1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurency: What Is The End Game? on: June 01, 2017, 12:57:08 PM
Ripple and Stellar are not decentralized cryptocurrencies. These are Corporation coins, exposed to the risk of massive monetary inflation.

New altcoin-scams will continue to emerge as long as premine and similar scam techniques will work. The end for most of these coins is clear: They will become untradable and disappear. That's it.
Though it is definitely not a scam. The fact that people actually it might inflate over the long time doesn't mean that it can't be beneficial. Also just look at ethereum, it also doesn't have a cap to which it can be mined, but no one is calling it a scam, then why would we think that ripple is a scam? To be honest I'm putting money into ripple because I believe it will grow
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: A realistic bitcoin price in a year on: May 31, 2017, 07:14:45 PM
So difficult to guess, I never would have thought 12 months ago that the proce would be $22xx today.
I will join in any way for a bit of fun & say $3250
Of course it is possible at the moment because the speculators are just throwing their money into it willing to make huge profit. But I wouldn't be surprised if the price would start going down significantly to like 1800 dollars till the end of the year, because the price is way too high for this time. Also there were no real reason why would the price go up, no technical improvement in the code, nothing.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin charts == Déjà vu on: May 30, 2017, 09:48:43 PM
Yup, those are accurate for bitcoin, always the same scenario happening, and the fact that the price is still so high means that the price of the bitcoin is going to keep on dropping at a fast pace in the upcoming week. Also it is even more likely because all the investors came from china speculating what means that the only purpose they put in money into bitcoins and other cryptos was to make profit. Sadly we will see a huge bubble pop pretty soon.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 BTC = 250x fees then you will remain with 0 BTC on: May 30, 2017, 08:20:29 PM
Fees are not that big lol, fees are still small at this stage of bitcoins fees are getting higher yes but it will not reach 5$ fees or higher than what you are indicating its part of growing and its not a negative sign
Say whatever you want, but the fees are massive nowadays, just imagine if you want to send something small like 0.001 bitcoin that you got from small transactions. The transaction size would be way bigger than just 250 bytes. Take into consideration for example 3 times bigger transaction. So basically if 250 byte transaction costs about 1.25 usd, to send over 0.001 from like 5 smaller transactions in your address you would have to pay 3.75 dollars. That's insane, the fee would be like twice as big as the actual money sent.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: user to user betting on: May 29, 2017, 11:04:50 PM
any sites out and around that are popular?

Im looking to do micro betting on outcomes we can deem are guaranteed fair and not relying on knowing how to verify provably fair.
there are some sites offering this thing like primedice where you can bet against other players instead of the house edge. Also in poker you can play against real people and it doesn't require any provably fair system. However, as far as I'm aware there are no gambling websites that would allow the sports bets or other types of gambling against other players.

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: September 29, 2016, 11:43:11 PM
Of course it is. As long as the word "betting" of money is involve it is called gambling on whatever you do. I know there are people that would say that it's not but the truth is, it really is.
it is definitely gambling in my opinion, though sports might be easier to win sometimes to be honest
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 29, 2016, 11:42:25 PM
The only thing that I can think of is by just go out and looking for a other hobby that is going to help you for sure if you manage to find the right one for you.
If that does not help then you will have to get some help from a professional.

I guess that is the primary concern that OP is facing right now. It is very easy to say that you have to go out and find another hobby but the problem there is how he is going do to it because in reality it really isn't that easy.
His facing some problem with gambling as the OP said but if he wants really to quit gambling for good then he shouldn't in gambling anymore find some hobby that he can do or repair their house plant some vegetable at your back of the house then chilx.

But the thing there is how possible it is. Especially if OP is being hook up by gambling too much as advice i think if the problem is really fatal OP should take first a good advice from the professionals
In that matter when the addiction is really serious, it is better to be bankrupt so he can realize that what he is doing is not right.

You have your own opinion but i think that if you can still get away from it before getting drawn too much then i would rather go for that one. I think that only applies to those gamblers who never really learned their lessons
well then it applies for all the gamblers in my opinion because all gamblers never learn from their lessons
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling. on: September 29, 2016, 11:41:05 PM
Stopping with gambling can be done, I would let your friends help you to social control you and also believe self in it, if you do that I'm pretty sure that you will succeed with stopping with it.

It is possible to exit from gambling. But it would be very difficult if they don't entirely want to get out of gambling or did they get addicted in gambling. so it is something that should be done will be greatly hindered to succeed. If you want to get out of gambling, eliminate all thoughts about gambling and enlisted the help of family or friends to control our activities
well everything is possible to be honest, in my opinion it would be really hard to quit it if you are addicted
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In gambling, Money is more important than knowledge and luck on: September 29, 2016, 11:38:44 PM
Yes that's right money is the main important thing you should have before dealing with gambling but it is useless if you don't enough and proper knowledge as well as the luck Your money is always relying on these two things . gambling can be profitable but only in a few times .

gambling is indeed something that could give us an advantage, but gambling is also a place that can give us the defeat or huge losses. If you choose to use gambling as a place to look for money then you have to try hard, because gambling is dangerous
it can give you a lot of advantages if you are really lucky but most probably you will lose all money
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: September 29, 2016, 11:35:50 PM
Gambling helped me with my life nohow. For me gambling is just fun and the way for spending time. Of course when I grown enough I started to gamble with money, but till now I didn't make any big bets, so there is no loosing and winning big money for me, cause of even today gambling is just kind of fun to me.
it has never helped me with my life to be honest, it is the worst thing you can do because you would lose
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 27, 2016, 11:57:38 PM
It's complicated to earn steady income from bitcoins as price fluctuations will never help you in reaching there, to make it really steady.
price doesn't matter that much. the main problem is there is no any good and long term job..
if you earn a good amount of bitcoin then the small price drop won't affect your earning..
like if you earn 1BTC a month. and bitcoin price is 600$. if it drop to 590$ then there no any big deal/difference...
of course the price does not matter that much right now for me, im just holding bitcoins and i will hold no matter what
19  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: September 27, 2016, 11:57:04 PM
Earning money with bitcoin is just earning bitcoin since bitcoin is money. Anyways you can try trading if you like big profit and a challenge or you can check services too to see if you can do something for people

Trading is obviously one of the best methods of earning bitcoins but for that someone would probably need a good enough capital and some knowledge as well, though knowledge can be gained by reading but the capital is not something that you can get from anywhere, so trading is not for those who are new to bitcoin and just starting with it or maybe it can be for them if they can buy bitcoins.
it is the best method to be honest, i think it can earn you really easy money over time if you do it often
20  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 27, 2016, 11:56:34 PM
To get rich you need to be at the right place and time, there is no step by step guide for getting rich i suppose. My plan is to make as much bitcoin as I can and hope for the best.

For getting rich every time is best and every place is best but the only thing required is your hard work and your positive thinking and planning.
I think being rich is easy if you go according to the plan you've made, but man can not be disciplined and consistent with the plans they have made. they always out of the track. you have to do is work hard and continue to be consistent in the pathway plan. therefore make a plan as good and detailed as possible, I believe you would be rich

you are right, first of all you need to make a decent plan that would allow you to make some decent money
