Who's vilifying now? Anyone not totally agreeing with you is disregarded as a team member. Anyone trying to actually discuss anything instead of just agreeing with you, maybe with a different opinion, you just claim are just part of the conspiracy, "in on it"... It's ridiculous. These aren't cryptocurrency guys, they're blue chip, professional silicon valley types. I'm sure to them it was longer term proposition. Mass adoption or not. That's the bet. None of these types of investors were looking for a quick out at Bittrex. To sit and trade a few grand a day on Cryptsy, come on... They don't have time for that, or would never have invested in such a small idea with such minuscule upside. They must have seen the opportunity for mass adoption, taken a calculated risk and that's what their bet is. If neucoin gets millions of users and an upward growth curve of mainstream users and integrated with more and more games etc, if that happens they will make 100X or 1000X their money. If it doesn't they won't make anything. Daytrading coins at this level to make 10 grand become 20 isn't what guys like that do.

But come on now, off course it's better! Paranoid fud about "scam scam scam" all over the place is just a little silly. It just doesn't make sense. No sane person believes it. And it clouds a more constructive debate about the actual project, inflation and user adoption etc all the stuff that's really interesting. Whether it works or it doesn't it's an interesting approach and it's targeting new segments. It isn't until we see more consumer applications and partnerships launched that we will know if it will fly or not.

A lot of crowdsale buyers wanted, and still want to, cash out while they can make a profit. As long as the price is higher than the crowdsale price that's only natural. The long game is in staking and seeing if neucoin delivers on acquiring huge user numbers. That's really what this is all about. Will they succeed at mass adoption or not?

Dude, it's simply not a scam. Period. That's just what trolls around here think it's fun to keep saying. There's a lot of fud and paranoia here but go read up on Neucoin.org, check out the online wallet... to any normal, sane person, it simply isn't a scam.

Bad idea? Maybe. But for sure not a scam. Personally I think it's a good idea. It's different. They're trying to reach millions of consumers in new ways. Completely different ways than earlier coins. Games, social, etc. Getting mainstream users to try it and rewarding third party companies that help make the ecosystem useful. The distribution and inflation is part of that strategy and of course should be factored into the price. But it's not really about the price right now - it's about acquiring a shitload of users. If they succeed it will be worth a lot. If the don't succeed it won't. Only time will tell. Simple as that.

As long as the price is over the crowdsale price, meaning early buyers can make a good profit (still 10-25% on their investment in just a few months), there will naturally be a lot of sale pressure from crowdsale buyers selling parts of their holdings, selling all and buying it back later, or even just plain selling and making a profit. Sit tight. This is about mainstream user adoption and utility, and growth will come from PoS and steady organic growth in user numbers. Traders can trade all they want - the real value of this thing is in the games, the social media, the mainstream user adoption. If that comes neucoin will have a ton of value. If it doesn't it come, the it won't. Just sit tight.

Nah, the growth accounts are basically just extremely user friendly mining pools - a way to get mainstream users to do something they would never do otherwise. It's supposed to be fun and easy and fit the mobile gaming crowd. part of neocoin's user adoption strategy.

Anyone who wants to (and knows how to) can mine on their own and earn full PoS rewards. That's for the crypto pros who want to maximize.

Growth accounts are just for consumers who would never get involved with client mining anyways. That's for the mobile game playing masses who just want plug and play.

super easy is super important. NEU is targeting mobile games and social media. not crypto.

it's a good list. I use cryptsy and I like it. but probably important to have china covered as well.

i also like the focus on mobile gaming first, is a great idea... if they can pull it off it is a huge opportunity. everyone is playing games on their phone and so many games already have virtual tokens - so i think people would be ready.

giving NEU to game developers to integrate is great. maybe they should allocate even more to that.

What i like about the distribution plan is that new adopters who wants NEU for free should feel like they have earned it, instead of feeling like - I got it for free and dump it for nothing.
