5  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: November 25, 2018, 10:47:57 AM
The market starts scaring the shit out of me. What the hell is wrong with the cryptocurrency market? What on earth is going on in the cryptocurrency market? I used to justify the recent market crash as a 'fake dump' but now it starts freaking me out! So, where do you guys think is the next bus stop for bitcoin? I'm thinking isn't this beyond 'hash wars' or Bakkt launch fake dump by the whales?

It might be hurting your or anybody's portfolio, but it is an opportunity, isn't it? Bitcoin hasn't been that cheap since September of the last year. If you believe there is a value in Bitcoin, simply buy  Wink

yes, basically, this, I have been buying lately, not madly, just buy more as it goes down, I hold a long term view on this, although something is not right with the market, I guess its a cataclysm of many factors and cannot be finger pointed to one thing, I did buy a bit at the 6k mark, but I never put in what I can afford to lose, it will pay off, might take most of my life but it will get there lol.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Squall Coin NO IPO, RE-LAUNCH,PLEASE READ OP, HIRING! on: November 21, 2018, 02:27:26 PM
sorry, guys, I am just not getting any support or help, no one want to get out of bed for less than 100 bucks a hour, I don't have enough funds for that, so I need real help or I have some people offering to buy the project form me, this can still be salvaged, I am just not sure how, or if anyone wants this too.

if you want to help either way, let me know.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] bitcointalk.club, Join the club and support your coin. on: November 21, 2018, 02:21:55 PM
due to lack of support this web DNS has been sold, the new owner plans to re-launch this project, I hope they had more support than I did.

please explain this?

Either way in the end your rating will mean nothing.

No, I think the rest of the community will be delivering that particular message to you.

everyone is welcome to their opinion, I have no problem with that, I will read and respond to whatever messages I get, I have all ready gotten some :-)
9  Economy / Reputation / Re: My side, please read, TECSHARE on: November 19, 2018, 11:59:44 PM
I was trying to give you an opportunity to save face by messaging you privately before I made a post over it. I guess it was my mistake thinking you would have calmed down a bit and thought this through, instead you proceed to pre-emptively rip your own face off so I can't do it. Mission accomplished?

Also I told you not to contact me further in private because I am not naive enough to believe you would see that this was an overreaction, and any further replies of mine would easily be taken out of context and blown out of proportion... pretty much exactly what you just did.

It is irrelevant if you think 1 second (it was actually 2 seconds BTW) was a big deal. Offering an auction is a formation of a contract, one that is activated upon the first bid. You deciding to arbitrarily extend the auction time limit is in violation with your agreement of the bidders. This is what I was politely trying to warn you about, instead you turned a friend into an enemy, and completely exposed yourself. Good job.

yes right... ok, it was only one second on the timestamp, and that user even said he clicked on post before the time was up, yes I should have put on "no sniping" or even questioned it, I even asked you if you have never made a mistake? I made a call on MY auction, I err'd on the side of the internet and I had no problem reversing the situation, as I have all ready posted the goods out to the "real" winner

but you have missed the point of this thread entirely, you threatened me to remove your rep, I had to explain the whole situation here so people were caught up properly, why not talk it over and message me calmly instead of the short temper burst, that's why this is here, another user asked me to remove rep on the thread, but when I logged on, I read that and your PM at the same time so I did not remove it.

as you say, good job.

I see, so now I have to explain how time and time zones work? If the last second you can bid is 7:59, where did that extra second come from?

0. 7:59
1. 8:00
2. 8:01

Also the fact you read my message as well as the request to remove the rating at the same time is an artifact of you living in the UK while I live in the US. I guess that is my fault too right?

You can still turn this around buddy. Or keep doubling down. I don't really care. Either way in the end your rating will mean nothing.

yes, your right, it is 2 seconds. and no, I have never said where anyone lives is a problem.

please explain this?

I did not care the value was alot, It was explained it was a typo anyway, but I would have accepted the bid
If you do not care value then why you will take the bid which has made after the end of the auction? It is not a fact how much time that is (either 1 second or 1 day). And I think it is totally unfair.

because I considered it a valid bid, lag does not take one day, thats the difference.
You cant consider anyone as valid if that is of rules. If you want to consider anyone as valid on your own way, then there is no reason to make auction. If you consider 1 second then someone may consider 1 minute, then someone can consider 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week etc. Anyway, don't mind if I am wrong. As it is open discussion that's why giving my opinion.

and I appreciate opinions, I welcome them, but in my world one second does not escalate, I would not accept a bid 1 min or there after on any of my auctions.

in my opinion only I was offended by TECSHARE, that's why I neg rep them, then I was threatened, this is simple in my book, I could have been shot down for forcing someone to honor a 1 btc bid and I would accept the wrath, but threatening behavior OF ANY kind on this forum is not allowed. that's why I posted the whole story up.

I hope I have explained my position a little better, I welcome any more questions.

hiya, this might be better in "computer hardware" section, also you might need to read up on forum escrow and decide if you will use it, it will help your sales alot.

best.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a crypto newcomer , where should I start? on: November 19, 2018, 11:15:45 PM
firstly, welcome :-)

glad to see you have bought some all ready but I can understand your hesitation, as someone who has watched many coins come and go over the years, the best advice ~I can give is, do not rush in buying or selling, the price on many coins swing ALOT and make you panic sell when it goes lower, in retrospect its better to watch the market your interested in before you buy, but right now, you can either cut your losses and sell, as I am not sure when it will recover, or hold on, as I we all suspect it will recover at some point, so depends if you need this money or not, I would consider getting some BTC as price is low right now, I must warn you it can go lower, but can also get alot higher if you can wait, but never put in more than you can afford to loose, I guess consider it a gamble.

I know its not very definitive what I have said, but every market is very volatile, you need to be in it for the long haul really, trade safe and enjoy the ride :-)
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: TOR Browser irrelevent? on: November 19, 2018, 11:04:59 PM
yes, you are all right, tor is not 100% secure, any intermediate/advanced coder could do a trace and work out backwards, but they have to know where to start, I use tor when I am not on my own network as I don't want other wireless networks to know where I am going, that's all, I don't use it to try and hide behind permanently.

as for if the government is watching/tagging is another story, and depends if you ware a tin foil hat or not lol.

can people please stop PM'ing me about this, please post here and make it all public, thank you, but to address some questions, no, I did not neg rep because other people were venting at me, my comments only represent how I felt towards this user, and secondly, I have not and will not try and communicate to someone who has told me not to, even if a simple chat will sort it out, I have not closed the dorrs, they have, and made that quite clear, thank you.
17  Economy / Reputation / Re: My side, please read, TECSHARE on: November 19, 2018, 09:28:31 PM
I explain myself lower down, but TECSHARE made a comment that was offensive to me, so I neg rep him, I was not rude, just my experience and point of view, I was dissapointed in this user, I had no problems before hand, but something was not right with his attitude.

What was the comment that was so offensive?  I only see him pointing out where the >50% increase in the auction bid was made after the auction ended.  What would you consider a fair amount of time after an auction ends that no more bids can be made?  You don't explain your side very well.

yeah sure I will explain more, when I seen the bid that was one second over, I just took it as lag, I have used tor a few times and I genuinly assumed it was nothing more than that, I did not care the value was alot, It was explained it was a typo anyway, but I would have accepted the bid anyway, the offence was taken when he said I had sold myself out for a few hundred bucks, this (in my opinion and thats all that mattered at the time) was something a seasoned user should not have said, I would have preferred a PM, but I got a few of his fan boys PM'ing me saying how right he was.

did that make anything more clearer, its all stupid really, I would have accepted a dialogue of some sorts, but he just made the comment above in PM

If anyone give negative trust then negative trust receiver may ask for the reason and ask pardon by saying will not happen again. I am surprised, "How a person threats to remove negative trust?".

yeah i am not sure, I have sent the message to mods, and I am seeing what thay advise, I am more surprised to the "I will not respond" part, so the communication is over.
20  Economy / Reputation / My side, please read, TECSHARE on: November 19, 2018, 08:58:55 PM
hiya, all, I started a auction thread please see here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5068066.20

I explain myself lower down, but TECSHARE made a comment that was offensive to me, so I neg rep him, I was not rude, just my experience and point of view, I was dissapointed in this user, I had no problems before hand, but something was not right with his attitude.

I left it at that, then I got an outright threatening message

Giving you till the end of the day to fix your over reaction before I call you out on this... don't reply back because I will not be responding.

The point is, this user is making threats to remove his neg rating, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS.

thank you.
