1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the role of home/away matches? on: Today at 08:27:56 AM
If you are involved in sports betting on team games such as football, then before you place a bet, you probably conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluate the various factors that may contribute to the victory or defeat of your chosen team. One of the main factors in this analysis is home or away matches. Depending on where the team plays - at home or away, the probability of winning or losing can change by a certain amount. What do you think is the role of home/away matches? If this probability were expressed in numbers, what would it look like? Is playing at home or away a major factor for analysis or a secondary one?
I once came across the opinion of one analyst who considered this to be the main factor in predicting the outcome of a match. He considered everything else to be secondary. What do you think?

I think the role of home/way can be very impactful for teams in the middle or bottom of the standings in a league, these teams usually have much better results when playing their games at home compared with what they achieve playing away matches. The big teams do not really get impacted by such fact as they have really good quality players that make a difference even when playing away so they usually get good results playing everywhere.

The level of odds of course changes when teams playing away being higher when teams playing away games, including both strong teams and weak ones.

It is now confirmed that Perez signed two year deal with team Red Bull Racing and he will be driving for them until 2026.
I dont know if this was the right move from Red Bull, Perez is getting older and his performance is not great this season.
He is on fifth position with only 105 points, above him are Verstappen, Leclerc, Norris, Sainz and Ferrari is very close in team rankings.
https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article/breaking-sergio-perez-red-bull-racing-contract-driver-market.6Vmvwy3TCI1JNFsXbnecih

For me keeping in the team the most mediocre driver of the whole grid is not the best option, yes even that guy Sargeant can do better with a car like Redbull than Perez is doing lately.I don't know if he has family issues, personal issues or other problems which can impact his driving as Hamilton was badly impacted when he broke up with that singer of the Pussy Cat Dolls group and that was reflected also in his driving, for Perez though we don't know anything of yet for such problems although there were some voices 1 year ago when he won the Monaco race, voices that were turned down by him.

If there are no problems that can impact your driving then how can you drive so bad with one of the fastest cars of the grid if not the fastest of all for the moment, that is out of my understanding,in normal conditions a driver with loads of experience like Perez is should drive much better than this.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: June 06, 2024, 08:07:32 PM
Nah, with a pre today it's pretty much confirmed we won't get monthly next week.
We got post monthly last week and pre this week, they will stretch it now and give the normal monthly best case scenario on the 17th.
Everyone will agree with you here. We aren't going to get the bonus before 17th of this month. The 15th is Saturday and 16th is Sunday. Stake doesn't send the monthly bonus on those two days of a week. We would receive it before 15th if the pre-monthly bonus wasn't sent today. Anyway, I have received $30 from the bonus today. Turned it to $200, then gave it back.

Well good to know that are still people who are winning at Stake,I lost 10 deposit in a row there, good thing they were small 25 dollars one and I am never ever touching that website again, how come in Rabbit Garden,it gives like more than 15 loses in a row by buying the bonus, consecutive lost bonuses, something is definitely wrong if not with Stake with Pragmatic absolutely at least.I received 2 dollars from the bonus today so I assume you must be Platinum IV or Diamond to receive that sort of bonus in a day and getting a pre-monthly of 30 dollars a day for 3 days,so you get 90 dollars and I get 6 dollars. You either have wagered a huge amount of money in these last months or as I said you are a top level there,at least Platinum IV or Diamond.

Oh I just saw now you gave them back, this confirms my doubts that things are not like they used to be there,I used to win very often, now it is since 3 January 2024 that I have not won anything,my last win was a huge one x11339 on Return of Green Knight, yet since then I have only lost, not normal.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What about low odds in sports betting? on: June 06, 2024, 02:14:46 PM
I recently came across a discussion about low odds in sports betting. I never believed that using low odds in sports betting could lead to success. And I believed that the reason for this state of affairs was that one loss can cancel out many victories. For me, this seemed like something that did not require proof, until a man began to argue with me, who, according to him, had achieved success in sports betting and had been taking profits from bookmakers for a long period.
 His strategy is:
1. He selects matches with relatively low odds, the outcome of which is more or less clear. For example, when an experienced team plays with outsiders.
2. You should choose many such matches for diversification purposes, so that one random loss does not wipe out all your winnings.
3. It follows from this that in most cases, low odds work out, and random losses are offset by a large number of wins.
I would like to ask you, what do you think about such strategies? What do you think are the disadvantages of this strategy?

I think this man is lying or is living completely in a distorted reality of his own.The reason is simple and that is that such low odds never fail to surprise a lot of us seasoned gamblers.Let me remind you that you are right to believe that one lost such bet cancel out many victories and let me remind you of some happenings a couple of months ago which is some heavy favorite in NBA with odd 1.04 lost against the biggest underdog, same shit happened in tennis in that same time frame. This is a clear example that having success in sport betting does not rely on low odds but in being able to analyze games correctly.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone take gambling as a source of income to he/she life? on: June 06, 2024, 01:34:06 PM
I was gambling today online since their is strike no work, so decided to take all my day to place a bet and this thought comes to my mind. That is it how the jobless men do gamble all day with the little money they've, because this is insane to me but to those people who gamble as the means of their income it's terrible. I rememberd a friend of mine back in the days in school all he does was to gamble all day not going to class, and the gambling favors him alot any time he comes to the hostels he do comes back with a big bag of foods. But that was back then his parents was sending him money, but right now with the economy situation in some countries someone will haven a little money meanwhile he/she have gone alot stress to get the money and he/she will tries to increase the money by gambling. Everyday he/she continues like this hmmm it's bad.

I said let me express my feelings towards this to forum gambling discussion, if their are people who are living in this kind of lifestyle. And what will be your opinion towards the people living in this kind of lifestyle everyday of their life's?

Thank God no,absolutely no as this is a devastating destruction to your life.Trying to increase your money through gambling is a fatal mistake which brings misery in 99.99999% of cases as very rarely,in fact I have never seen a jobless or homeless person making it to being a multimillionaire from gambling.Conducting such a way of life for me is an assurance to a stressful life full of pain and almost zero positive emotions and this also impacts someone life longevity for the worse because of such stress.Anyone conducting such a way of life should stop immediately and try to find a job and only gamble a small percentage of their salary, this can improve the way of life.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling increases computer education. on: June 06, 2024, 12:37:58 PM
Each time I visit some physical betting shop in my country, I usually observe how some elderly people make use of computers. I live in a country where most people 55 years and above don't have basic computer education. Many of them cannot use the mouse, keyboard, or other parts of the computer. This might be because most of them have not been exposed to computer education.

However, the introduction of online betting has forced most gamblers in my country to learn how to use the computer. It is now common to see some elderly people using the mouse and keyboard effectively. Most of them have never attended any computer education class but learned through observation. Others might have gone through some level of training from family or friends. I am sure many of them wouldn't have learned anything about the computer if not for online gambling. What are your thoughts?

This shows how a society which has gambling as a habit as this I am understanding from this story can benefit from such "plague" as it is a "plague" that has created new needs for people to learn to adapt. This is a good example of becoming computer literate,of course basic level in old people age which usually don't have the patience and desire to learn new things, let alone computers.Still though in your society there is this "plague" as I said which needs to be fixed as learning computer cannot solve economic problems and since you see elderly people on betting clubs this means that the economy is not sane at all.In developed countries where economy is somewhat better elderly people usually go to dancing clubs for elderly to have a good time and certainly not lotto clubs.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People keep asking me to borrow money, some of them for betting on: June 06, 2024, 10:47:41 AM
I think the best way is to not lend money here and there.I know that people who lend money are generally good hearted and a bit more trustworthy than they should. In our time the level of not so loyal and trustworthy persons have increased insanely because of the problems we have most likely from the world economy not being in a great shape, the best thing to do is to stop lending money to "friends" from college and limit lending to only people who are close relatives which we know well and we know that most likely we will have not any difficulty to get the money back.We are living in difficult times.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 05, 2024, 07:24:58 PM
From the title of the topic it's clearly that I'm someone who considers gambling a fun activity but I can't ignore the fact that for some people gambling is quite profitable as well. I'm referring to very lucky ones as that some people because most of the gamblers get inspired after hearing their stories.

I've made some profitable bets especially in sportsbook but I won't consider those much profitable because the bets I have placed were of low value and that's why the earned profit was also low. Most of the profits were with very low odds and that's why I just ignore those profits and enjoy the fun part of gambling.

I must say that I'm not among those lucky ones and haven't yet made huge profits in gambling but I want to know that do we have some of those lucky ones on this forum who have made exponential profits in gambling? If yes then kindly share your gambling story to inspire others.

Let me break it a bit down for you. Most gamblers when they start winning, this is the most dangerous time as they are enticed by such winnings and such winnings they come in the beginning usually from sport bets as most gamblers start somewhere in sport betting, you won't find any gambler who does not know sport betting and jump straight to roulette or slot machines. Therefore I think that the very lucky ones do not exist in the long run,for this I have solid proof,I have seen people hitting max win on reputable casinos and come one week after begging for a tip as they were broke, this means that they can't resist the need to come back to ask for more and they have not won irrelevant amounts, they have hit sometimes up to 80.000 dollars which in many countries even in developed ones is 2 years of a net payment while in very developed countries 1 year of full payment so gambling is a fun activity but can become a fatal obsession.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fatal mistake on: June 05, 2024, 10:09:45 AM
A really sad story to say the least. These persons by such gesture they show they don't give an absolute damn about their family life.I don't want to sound negative but leaving three sons and a small daughter without food because he wanted to gamble all night and believed that by such gesture he would have multiplied the money is the worse a person can do.I feel sorry for his family as they have no fault for his irresponsible behavior which lead to fights and eventually even divorce, these actions can go and bring further misery to the children.I hope things get fixed as soon as possible.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling push notifications. on: June 05, 2024, 08:40:57 AM
It is simple as long as you link your google address to a specific gambling site after sometime you will see new emails from other providers of casino games. The reason for that is simple,we all know that Google does not care that much about privacy and especially Gmail which is part of their applications that they always update and innovate by adding new features. There is a cost to these innovations and that is privacy,no matter how hard they try to improve privacy so far they are not known for doing it well so I would not be surprised by such notifications, all fault of Google Gmail. You also have used the same Google account.

Thank you for the prize,a wonderful one nowadays which I am going to fully spend in the earliest,it is 70.000 for a Bitcoin now so let's do this. Can't also wait for the next season to start as I am again in a signature campaign in which I am saving the money for different pools from this signature for the upcoming season.I think it is going to be a good one and I have build a "secret" strategy to maximize my chances on Pot B,of course I am not going to say it and of course it is not going heavily with the underdogs hoping for a huge win, this season the guys were lucky,I am pretty sure with the new format there won't be such easy points anymore Grin, there is time until then though so let's wait and see.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is getting addicted to gambling right or wrong? on: June 04, 2024, 03:26:22 PM
Gambling addiction is process in which an individual cannot control their urge in gambling even when they tend to lose. They are willing to sacrifice their most valuable assets with the hope of winning. A story was told of a young man in my community who used his only son for gambling because he was so addicted that he can't do without gambling in a day. he can do anything when it comes to gambling. I also know people who are wealthy today through gambling. So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?

I am interested to know which one is wealthy through gambling except casino owners as beside them I don't know anyone else. The addiction is absolutely wrong as addiction only brings misery and more misery and as I said I know no one which was addicted and made a wealth out of gambling addiction.Sacrificing your only son is the most iconic pinnacle of stupidity when it comes to human logic yet I don't blame that much this guy although the fault was all his for the simple reason that gambling addiction leaves no room to the healthy logic or cold headed thinking.

If I were in power in the government such persons that are known that have done such horrible things are to get arrested and put to jail, this way we do two goods to the community, one stupid gestures are spared and second in jail they may be forget about gambling.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell me the unexpected problems you've encountered in a casino? on: June 04, 2024, 10:19:29 AM
I haven't encountered a single problem in most reputable casinos I have played. The reason is simple and that is I have always done KYC up to level 2 at least, never used a VPN,never cheated and never use multi accounts.I pointed all these things here for the simple reason that I want to say as long as someone abide by the rules unexpected problems won't happen and in the rare case they do then I am 100% sure that is going to be solved in the fastest possible way exactly for this reason, you have abided by the rules.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 04, 2024, 08:57:05 AM
I think that Real Madrid with the signing of 5 years contract with Mbappe will greatly enhance their chances to win the Champions League not only for 2025 but for many years to come as they managed to beat Manchester City without Mbappe this season that just ended,I don't see any stronger team than them as of yet, every other team is easily beaten by such a great team like Real Madrid. For me Mbappe was the only missing part to the puzzle in making Real Madrid an almost impossible to beat team.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you understand entertainment? on: June 03, 2024, 08:55:29 PM
In the topic of gambling, I often see the word "entertainment". Nevertheless, each user means some meaning by this. Many people believe that entertainment is the main driving force of any gambling. And many even believe that entertainment is a much more physiological need than, for example, a desire to get rich. If you initially set yourself the goal only to have fun, and limit the amount that you are ready to take a chance, then you play for the sake of entertainment, and not because of the thirst for profit. You risk less. But if you ask you what entertainment is for you, then this question will be at a dead end. They do not know what entertainment is. Wikipedia writes that this is activity for pleasure.
But I see in this a certain cognitive activity, only with poorly formulated goals. For example, you play in order to understand the laws of the game over time and learn to win more often.
Or maybe entertainment for you is something else?

Entertainment for me surely is not spinning the reels in vain just to have some fun.Entertainment for me needs to bring on at least some adrenaline and I believe most people it is what they perceive as entertainment.I know that many people start gambling just for fun but this escalates pretty quickly in not being fun anymore. The lost sessions one after one even they are started as a "fun" session bring on some rage as it is impossible for the human being to not have emotions,it is deep in our DNA to live by emotions and as such we cannot really control well when losing money becomes a constant mentally draining business.

Therefore surely entertainment is not losing money and I doubt anyone feels entertained when he for example has lost all his per-allocated bankroll for his gambling activities,I know for sure that no one is entertained by losing money.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: June 03, 2024, 08:21:38 PM
There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

As far as one can afford loss and doesn't hamper his life financially, he can go and gamble for fun. But keep gambling everyday just not to miss a luck day is stupid act. What if he finally wins in 31st dec losing all year from 1st of jan to 30th of dec? Is that win even worthy? Can he wins back what he lost at least in just one win losing all year? Winning amount most probably will be just a small fraction of what he would have lost. So one should gamble with responsibly and for fun with the amount he could afford even with loss.
This is definitely stupid behavior.
However, I would point out that I do not understand what makes quite a lot of people play completely thoughtlessly.  That's probably just how their brains are wired.  Sometimes such players don’t even keep track of how long they play, and don’t even keep track of how much money they’ve already lost.  And such people generally do not pay attention to criticism from their close relatives and ignore any comments from these relatives.  And these guys, with such disgusting and irresponsible behavior, say that they know what they are doing, although in general everyone understands that they are simply losing, and often even more than the family budget can allow.

I think there are many such players.  I would call them overly gamblers.  And they are of course excellent clients for any casino.

Those who already have a gambling addiction tend to be very sensitive individuals, especially when discussing their gambling activities. And the thing that makes me less understanding about their behavior and personality, even though they often experience losses and lose a lot of money because of gambling, when other people try to remind them or just give advice, they always deny it and often even look for justifications for the stupid things they do when they do it. was in a gambling game.

And I have to admit, it is quite difficult to be able to make someone aware of their bad behavior in gambling, even though that person is someone closest to us. even though what I did was just to show that I cared about him, but what I couldn't stop thinking about was, when I tried to make him aware, the person actually hated me back.

There is not much to understand in a situation where we have a close person to us that has lost his mind as only people who lose their minds become ill addicted. In such case the only good thing to do is to talk and keep talking to them,it will not come in the first discussion with them,we need to insist until we achieve two things from such persons, the first one is the most positive case where the persons by talking openly about it start to quit gambling little by little, these cases are extremely rare so we move to the second case and that is we finally convince them to go to gambling rehab centers,we continue to talk to them and explain them that no one has achieved anything great or good from gambling in the long run.

There is no shortcut to quitting gambling,I am trying from quite some time and some results I can see,I don't gamble weekly now,I have gone from weekly to bi-weekly or even more without gambling.Consistence is key,is better to make a small step every day as they say 365 days x 1.01 is better than 365 x 1.00 meaning small steps are better than making no steps at all toward your goal,in this case quitting gambling.

18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Committing mistakes helps us to become a responsible gambler. on: June 03, 2024, 06:54:24 PM
From my experience in gambling and trust me as I have over 20 years experience in gambling since early 2000-s,the only thing which will help you and many others become a responsible gambler is the lack of money at your disposal to gamble. There is a disproportion in the sense that the more money you have the less of a responsible gambler you are,the less money you have the more responsible gambler you become.

I also know the stories of those people knowing no limits, getting money from other people, lending from the bank, not paying bills and rent and losing all these money into gambling, for those the only recovery if it will ever work is professional help, these are addicted persons who know no limits to their gambling habits.I am talking about normal people and for these normal people the less money at your disposal the better of a gambler you become.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a legal jurisdiction backing up gamblers against the casino oppression? on: June 03, 2024, 04:21:50 PM
I don't know such a jurisdiction for such oppression and I doubt that the reputable casinos can use such tactic, the reason is simple, they have enough money to pay even big whales, the only time when they can stop a player is when they can validate that the user has made a violation for real. The thing I do to avoid being in such place, meaning a casino to wrongfully use oppression against me is to play only in reputable casinos where they have a big ANN thread here and in there you will see most of the feedback and reviews are positive, that is for me the only way to stay out of such wrongful oppression.

Anyone can achieve this by only playing in these reputable casinos and not thinking of such scenarios where the casino without evidence to tell you that you have cheated on them,in no way the reputable casinos will resort to such actions,so it is easy, keep playing in the reputable ones.
