1  Economy / Economics / Re: Hi Excuse me Are currencies a "store of value on: January 23, 2020, 10:11:47 PM
Fiat is no value store at all, but gold is the world's best value store event, when compared to bitcoin. Gold loses its value from time to time but that's very rare and manipulative, normally gold is scarce and there's not enough gold in the world to spend at the rate that we keep spending, people think gold is only used to store wealth and sometimes accessories, but there's stuff in technology that uses gold as well, hell there's gold in every computer even if it's super tiny.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $5k? Tone Vays on: January 20, 2020, 09:02:15 PM
Nothing is confirmed yet that's all speculations and nothing more no one really knows if bitcoin will go down to that level, but if bitcoin doesn't manage to close its weekly candle in or above the key support then we should expect a bearish movement to occur most likely and the price could dump all the way up to the $5000 levels. It will also act as an opportunity to buy in the lows, however. I wish it drops that much so that i could pick up some cheap corn.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: January 19, 2020, 10:37:00 PM
I was trading from work before, I was essentially trading at home all day and at work I was watching price most of the times, but there were so many openings and if I didn't trade I would have to miss going to work. When I didn't trade there, I would have to leave work absolutely. Basically, after two days of trading I doubled my btc holdings at that time. I suppose either I've taken the next day off or it's been the weekend. I've been sleeping for more than 2 days. I traded from work  and nobody said anything because there was no rule against it and I was doing it.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips for Traders here on: January 19, 2020, 10:05:32 PM
Be vigilant about the advice the other one offers you, just trust yourself and it's going to be all right. If you follow the advice of the other self-proclaimed gurus, there are times you will lose money. False information is available throughout the internet, so be cautious about the tips of the others. If you're still following the others ' advice, make sure it can help you and it won't get you down.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins a definite solution against a bear market? on: January 19, 2020, 09:40:54 PM
I don't think stablecoin is a good solution in the bear market because we can swap it with real dollars, btcs and altcoins in some exchange. So while crypto price is still affected by many things, I recommend that you don't keep your stablecoins as an asset. If you want your investment to recover, then go all in the real dollar. If you still want to maintain a stable coin as an asset, what if some country release a new law to shut off that stable coin, then who can guarantee that you can get your money back.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: January 19, 2020, 09:10:17 PM
It's too easy to say that the bull run is coming, but look at the price right now, it's not even on the $10k mark, I guess it would only take a miracle this year to get back to the $10k mark. To be frank, I've heard this phrase all the time and it seems that most people spread it to raise the excitement but unfortunately it wouldn't be enough, bitcoin is very volatile and new investors would question it with today's price so we can't really guarantee that raising the hype would lead to a bull run.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 19, 2020, 08:51:04 PM
No, I don't think that way. Honestly, no matter how it looks now, I think it's the most lucrative and less risky long-term investment in Bitcoin. But it all depends on circumstances, when you purchased Bitcoin exactly and how long you kept it and when you sold it. So, to my mind, not every decision has its background and should be estimated on the basis of circumstances valid at the time.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the cryptocurrency market starting to improve slowly? on: January 19, 2020, 12:24:25 AM
I think the digital currency industry is evolving quite well. There is indeed a downturn in certain markets, such as participation in ICO ventures. But some sectors like the volume of trading are growing, thus, I'm expecting positive moves in the future. We just have to wait and I'm optimistic that the cryptocurrencies market will increase significantly in the coming years.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: January 19, 2020, 12:03:10 AM
Well, two types of altcoins exist. Next are those who have bigger caps but don't really have any real-life use intent and the other category of altcoins focused on advanced tech, exceptional privacy features and many other good things that many people don't even know about. On those low cap coins that are young, I'm expecting an altseson and have the potential to turn the tables and make history. Hopefully it will make us money.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: January 18, 2020, 11:26:02 PM
Altcoins can never be alone or make their own increase and decrease in value without bitcoin because BTC, which is the only coin that dominate the value of all cryptocurrency coins in digital space. All of the other coins depend on it and that's how it will continue to be forever. Because bitcoin is the king. It bitcoin pumps in the future then you can expect all the crypto to rise a lot.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One on: January 17, 2020, 10:56:49 PM
The thing about halving is that it increases the mining complexity, because supply is still reducing the market the same way. That will inevitably lead to price rises, even if it's a little bit. And with idea and people looking forward to it so that they can make some profit from it, they are starting to invest and buy more bitcoin and keep. And that contributes to a possible price rise as well. So even if halving doesn't add anything or drastically change the price, it provides an incentive for people to push them to spend more and buy more bitcoin so that they can benefit from it and that leads to price increases.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: January 17, 2020, 10:22:04 PM
Our emphasis should not be to try to make money, but to avoid losing money. Many were so focused on making money that they were in a terrible position when the market started collapsing, and instead of acknowledging their losses and moving on, they were in denial and decided to keep keeping worthless coins with terrible results. They would have much more money if they managed to cut the losses early and jump in at the bottom.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: January 17, 2020, 09:49:30 PM
In this situation, you need to be more patient to wait for Bitcoin's highest price, to cover half of your losses, even benefiting from it, not just returning capital. I guess you've got to wait with Bitcoin halving, maybe after that we'll see Bitcoin's price increase after halving in the next year. Don't smash your logic with impatience. Everybody deep in their heart knows that sooner or later, bitcoin will flow.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: January 17, 2020, 09:15:05 PM
Bitcoin's long bull market means a long bear market for altcoins until the price of BTC at one stage is stable. The altcoins follow the BTC price, and altcoin's reaction happens faster, which depends on the few variables such as investors selling altcoins and converting their money to BTC. And fresh money comes into the crypto markets and that money goes directly to the BTC market. So probably the next year we will see big increase in price.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 15, 2020, 08:57:34 PM
It will always be crypto and even in the near future I didn't intend to use fiat in online gambling. One explanation is the rule. There's no specific law in our country regarding crypto gambling, so I'm pretty safe from regulation, despite how much I've played or earned. I'm still unfamiliar with using fiat gambling site. What if they need KYC that I'm ignoring or they're unlawfully operating that might smear my clean reputation. So when you have online gambling operation, choosing crypto is the best thing to do.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: January 05, 2020, 03:07:02 PM
If at this time everyone is afraid that Bitcoin never hitting ATH, for me, as long as its all-time low doesn't get lower than ever, the market is in a good condition. We are always hoping for the good market price, to be precise, a sudden price increase that we call the bull run, but as long as we persuade people to adopt cryptocurrency, we have nothing to fear. The growth of market prices may be sluggish, but it would certainly make the all-time low higher every year. I'm probably suggesting staying for a long time with this.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: January 04, 2020, 12:24:44 AM
Cryptocurrencies definitely have some benefits over flat currencies, such as the fact that they are not bank-controlled or limited and government-dependent, but there is still a long way to go until we can conclude that Crypto is better than Flat. In the physical world, flat currencies are easier, faster and better to use in almost every situation, so in my opinion we will continue to use flat currencies until BTC or any other coin gets full acceptance from all the different markets.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin: The path to $10,000,000 ten million dollars per coin on: January 01, 2020, 08:10:20 PM
That's right. Returns are not assured, there has never been. Past performance does not ensure future returns, they appear to rhyme instead. I mean, if you look at the stock market as a whole, the average returns over the past few decades are consistent, but again, there is no guarantee that the future will do the same. It seems inevitable that it will. Bitcoin is just ten years old. Quite modern, quite grown-up. Don't gamble more than you can afford to lose, as you can go to zero.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is difficult to accept in countries on: January 01, 2020, 06:35:58 PM
It is true that Bitcoin is very hard to be accepted by most countries around the world, because Bitcoin is widely regarded as illegal activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing, human trafficking, and so on. Another reason the government finds it hard to accept Bitcoin because it is considered to threaten the existence of fiat and banks. I always hope that all countries in the world will be able to accept and legalise Bitcoin, this possibility is still wide open. Every year, even the countries that accept bitcoin are rising.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: January 01, 2020, 04:30:39 PM
Two things I've learned in gambling are one discipline in stopping. Some gamblers may have a hard time stopping, particularly when they keep on winning, but in my case I can stop when I need it, particularly when I have already achieved my target. Second, how to bank my money, others will keep their funds in their banks, but in my case I have learned how to transfer my money to my bitcorn wallet to protect my earnings and hold my resources in my account.
