set up there 7990 for ltc mining
 Usingimg cgminer the newest and newest drivers and cgminer crashes instantly.  Any idea on the issue? Tried going to an older cgminer. Think drivers are the issue?  It wont just fire up with no special flags in the .bat or anything. Definitely not like my 7970s. What am I missing?

I have emailed dwolla this this is the response I get.
Joe,
Our apologies Joe as these are cancelled from most recent
working backwards. You will want to check with Mt. Gox or in your Mt.
Gox account to inquire about the whereabouts of the cancelled
transactions, as they were initiated from their system.
    That means when I sent my money from gox it goes from you in japan to your dwolla account then from your dwolla account to mine. Now since that was manually cancelled by dwolla because your account was seized. So the transactions could come to me because there was no funds available. Therefor my $1502 is seized in your account which holds you responsible for my lost funds. So how are you investigating the issue any further if your are not going to get that money back in a seized account by the DHS. You would need to settle the court order which could be weeks or years and even if its settled they still might not give that back to you. I want my USD to be reimbursed. There shouldn't been an issue with giving your customer was is rightful theirs.

Looking for an update. I need this issue resolved soon. I feel that this is unacceptable and that my funds should be reimbursed immediately. I have been a loyal customer and have done all my trading on your site. How would I want to continue to be a customer if when there is an issue and you have zero resolution or information about my funds other than investigating the issue. My credit card company or bank doesn't take a week with no real answer. Please there needs to be something done. I need my funds and a legitimate answer to when I will be reimbursed? I transferred 2 transactions. One for $1000 and one for $502. They were both cancelled on the dwolla side due to the court order. Curious on when my $1502 will be back to gox.
