1  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you put your investment motto in one sentence when you enter the cryptocurre on: February 02, 2021, 06:58:35 AM
No matter how the currency market goes up or down, we always have a dim idea in our mind. Maybe, it is the idea that supports us. Now, it is time to clarify the idea and share it with the public.
Hmmm I guess it is "Never FOMO buy/sell", or in other words - You should be able to determine which one of your decisions was bad, but you can't do that if you blindly follow the trend
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Peter helping bitcoin pump? on: December 02, 2020, 09:04:49 AM
I mean he just tweets about bitcoin so often. He may be thinking that he is guiding his followers out of bitcoin but what he could be doing is making them more curious that they will eventually buy like his son did. Bad publicity is still publicity eh?
Its not always like this - if you're talking shit over small service/technology/company/etc its going to hurt them badly.
But if they're big enough - it works exactly as you put it "Bad publicity is still publicity"
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle stress? on: November 01, 2020, 06:56:36 AM
Stress is almost inevitable to humans as we don’t get tire of working, pursuing goals and discharging our daily activities. So here is the question, HOW DO YOU HANDLE STRESS?
Meditating. Thats the remedy for me - it helps work through stress, get rid of it afterwards and moreover it changes your brain chemistry in way for you to be more calm on daily basis
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell ERC20 coins? on: September 30, 2020, 05:12:54 AM
Just like what the tittle say Where can I sell ERC20 coins? like etherdelta back on the days. It's been years since I last sell some coins so I forgot the sites where I sold them. Just want to ask if there are still good sites to sell ERC20 coins like etherdelta. TIA
The most obvious answer would be uniswap of course, they have a shit ton of alts and erc tokens, but fees are not really pleasant
Its also quite secured since you can't even hold funds in it, there is no way to create an account in there - it just links to your wallet
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: August 26, 2020, 07:21:16 AM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
What is "beat the market" for you? Bitcoin is on the first place, sure. But does it bring same value as ethereum to crypto industry at the moment? Hell no.
Bitcoin started the whole thing, but it struggles to continue push forward, so I think its rolling down the hill slowly.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin & altcoins? on: August 15, 2020, 07:36:06 AM
we can guess it is a whale game or it is a pure hike, so I see this is indeed an increase but it is not maximal in any case. So maybe I think it should take a little longer to get to the top to prove that it's not a temporary pump from the whales
It will take a bit more of consistent grow to convince most of people that crypto market is somehow reliable and worth a try.
This is when the actual pump will happen
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash Is Trash on: August 02, 2020, 09:37:53 AM
cash is the same as trash?
it's the words of people who don't believe in the current financial system. if we observe the value of money is always changing and even tends to be often affected by inflation. however, any rubbish can still be used, therefore when Ray Diallo said "Cash is Trash" he also used "cash" for buy something. look funny? Cheesy
Yeah right, but I would rather think of this phrase as metaphor - we can use anything as cash as long as most of the people do agree to use it this way
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: July 27, 2020, 08:00:49 PM
I think most people approach crypto in the wrong way. With "get rich quick" approach.
If you come to crypto with such an attitude, you should never ever invest.
On the other hand, if you actually had to earn it while doing whatever you are usually doing anyway, that involves money?
Examples:
You get crypto as a token of gratitude after making donation to some project. (crowdfunding)
or
You are paid crypto as a bonus to your salary.
Wouldn't the whole cryptoworld be way more healthy? What do you think about it?
You're probably right. I think the core of the problem is - cryptocurrency is just another way of storing value and making transactions, so... currency.
And as any other currency it has its own fluctuations of a price and that's healthy - its just a matter of demand and supply.
But people treat crypto like its casino or sport bets and that is not the case (both of these actually won't lead you to easy money, but thats whole another story).
So in my opinion main goal of crypto community at the moment should be educating everyone around about what is actually happening
9  Economy / Economics / Re: China economy and how they handle Covid-19. on: July 11, 2020, 01:10:50 PM
How China stopped the spread of virus so easily when every country is struggling, they simply stopped saying it to the world, nothing more.No one can find what is the actual situation inside China, what their communist media report is the only thing we know. And also now there are more doubts occurs related to where this virus originated, Taiwan reported there is some kind of spread in Spetember itself but China denies it along with WHO.
Agreed, we don't actually know if China really did handle things, because of their media being controlled by govs
At least we can try to follow their steps
I honestly am not sure if any other country tried that hard to maintain the virus + be aware of 2 factors:
1) they are "ahead" of other countries with couple months
2) they've had no problems with people crossing the borders, because obviously they were the ones to infest others
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: How To Make Extra Money During Quarantine on: July 01, 2020, 05:11:08 AM
If you have no job at all while you're at home - get remote job, it has become way way easier because of the pandemic.
Companies would struggle extremely if they couldn't manage to rely on remote workers fast enough.
So the industry is ready for you to work from home (at least for now)
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: June 27, 2020, 03:06:12 PM
So far I trust cryptocurrency ranking only on the coinmarketcap site, because other than that I still lack trust in cryptocurrency ranking. sometimes people assume crypto ranking based on their own experience without examining detailed studies, especially if there are sites like CCID that say if Bitcoin is the worst value, I don't think this makes sense.
I trust most of the rankings as long as they are open about what are they measuring and how is it calculated.
Chinese ranking does not share this info so I tend to not believe in it
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth so much ? on: June 14, 2020, 12:01:11 PM
Ethereum has virtually unlimited supply while BTC is capped to 21 million coins.
Out of this 18,404,300 BTC are in circulation. If you understand the basic principle of Demand and Supply then it would be easy to grasp this. The demand is heavy for bitcoin while it's supply is limited.
After each 4 years it will go under halving thus reducing its rewards per block, making it more costly to mine for miner. Since it use Energy to mine via miners, the energy required is now more and more.
This is converted into money later when people buy it.
It will keep rising since energy requirements to mine the coin will keep rising throughout the time, and also supply will keep reducing.
Moreover, you get value because investors keep buying it.
Basically - the supply of btc won't ever grow
on the other side demand was growing or at least staying still this whole decade
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: May 31, 2020, 10:00:17 AM
10 years. Moreover, the most difficult time will come in 3 years. This is similar to the Great Depression. But there is a difference from that time - the whole world will be depressed without exception. Well, China has just suffered the least, but the dominant China is also not a pleasant event.
I don't believe we'll meet China as the most dominant country overall in this decade (At least).
But at the moment they have a lot more crypto mine farms so they already centralize some of the cryptos.
I hope this tendency will end
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy re-start 2020 in process 2025 crash on: May 14, 2020, 07:03:32 AM
We will have economy re-start.
Loans will be cheap and Everybody even with Bad poor credit history will Get the loans Again.
Inflation will hit to sky!
But year 2025 Everything will be collapsed.
The Year 2025 is end of the USA dollar!
What is the background of such speculation? I agree with your initial statement where you said that inflation will be high and loans will be cheaper. We have already started seeing that trend and majority of the Central Banks are gearing up to reduce the basic lending rate. This situation is called stagflation. Ideally, when inflation is high, lending rate goes costlier to tackle it. But what is happening currently is called stagflation and it's not easy to get out of this scenario.
However, I don't get the background of your statement when you say that everything will collapse in 2025. What triggered such thought?
I tend t agree with you, can't see where its coming from.
Moreover  I don't think that US banks will Make the same mistake as they did 12 years ago - I believe there will be a concrete bottom for loan prices so they can't go unrealistically low
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about the next alt coin? on: May 04, 2020, 02:33:47 PM
Sorry, but I must say these articles were written for bounty campaign, nothing else! Otherwise, how can you add Hitmex, Optimas Exchange and Blockburn name in this list? Hitmex is totally exit scam, Blockburn scamming with their bounty participants and Optimas has no unique thing to talk about it! It's all waste of time! Well, for other mentioned coins, they are doing better, but sorry no one is capable to be the next big altcoin!
it seems for me like half of these altcoin discussions are about promoting own projects , partially with relatively useful info
really don't know why mods allow these
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto giveaway scams and how to spot them on: April 29, 2020, 07:44:53 AM
Its easy to determine if a giveaway is legit or not. If the giveaway asking to transfer a money before participating then its abvious scam attempt .
Another things is if a giveaway is giving a high return from the asked amount you need to deposit then its the same.
This kind of scheme is not only happening in twitter its also use in other social media such as facebook youtube and telegram.
People are quite used to pay online for some sort of valuable service.
And I assume many of them don't see any difference between paying for netflix or for some of these "profitable" schemes
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobel Laureate asked India to print more money and not to worry about inflation on: April 14, 2020, 05:44:32 AM
The same thing is going to be done by most other governments as well to tackle demand and supply issue in the economy. But this could be an eye opener for all the people who have been trusting the fiat money issued by the governments which is day by day the value of the money we having is going to get decreased so we need something which cannot be printed anymore like bitcoin.
It won't be "eye opener" since fiat economy is not falling.
It is printing more money, it is inflating as hell, but it is not falling and people's faith will remain
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: April 02, 2020, 10:33:19 AM
It is impossible for crypto to replace fiat, because the government will not allow that to happen. I think it's better for both to exist,
because it can complement each other. Because from the first crypto was created not to replace fiat, but to eliminating third parties
such as banks. So financial transactions are more efficient and effective.

first of all, I would like to correct you - it is indeed very hard for crypto to replace current fiat, but that is possible in general.
would it be very profitable for everyone? not now
I believe crypto will take its part of economy slowly, but surely in this decade
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Statistics on: March 31, 2020, 11:54:18 AM
Thanks for sharing! It really is useful! I have to daily monitor the behavior of the market like all who handle Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Every day the tools provide us with better solutions because we are a growing community as evidenced by the images you have published.
I wouldn't say it could replace all analytical tools at once, but it surely does come in handy
thanks op
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: March 19, 2020, 09:42:59 AM
With such rapid drops, now many investors will think even longer and more carefully whether it is worth investing in a cryptocurrency that can turn all their investments into nothing in a day, so we should not expect a fast growth of the cryptocurrency market.
When compared to the decline in stock indexes in several countries, I think the decline in prices and marketcap value is still slightly lower. I think the current price decline is due to a brief panic and it is possible that in the next few weeks the crypto market will recover due to the moment of Bitcoin halving and also the interest of new investors.
Current world situation could lead people to make more wise decision, but that doesn't necessarily means they will invest into crypto tho
