1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 01, 2023, 01:24:33 PM
Now, let's hear your opinion. In 3...2...1... go!
I am optimistic that profits can be made but I am also of the opinion that it cannot just happen randomly. You have to strategize how you are going to achieve it. I will suggest some options:

Sports

1- Arbitrage Betting: Find 2 sportsbooks offering different odds on the same event. It's usually easier to find on low-ranked games.
2- Cash Out: There are markets where you can bet and within a few minutes cash out in profit. For example, a dota2 game where one team has early game, they are likely to have a lead and then lose the game. You can take advantage of the fact that you know they will have early lead and odds will drop.

Casino

I think the only way to make money from casinos is by using promotions. It can be Eddie ve Stake, deposit bonuses with low wagering requirements, etc.

2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 22, 2023, 03:35:50 PM
Newcastle are really inconsistent these days. It started to reflect on their Champions League games as well recently. Because they lost to Dortmund two times in a row which pushed them down to the fourth position. But I still want to believe that they will recover from this situation as well. Newcastle were pretty impressive last season you know.

This carried them even to the Champions League despite challenging hard against the other top teams in the Premier League. Actually they weren't doing bad until a point this season too. But hopefully they will get better. They have got some bad news additionally like Tonali's suspension but I will expect them to get better in time.
Situation is suddenly not into their favor with injuries and suspension of key players, but they have to manage this until January because The FA allow them to have players on loan from Saudi League clubs which are also under management of PIF which is owner of the Newcastle United, so things can go better after this decision but right now they have to suffer with on 25th Novembers they are going to face Chelsea which is impressive in last few games and after this PSG challenge is also waiting for them in Champions League.

Currently, they are seventh in Premier League with most chances they could be stayed here for few more weeks but surely need to improve with manage to come out of this problem which is bringing them down badly after having good start of this season again hopefully next half of the season will bring better results.

But Al-Hilal has one problem - Neymar  Grin It seems that now it is the club that is dragging the player up and not vice versa as planned. Neymar missed the penalty and I think his extremely sensitive nature is becoming increasingly stressed. I think if future opponents are cynical enough, they can easily provoke him into receiving a yellow card and then a red card. I'm sure someone in the Premier League would have done this already.
Al Hilal won their game despite Neymar Jr missed penalty in the first half. Al Hilal is a good team that deserves the best results because they've worked so hard for it. Alot of things won't fall in shape because they have big name in their midst. Neymar Jr have an outstanding performance in every piece of game he featured in but he keeps wasting crucial goal scoring chances that would have boosted his performance, instead he settled for providing assists which are not even up to the basis of his standard. Secondly, he's aggressive and popularly recognized with using the wrong language against his opponents and the referee on the pitch, which often triggered his yellow cards in his new team.
Al Hilal having good advantage against Al Shabab with they lost only one game from last ten and won five which is clearly indicating there is no competition between these two clubs and recent investment create good difference of quality Neymar Jr missed penalty create some hype but at the end we have two goals with Koulibaly and Metrovic done good job and bring their team at the top of league table.

There is too much talk about Neymar and his future at this club Al Hilal which spend huge amount for bringing him to this club most chances things could be normal because this league is not competitive like we have in UEFA, so he can give more playing time without any serious injury, but good thing is they have no long contract which will help Al Hilal in case of any problem right now they are working on few other options as well which will be clear in 2024 transfer window.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 25, 2023, 06:26:53 PM
I feel like all casimosu should be very transparent about their rules and regulations to customers. I think directly mentioning that "customers need to give personal information and complete kyc to withdraw money" may work. Dishonest customers may exploit if chances given to them. And they violate rules intentionally to disrupt business of casino operators sometimes. It is so sad legit gambling companies lose money because of annoying customers. Never forget that there are many laborers getting paid in those casinos so they can feed their families etc
They are already. You can go to the gambling section of our forum and you will see there that most casinos always indicates if they have a KYC or not in their title. They can also mention there if VPNs and other things are allowed or not. For more information, we can just click on it to get redirected on their ann thread.

As long as the casino is trust worthy, they shouldn't worry about these dishonest customers because I know their attempts will never be successful. In an online casino, I think they only have limited staffs but it was the offline casino are the ones who had more laborers. There is still a chance for them to apply in the other if ever the casino that they are working with closes down.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 24, 2023, 07:01:09 PM
I'll speak about myself that whenever I bet, I bet for fun. There is no pressure on me to win but I make sure that I give in everything to win.
Your last line seems to negate what you have said earlier.

Even if I lose there's no such burden which makes betting fun to me. I keep trying new strategies and this makes it interesting to me.
Although I keep losing money but the amount is not so huge because I bet with smaller amounts. I don't bet something that I cannot afford to lose.
Each of us are not the same. In order for some to experience the true fun in gambling, they need to risk a slightly higher amount first. Unfortunately, some of them can't help but to feel bad about their losses which is understandable according on the amount that they are risking. I see that you are trying new strategy but I thought you are only playing for fun?

You need to clear up your mind mate to know if what really is your main aim when you play gambling. If in case you play for profit, may we know if what is that game you are playing? Because some games are not depending on the strategy that we are using.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 24, 2023, 06:34:39 PM
There are people out there too who practice healthy gambling and we can say are successful at their game because they have control over what they are doing. They usually have methods they apply to get themselves not addicted, sometimes I think not getting busy and staying idol can cause you to turn your gambling habit into addiction so I always advice get a job and if you must gamble, do it responsibly.

Yeah I agree with you irrespective of the negative perception or views most people have on gambling on the contrary there are a lot of good gamblers who has benefited greatly on gambling using a simple strategy that's well suitable for them,  and always apply risk management  but just like you said is more advice able to look for a steady job instead of relying on gambling because a jobless person tend to see gambling as the only way for them to make money as such all there thinking will be channel on gambling were as they will become addicted and seeing gambling as there only way to take care of there needs as such making them to be overwhelmed while gambling were as it covers there sense of reasoning in other not to no if they are becoming too obsessed on the gambling or not
I am not really sure about the benefits or strategies that people might have gotten from gambling, but I can say that when someone gambles responsibly, they can at least save themselves from excessive losses and that is the main issue about gambling. When someone gets into gambling, they tend to forget about how much time and money they need to spend on it and they forget having a count for both of these metrics and then lose a lot of time and money in it.

But, when someone realizes that gambling is not actually a way to earn money and there is no point in spending so much time and money on it, they might start getting a bit responsible and then start limiting the time and money that they used to spend on gambling which will save them from excessive losses.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: September 24, 2023, 08:50:19 AM
The trend of looking for Low Cap tokens is actually no longer effective, because not many people experience high pumps atm. Maybe, if anyone is still enthusiastic about looking for lowcap tokens, they can follow influencers on platform X, because there is a lot of information being shared there. Reddit could also be an option. But, what you say is true, if the altcoin is low cap it will most likely become a shitcoin. Potential investors should do research before buying to minimize the risk of loss, and focus on short-term profits rather than holding for long terms if decided to buy already.
This is effective before since to many people look for low cap tokens since this is easy to hype and pump. But now the action made by those guys which manipulate these low cap coins has been exposed already so we cannot get any guarantee that we can earn from choosing it nowadays since many look at the low cap tokens as dead project already. Maybe we should look for better establish tokens or coins since they have more better chances that can give us decent profit.
Even if a project is not established or old or trusted, it should at least have a good present which means that an investor must do their research before getting into a project and shouldn't just base their investment on the fact that the token or coin has a low market cap which barely makes it a good coin or a token since the price of it can always change and that change can only be positive if the project is a good one with a good team and stuff.

If someone thinks that they are not capable of doing any research or understanding if a project is worth investing in or not then they should probably just go with projects that have been around for quite some time and they know that they will at least perform well when the market enters the bull run.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Psychology and tips on: September 24, 2023, 06:50:19 AM
It is easy to loose focus of what is important when trading. Making money which is the aim of being a trader is a good thing to have in mind as end result, but your focus as a trader should be faced on executing the strategy that you have formulated and executing it to perfection that you are then able to make profit as reward for the good strategy used. Traders who focus fully on making money instead of strategy will not enjoy the process of trading which is meant to be enjoyed and will not be able to easily observe when a strategy that they use is no longer as effective as it was.
Correct, anyone that becomes successful in almost any activity is concentrated more than anything on the process, as they know very well that if they do things correctly then sooner or later the good results will follow, while those that care only about the results will be happy they earned any money even if they made a lot of mistakes along the way, but when the process is so inconsistent and full of mistakes then the positive results will soon disappear and be replaced by negative results.
It's also important not to lose concentration just because of initial failures. A lot of people enter the market with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement but they exit the market after they face a couple of losses initially which is wrong. Wins and losses are a part of everything, you won't always keep getting successful in your life but you are not supposed to give up just because you are not able to get success very easily, you will need to work for it.

So, those who stay in the market and keep trying and grinding and working on themselves and their skills and strategies tend to get success some day, because they don't give up just because they can't do it easily, success doesn't come your way just like that but you need to reach it.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: September 24, 2023, 06:01:05 AM
This seems like the most appropriate response, while the VIP status seems to imply greater bonuses by default, as you mention this is not the case, if a gambler wants bonuses then they need to deposit money at their favorite casino and make some bets, and since our capital is limited and the time we have to enjoy our gambling hobby is limited as well then it makes way more sense to concentrate our efforts in a single casino, however since variety brings also excitement to our lives, it also makes sense to try other casino from time to time just to have a different experience.
Trying new or different platforms from very now and then isn't an issue as long as the person isn't aiming to grow their account as big as to reach a certain VIP level which is basically the concern here because that will require you to have a very large budget that you will need to split in different platforms to be able to complete that feat. Otherwise, simply keep one VIP account at your favorite platform and use other platforms just with small deposits whenever you feel like gambling on them.

If I had a certain budget which I knew isn't that high, I would mostly spend it on the casino where I know there are games that I like playing and I often use the platform, so that my rank keeps increasing over time and I reach a VIP level instead of using some of the money on different platforms.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 23, 2023, 03:14:04 PM
Against Verona, I expect the Milan club to win that game comfortably. Verona I know wouldn't want to be easily beaten and would also want to take something from that game or even win the match but with the current form of AC Milan, it'll be very difficult to deny them a win in that game.
In the eighth minute AC Milan had won 1-0. Really they will win this match against Hellas Verona easily. Of course AC Milan must play openly and their possession of the ball must not be reduced as is currently going on for up to 25 minutes.
If AC Milan manages to double the score at least in this first half, there will be a chance to get full points. Of course, don't give Hellas Verona control of the game even though they keep trying to score goals.
Right now, we are in 80th minute with AC Milan is still leading by 1 - 0 and Verona is doing their best for having something positive from this match, but things are not favouring them in second half they are mounting good pressure on AC Milan but still things are not into their control for having a goal which bring them to the level after humiliating defeat against Inter Milan and having another poor performance against Newcastle Untied in Champions League AC Milan is trying their best for keeping their third spot into league table.

If they are not able to keep things on better level in this match then surely they can lose their spot and moral as well which could be big disaster for them in coming weeks and for the title race as well against Inter Milan and Juventus.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 23, 2023, 06:30:18 AM
As long as you are making a good amount in gambling, I believe you are also being entertained. But when you experience consistent losing, that's when the fun stops. Instead, you no longer experience the fun because you are pressured to recover your losses and win more profits. That is the reason why at some point, gamblers lost the real essence of gambling and just gamble to earn a living. When the time comes that you will find yourself uncontrollable, that's where gambling addiction follows.
That only applies to gamblers who gamble only to get monetary gains and those who are addicted to gambling. Someone who gambles for fun won't really care much about their losses hence they will never chase their losses. For someone who gambles to entertain themselves, even if they are losing, it's still fun because the thrill of the game is what they want from gambling and they will get that even if they are not winning constantly which doesn't matter for them.

But if someone is gambling with a limited amount and wants to increase that amount through gambling, they will surely feel bad or sad when they keep losing and they won't find gambling fun because for them, the fun only means that they should be winning constantly which isn't possible.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 23, 2023, 05:46:09 AM
so is it possible that those casinos doing their no KYC stuffs are not even registered?  [/b]
It is possible that they are not yet registered and have started illegally. Starting with no statement of KYC registration in sign up stage, deposit stage or even withdrawal stage in their "Terms of service" is a big red flag and sign of a casino that may just have been opened for a criminal reason, a casino with no intentions to remain in the business.

KYC requirement is not only to curtail money laundering activities, It is also helping to reduce the increasing number of underaged gamblers.
Well, a lot of platforms don't acquire a license so that they can provide their services without asking their customers for KYC verification because they feel that there is a high demand for no-KYC platforms within the gambling community and it's true to some extent. However, I believe most people are slowly accepting their faith and understanding that a no-KYC platform won't really be able to stay around for very long, it will either close down or it will be forced to comply with the KYC and AML rules.

So, even if a casino doesn't have any intentions of doing criminal acts or allowing that to happen, it will have to give up on its arrogance and accept the rules of the regulators or they will simply close it down which will be a big loss for the owner of the casino as they will lose everything they've invested in it.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: September 22, 2023, 08:31:44 PM
meme coin is never a good choice to begin with, so much manipulation that I don't think any individual trader should even invest in it, just imagine micro capitalization with too much manipulation that basically prey off the individual investors i don't think its a good place to invest.
therefore only choosing coin based fundamental makes more sense though doesn't guarantee to have massive increase within short term but its still better than these meme coin honestly.
even better if you are good at analysing which coin are having good fundamental, committed team, and so on the chance of you flipping your money and making profit will increase significantly.
That's right, the very first thing one needs to do is invest in altcoins that are already established and have been doing pretty well for a very long time just for the safety of the funds, but if someone wants to get out of that circle and invest in new projects and coins, they will need to do proper research and evaluate each project closely before they reach a conclusion and make their investments because if they don't do that, they will risk their capital.

And meme coins should totally be out of the question here. If someone wants to make sensible investments, they need to stay 10 steps away from meme coins and any other pump-and-dump coin because they don't have any organic value and they will drop significantly and cause them huge losses in no time.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you expect better, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? on: September 22, 2023, 06:48:59 PM
I've also had trouble following FOMO in the past. I am very slow in understanding things, in fact, I have to lose quite a lot until I can finally overcome the problems within myself.
I don't know the reason why I tend to get caught in mistakes that I have actually experienced. I have tried to be careful and tried to be consistent with planning, but to be honest, it all requires a process that is not instant.
it all depends on how they can control themselves.
We've all been through it, and there is no exception for anyone in this. Anyone who gets into something as a newbie will have to face difficulties initially and then they start learning everything with time and then they start realizing what mistakes they've been making throughout this time. I once lost about $2,000 just because of FOMO, I bought when everyone started selling and the token was dumped very badly and I was left with nothing but dust.

However, the problems and mistakes make us stronger as a person and as a trader as well. The money that we lose will teach us a listen that we will remember for the rest of our lives and that is more valuable than the money itself. We should strive to learn and grow and never give up.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: September 21, 2023, 05:24:23 PM
Gambling is not just about winning or losing, but how do you keep your mentality stable too, even if you win big but if you can't withdraw your money from the gambling site then it's pointless, i'm sure the majority of people who get stuck in withdrawal problems on a gambling site because they didn't read the TOS first are beginners, usually they are lazy;
1. find out the reputation of the online gambling site
2. check the reviews and legitimacy of the gambling site
3. check the age of the gambling site
4. ask other members whether the bonuses offered are legit
5. read the Term of Service
Though age also matters, I believe reputation shouldn't be based on the age of a platform. There might be a platform that was launched last month or a couple of months ago but has been operating very well and its customers might have no complaints regarding anything, this also makes the platform reputable, and an old platform might decide to start acting weirdly all of a sudden and stop paying users what they owe them and might even shut down their services without any notice, this happened recently with a casino on this forum I won't take the name.

But, it is true that a platform that continues to provide the best of its services for quite some time deserves to be trusted because it has been around for quite some time and users were always served right by the platform. So, users should basically look for user satisfaction regarding a platform to evaluate its reputation and trustworthiness.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 21, 2023, 04:31:51 PM
It's impossible to tell.
It true and of course explaining all of this is not easy because every gambler experiences different experiences and not all gamblers can be said to be addicts because some gamblers who are truly experienced or professional know very well how to limit their gambling at any time certain so that it cannot be claimed as an addict.
It's not about experience at all when it comes to gambling addiction. Can experience make you a responsible gambler? No, it can't, because you need self-control and a high level of patience to be able to control the urge and to limit the money and time you spend on your gambling activities, and though experience might be a good assistance, you won't actually become a responsible gambler only because you have a lot of experience in gambling or betting.

You can often find experienced gamblers getting addicted to gambling just because they have no control over themselves and their emotions, and when the urge hits their mind, they just can't say no to it because they lack self-control. So, though experience has a great role, it doesn't stop you from getting addicted.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: September 21, 2023, 02:49:39 PM
Watch again, they are not promoting slots gambling but rather they are doing an information parade campaign where the organizer is trying to show the effect of gambling to a person's finance.  Although they could have improved the performance on the parade by adding more effect  which can be written or shown on the  bannner.
The organizers definitely have good intentions and there is no question about that. However, the way they did it may have an opposite effect.
I suppose when organizing such parades on public spaces, the audience will be mostly kids and teenagers who don't know anything about gambling or slot games. What the organizers did is introduce those games to them. The funny games' characters and the cool images is what will attract their attention and stick in their heads the most, not the message behind it.
The graphics, music, characters, and everything of slots can even attract elders, and children are far more vulnerable to these things and as you said, these things will obviously make them curious and they might decide to check out what these games are and how they are played. We all have children in our homes or around us, and we all know how they get excited and eager when they hear about a game or something and they want to try it out somehow.

So, these parades shouldn't really be held like this, in open public, but they can do it in halls or stadiums where they can restrict entry for children or anyone below a certain age like 20 or maybe 18 or something so that there are no negative impacts of the event and it successfully demonstrates the negative side of gambling.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? on: September 20, 2023, 02:59:53 PM
Also, the more people we have, the harder it will get to get new customers as well. I mean if you have everyone involved already, it would be hard to convince the last people, they waited that long, they may have a solid reason that we can't change. So, the long time we spend with this adoption rate, the harder it gets to convince others and we should be careful about it.

I personally do agree that it is going to have some trouble here and there, but we could definitely have some changes. I believe that we are going to have some issues on the long run, and for that we need to figure out a way other than "if you buy bitcoin, it will go up in the future" type of convincing, we need something bigger than that to grow.
The only thing other than the growing price of Bitcoin is the use cases it provides to its users that can be used to convince people but that is not going to be as effective as the price because most people are adopting Bitcoin not for its use cases but because they see it going up and they believe they will get good returns if they buy Bitcoin right now. If they see that there is absolutely no growth, or even if there is, it isn't significant enough to provide them any profit, they will barely be interested.

So, if there is no growth and no bull run for 10 years, the pace at which the adoption is going right now will decrease greatly, and we can barely have any way to convince people to still buy Bitcoin if they don't see any incentive connected to it and that will surely affect the adoption rate that we have.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin can go to $5 million? on: September 20, 2023, 02:11:55 PM
I'm not sure about his prediction but surely Bitcoin can go to $5 million or even more than that, but still we don't know when because in upcoming 10 years it's not possible for Bitcoin to go anywhere close to $5 years and if it does then most of the holders will be millionaires and some maybe billionaires.

Bitcoin is the best asset in the whole world and it can grow to the unimaginable heights in future but sadly no one knows that how long it will take Bitcoin to cross $1 million price tag. Let's still be optimist about its price and hope for a better future for all those investors who are holding. Surely Bitcoin will be at $120k within 3 years but not sure when it will reach $5 million.
Well, not every holder will become a millionaire if Bitcoin hits $1m because they don't all hold 1 or more than 1 Bitcoins. The amount of Bitcoins in circulation is spread into the whole population that has some Bitcoins in their wallet and the percentage of people holding 1 or more than 1 Bitcoins is not really that high, I believe there must be some stats regarding this that we can find somewhere if we do some research but I'm pretty sure about what I'm saying.

However, if Bitcoin manages to reach that price, it will surely make every at least wealthy to some extent, because even if you are holding 0.1 Bitcoin, you will have $100k which is not a small amount no matter in which part of the world you are. So, that will be great and all, but it's nothing more than just a prediction.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 20, 2023, 11:42:15 AM
I don't know about Newcastle's poor performance... It seems to me that on the contrary they showed a good level, considering that this is their first game in the Champions League... Looking at Milan's stats, Newcastle didn't concede a goal and managed to draw away... I think Newcastle played well...
In a game like this most especially in the Champion League group every point is considered vital, Ac Milan created so many countless scoring opportunities from the start of the match to the end. While for Newcastle, it was a heroic point for them, Ac Milan overwhelmed Newcastle it was a disappointing result to me for Milan having had a lot of opportunities to have won the match but could not find a way through Newcastle played like they were underdog and in many ways there were not they were outplayed but not outmatched
Champions League is completely different world with every action and point is going to count at the end which is important for any team here we have one of the boring start of the AC Milan and Newcastle United with advantage is clearly going into favor of the Newcastle United because they were here after two decades and their coach is also relatively new with no experience but still they have done good job and having one important point for AC Milan this was really embarrassing with too many attacks and scoring shots but at the end they were fail to produce anything positive for themselves specially after one of the worst defeat against Inter Milan things were into their favor for the win, but they fail which is surely going to have problems for them in coming matches.
