Yep, I should've taken more caution when selling to him.. Another lesson learned.

I have been scammed by this user as well. I sold him BTC in exchange for $106, which he has disputed. I can provide a screenshot to a moderator if necessary.

If your screenshot is as good as the scan of your photo ID...  Roll Eyes

4  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling FAKE NEW Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Tours for 1.75 BTC Each on: May 09, 2012, 09:14:49 PM
Some questions that I hope you can answer for me even though I live in Europe. How easy is it to see that they're fake? Is it visible by the outside? Is the sound quality really different? Also, did you get them through the Chinese sites?

Yeah sure, I can answer.

The black tours are absolutely impossible to differentiate between the real ones. The cable on the white ones is a bit thinner, however they look very similar and are difficult to differentiate without looking closely. The sound quality on both white and black are very good.

As for where I got them from, I have personal relations with a distributor that I have done business with for the past year and a half.

If you are really interested, I can sell you white tours and ship to Europe for 5 BTC

-Nick

Thanks. If I'd order them it would be for reselling in my area so I'd need ones that are exact copies, so then only the black ones would be good for me. Thanks for the offer though, I'll keep an eye on this thread! Who knows I might change my mind

I've been having the same issue as Kingkatari for quite some days now. On two different computers (2 different IPs), on both Chrome and IE.

13  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] Private torrent tracker invites. on: April 10, 2012, 09:24:29 PM
I have a file with all magnet links from Bitsnoop, TPB and Demonoid if that interests you as well. About 20million magnet links.
Hory shet, wonder how much storage all that stuff would take up. And what kind of massive server would be needed to seed them all Grin

The file itself only contains magnet links which means it's very small, it's just a .txt file. I'm not sure if you know how torrents/magnet links work, but that doesn't mean all those torrents are stored on 1 server :p But yes if you would want them all stores it ehm.. take quite a while and quite a big server.
I know how they work, I was just wondering the size of all the files that they linked to.

Ah right I just misunderstood you then, heh. Well, go buy up some servers and try it out! I'll sponsor you a bitcoin for it Cheesy

How does that work? Doesn't eBay require Paypal? Or is that only in the US?

As far as I know he means that you can bid on one of the items here, and pay for it as any other deal on this site. He's only showing his Ebay since the items are already on there and it's easier to tell us what he's selling that way.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: April 10, 2012, 01:37:41 PM
Hey there,

I'd like to request a whitelist for Bitcointalk. I'm a new member to the forums here but a long time Bitcoin trader/seller and occasionally miner (Still have some left). I can help people out with technical difficulties and advices whenever needed, and I'm sure I'd be a good addition to the forum.

Thanks!

Really not a lot have changed, aside from the fact that (as youve probably noticed) the prices have changed a lot (Im not sure when exactly you quit Bitcoins), and it has gotten more general awareness.
