For the first time since using the new wallet, my wallet is stuck on the loading screen and won't allow me to log in. Its the first time it has happened to me so I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem with the wallet just stuck on the loading screen? I have closed it and tried again but the same thing, I even let it sit for 20 minutes or so and then it goes to the city screen and doesn't allow me to log in.
Yes, a couple of people have had the same problem. My only solution was reinstalling the wallet. But you have to delete the folders AmsterdamCoin and AmsterdamCoinNode otherwise the problem persist. I have tried several things but i didn't find another solution. Is someone does find another method let me know...

Any fix for a wallet that just hangs? Version 5.0.0 - says 'Loading' for about 5 minutes, then goes to a black screen. No option to login. Tried reinstalling, no luck.
Thanks, MRD
I did have the same problem, try to delete AmsterdamCoin folder en amsterdamCoinNode folder in User/AppData/Roaming/ Install again and it should work. Make a backup before you start to be sure and save your secret words in a save place For a quick answer you can always find us on Discord https://discord.gg/8DUfng8

Hi, i got stuck in my old wallet ams labeled "Immature" and i can't translate them why?
Is your wallet up to date with the latest block? blockexplorer is down so you cant check right now https://v4.amsterdamblockchain.info/I guess your wallet was staking end then it was closed, maybe now on wrong chain. Try to re-sync if your wallet is stuck. last bootstrap from end of january: http://amsterdamcoin.com/bootstrap.zip

The swap on txbit. is completed. Do not send old AMS to the exchange.

Thanks AmsterdamCoin team, nicely done!

little note: your signature is old .. altho its linking to noavexchange ...
if there is discord orso .. ill gladly hear it ... discord of txbit is not for AMS ...

i have a lot of mining / stakes last few days ?? whats wrong ? almost every 2 minutes i have stakes ...
thus i thought i am at the wrong chain .. so i restart the wallet but now it doesn sync ... again
did i miss something ??
Sometimes you lose connection or windows will update and wallet will be on its own chain, symptoms will be: you get all the stakes or your wallet will not sync. Check the block count in your wallet and here on https://amsterdamblockchain.info/ they have to be the same. If your wallet is on another block count then the explorer, you have to load in the last bootstrap. Kees has made a bootstrap two weeks ago: https://amsterdamcoin.com/bootstrap.zip

New block explorer is live: https://amsterdamblockchain.infoSoon we will have a new wallet like Solaris. The main problem I have is Yobit. They will not cooperate in any way, let alone a brand new wallet with swap. I think we will have to accept that Yobit does not work with us and leave them behind on the old chain. Does anyone have a suggestion about the Yobit problem? ------------------------- Thanks Kees for the update. I was wondering how to solve the Yobit problem. My best guess is that Yobit holds 31 million AMS coins. The second address on the rich list: ASP2X9GLEEvQJx4McNAyYt9qhtuTNzfm6A (31185741.08494085 AMS) I think it would be a big loss if we have to write of our coins on Yobit so I propose we find a solution. The first thing we can do is post how much coins we have in our Yobit wallet, then we have a better sense on how many coins there are. The second option is that everyone make’s a screenshot from their Yobit wallet en sends it to one person who will be responsible for making an overview of all Yobit wallets. We then can refund all people after the swap. The third option I came across is that 1 person put a buy order on yobit at 5 sat. then buys all AMS coins on Yobit. After the swap that one person who bought all AMS coins on Yobit will be refunded by Kees with new coins. Everyone can then buy back their coins at TXbit.io Please share you’re idea’s I have a total of 4,3 Million AMS coins on Yobit in two wallets. I finally have an idea about how we can swap the coins on Yobit. During the swap there will be a special email address, for example: yobit@amsterdamcoin.com, where people can send Yobicodes to swap the AmsterdamCoin that are stucked on Yobit. This way I can send new coins to all people that hold AmsterdamCoin on Yobit. For regular swappers we will be using the swap service on Txbit Exchange like Solaris currently does. That's a great idea Kees, this will help a lot of people out as it seems a lot of the community here have AMS stuck on Yobit. I'm looking forward to the coin swap as I recently took part in the Solaris swap which went smoothly so I'm expecting the same to happen here. Sounds like a perfect solution for Yobit, thanks Kees!

The best thing for Yobit is to fork off and leave them on the old chain. Eventually the old chain and coin will die since no one else will be supporting it, but Yobit will keep the coin alive.
At this time, you'd do best to urge all wallet or coin owners / hodlers to withdraw to their own wallets while they still can. Make an announcement, and on any place where this coin is advertised, make a sticky announcement or pinned message or a bot that constantly reminds people not to buy the coin on Yobit as it is on an old chain.
Yobit will probably keep the coin on their exchange at least several months (or years) after it's dead. Lots of "dead" coins there, where they are still traded and the coin itself has long disappeared.
Thanks for your input, i totally agree with you. But i was just thinking if there is an option to not lose your coins on Yobit. Because everyone with coins on Yobit will have to write off their coins. So i was wondering if there is an option of Kees refunding people who will otherwise lose their ams on Yobit.(you dont lose them but they are worthless ;-)

I check on CMC and coingecko about the total supply is 84M coins but in the blockexplorer it's written that the total supply is 144M are the cmc and coingecko still not updating the total supply of AMS? Yes, cmc and goingecko have not updated since the last wallet update in May 2018. The total supply of AMS coins is 144M

Coinexchange.io is Closing Down 01/10/2019 It is with great regret that we must inform the community that the board of directors of CoinExchange.io has decided to close down the exchange.
This is purely a business decision and there has not been a security breach or any other type of incident. Unfortunately it is no longer economically viable for us to continue offering market services. The costs of providing the required level of security and support now outweigh our earnings.
Trading and deposits will be suspended on the 15th of October 2019. Please cease any deposit and trade activity as soon as possible.
The website and withdrawals will remain operational until the 1st of December 2019. We ask that you please remove all funds by this date.
It has been a fantastic journey and we have enjoyed playing a part in the crypto currency space. We thank everyone that has traded or listed a currency with us.
So sadly it is goodbye for now however we may return in the future if market conditions change.

Yesterday i met with Kees to talk about AmsterdamCoin, we had a great conversation about the plans for AmsterdamCoin in 2019. I wanted to see Kees in person to confirm his commitment and intentions toward AmsterdamCoin. Because since the hack in march last year there has been a lot of selling in the markets and i think a lot of people were nervous about it, including myself. The most important thing in crypto is trust and confidence, so i guess that's what AmsterdamCoin needs at the moment. I see that Kees is serious about making AmsterdamCoin a succes and that's why i wanted to let you know. The coin supply is now approx. 143 million AmsterdamCoins but Kees has still 35 million AmsterdamCoins in premine. AmsterdamCoin will be updated with the latest version of PIVX in the near future and more developments coming.

Hello, Is Keesdewit still the dev of this coin ? If not, who it is ?
I have the same question like yours and it seems there will be some changes from this project but it's fairly quiet . I think that This wallet is not working well at this time . Kees is still the lead dev and the wallet runs smooth and works perfectly

The only two things you need is: the address you where sending your ams to and second the tx id of the transaction. you can find both at your CE account then type this in debug console: signmessage + the ams address you where sending to from CE + tx id example: signmessage AdoW2jz7osstNjz9PFpe1vsVySD9sHqmtu 20a79b32a9cca801b6814577efa007f00495e5ce1e0d72443da74e1b4e66cf9a then you get a string of code that is your signed message For the ones who have lost their withdrawals from CoinExchange during the chain rollback: Please post the: - Transaction ID
- Address
- Signed message *
* Message that is signed with the private key of the address that should have received the coins. The message content must include the transaction ID of the missing transaction. I am trying to reindex my wallet because it crashed at startup but now it's stuck at block 313963. I only have 4 connections. Are there any addnodes?
addnode=nl-1.amsterdamcoin.com:50020 addnode=us-1.amsterdamcoin.com:50020 addnode=us-2.amsterdamcoin.com:50020 addnode=eu-1.amsterdamcoin.com:50020 addnode=eu-2.amsterdamcoin.com:50020 addnode=asia-1.amsterdamcoin.com:50020 And you can see on https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/AMSThank you! I added them and restarted my wallet but it's still stuck at the same block. Any advice? Reindex doesn't always do the job. Try to resync! "Go to "Debug Console" and click on the last tab "portomonee Herstel" You can choose a couple of options like Reindex or Resync. Click on the red bar and the command is given"
