1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: January 16, 2018, 07:29:23 AM
Another scam coin. STRAKS Developers pulled the shady swap, what makes new buyers think it wont happen again? Just a cheap move to lower the total supply. Anyone holding SIGT is now screwed.
2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BEWARE OF CEX.IO SCAMMERS on: January 06, 2018, 10:02:00 PM
Years ago I would mine and deposit on their exchange. One day I logged in to see my coins missing. Was told it was due to a fee. Stay away from CEX.IO it may be different now but there are better safer options.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [BGR] Bongger! Wooooo!!! Weeeeeeeeee!!! Bonggers!!!!! Yeah!!! on: January 01, 2018, 08:07:08 AM
Are there any plans for development beyond the current functions? Please excuse my ignorance but in my research a lot of the cannabis coins don't have any vital function for users or businesses. Is it possible to implement other functions without switching blockchains or algorithms? I don't understand how the blockchain and applications like wallets work or if this is even possible. Ever thought about a re-branding/re-naming? I'm from the US, a very heavy cannabis user and investor in the US/Canadian Cannabis stock market, as well as a good background in the sale of paraphernalia, and with research done in plant physiology and I feel like bongger is a name unique to this coin. I haven't heard it used in conversation or pop culture references. Either way Ill still support this coin as I try to do all cannabis coins and appreciate the work done so far on the project.

The low coin supply and history make Bongger a really good Cannabis based cryptocurrency contender if we can pick up interest. I think they all will rise in value but only the ones that provide unique functions will be mass adopted.

Another question I have, will keeping the wallet open help the network by acting like a seed to other users? Are there any other ways to support the network aside from mining? If it helps I can run a node at my home and office if it will help distribute files.

Just in case anyone is using an old GAWminers Scrypt miner here is the scrypt I use for CGminer

Code:
cgminer.exe -o site -u username -p password -S //./COM3

The Bongger Android Wallet has been released to the Google Play Store!

I haven't seen it appear during a search yet but it's only been 5 minutes.   Keep your eyes peeled , or PM me for a copy of the APK if you want to get down and dirty sooner rather than later.

A couple details about transaction processing time:

Bongger sent to the wallet from an outside source will appear in your balance after 1 confirmation, but should show in your pending balance as soon as the transaction hits the mempool at large.

Bongger sent from one android wallet app user to another android wallet app user will transfer about as instantaneously as one can get when dealing with a blockchain as the transaction is indexed while it's being broadcast to the network.

Coin security:

All private keys for your wallet are stored only on your device, and can not be recovered if you don't write down or otherwise back up the mnemonic phrase given to you when you create your new wallet.

However, just because your private keys never leave your device does not mean they are completely safe.   If your phone gets lost, be sure you have the ability to wipe the phone if you are storing a large value of Bongger in the wallet.    As long as you know your login pin and mnemonic phrase, you can recover your coin in the wallet app.

Disclamer

I along with anyone else involved in development work for the  Bongger coin are not responsible for any loss monetarily or otherwise stemming from the use of any Bongger wallet and related software.

Thanks! Gonna download it soon.

Done. https://forum.polytimos.net/topic/41/howto-solo-mining-polytimos

I've been doing this for days and never got anything, can it be simply that suprnova is killing us all? Today Suprnova's share looked like 99% lol

Same here with 2x gtx 1080 ti's. Guess solo mining is dead already. At least Suprnova shares are guaranteed vs nothing mining for days.

Remove miningpoolhub.com from the list, they are still allowing miners to connect and mine even though the wallets have been disabled.

Have a bug where Infinity play consumes stamina without entering battle. Just loads back to main screen. Happens about once in three play attempts. On an Iphone 5. (Switching to Android version very soon, having lots of other issues dealing the IOS inconveniences). Just started playing yesterday and other game modes have never had this issue.

Anyone know if your mined coins are lost if you don't log in for 4 weeks like it says on the top of the page?
