In response to the OP, the counterfeit detector machines - www.itestcash.com/blogs/itest-university/29790081-the-science-of-counterfeit-money seem like the best way to go for checking money. Some people have reported that the pens  - http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6300 aren't as effective as the machines in part cause the pen mostly checks the ink on the paper while the machines look at various security features including watermarks and security strips.

She does seem kind of shady, I'll say that much.  She seems to have been kind of on the down low lately but they haven't started Democratic debates either yet so that may be part of it. She is a politician though so kind of like others here have said, by being a politician it already brings your trust level down a bit.
