1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Asia: Top developments for 2021 on: December 04, 2020, 11:59:18 PM
Yeah, I think Japan, China and South Korea leading the way, More Than 95% of Crypto Futures Volume Is in Asia: Report. And then we have those developing countries, like the Philippines, Meet The 6 Cryptocurrency Exchanges In Philippines Registered With BSP, and then Indonesia, Binance Invests in Regulated Indonesian Crypto Exchange.

And I think this trend will continue in the next coming years and it could be Asia be dubbed as crypto hub with all the adoption and development and support of the government going around.

Asia is a big continent with so many people and still need development in many countries, so no wonder that bitcoin will take a part of improvement there, although China as one of the biggest country had banned cryptocurrency but it doesn't really affect the community. From the standpoint of first countries in Asia such as Japan, South Korea and Singapore have a big role in bitcoin adoption in the region, while other countries proceeding to the same path.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is going to be the next gem on: December 04, 2020, 06:49:34 PM
Because once paper money will have no value.
Now no one wants to do cash transactions.

The case is different in many countries, some states have a strong fiat currency, so the paper money will remain valuable as long as the government developing the economy in a better direction.
Once again, the case is different depends on the region, some countries have been utilizing digital transactions more than using cash. However, there are many countries still using cash on daily transactions.
The main reason for this difference is the technology development and adoption are different in every country.
But yeah, we are heading to digitalization transactions that gradually replace cash tradition.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy 5 coins and wait till each of them grows 10%, then sell on: December 04, 2020, 06:21:41 PM
Yeah, that could works, do you mind to share what are those 5 coins?  Are the coins btc, eth, ada, xrp, and xlm?
10% isn't a relatively high number, if you buy €1000 each, then it's €100 profits for each coin, and the 5 coins I mentioned above could increase more than 10% within a few weeks. Just make sure to set the buy and sell arrangement.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to invest? on: December 04, 2020, 03:30:06 PM
~
Is it a good time to buy bitcoin, for a not too long term investment? And not just a couple of bucks but rather with a sum that would definitely sting (but not cripple) if the pendulum swings the wrong way.
~

Depends on how long is "not too long term"? a month or two?
Bitcoin movement still going sideways at the moment, we will know what may happen if bitcoin success to break the resistance level at $19,9k but today it seems to decline which means retest the support level at $18,8k. Despite the price right now, buying bitcoin will be profitable within 1-2 months, it supposes to reach at least $22k in this month before a retracement by the end of the year or in early 2021.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government accept it? on: December 04, 2020, 02:29:31 PM
The government will look for a way to regulate the blockchain industry and make use of it possibility government are already accepting crypto and we are still at the early stage of adaptation.

There is no doubt that the bank system will never be abolished as that is one way for a country to developing the economy and still able to supervise the outflow of money to make sure everything is going adequately.
If the government wants to regulate cryptocurrency in the country, it will develop a better way to collect the taxes just like in the US, although many things have to be fixed. Bitcoin and other coins that provide decentralized technology for people to manage their coins without the government recognizing, it is also not a completely wrong choice as bitcoin provides the freedom to control your funds, to transact as you want as long as you know what you are doing.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: December 04, 2020, 01:47:36 PM

Bitcoin has gained more attention in the financial world, the increasing adoption is a good sign for the community, as we can use bitcoin in various sectors as the original purpose of bitcoin was created to be an alternative currency. More adoption means bitcoin value will gradually increase as time goes on and hopefully will be spread widely among people around the world, so we can get a less volatile market.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "global asset" prediction from Black Rock on: December 04, 2020, 10:00:45 AM
I believe the next wave of the bull run is about to erupt as CEO of the biggest asset management firm BlackRock Larry Fink said bitcoin can evolve into global asset. There are more big guys from Wall street getting involved in bitcoin too. We won't possibly see any serious corrective retracement anymore.

https://www.coindesk.com/blackrock-ceo-bitcoin-global-asset

Blackrock is the world's largest asset management, if the CEO already stated bitcoin possibly become a global asset, then they might have been investing in bitcoin secretly as well because support from major traditional financial players is relatively rare. That's the difference between the rally in this year and 2017, many traditional financial players buying bitcoin as a reserve asset or for a long term investment.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 03, 2020, 06:11:33 PM
Hardware wallet is the best, but if you can't afford it, you can use Electrum Wallet. Electrum is an open source wallet and it's completely free, like your own bank. Never hold on to Coinbase or any other exchange. This is very risky. Electrum wallet is best after hardware wallet.

No doubt about bitcoin mobile wallets, but he was talking about wallet for new projects, even there are plenty of projects that have been operating for year's but don't have any official mobile wallets available for smartphone. I have only 3 mobile wallets for different coins and it really makes it easier to transact.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: December 03, 2020, 03:23:25 PM
Yeah, I could accumulate more bitcoin if have sold last the peak and buyback the dip at $3k. in 2017 I didn't sell at the ath, but thought it may recover or stay above $10k, well it didn't, so I missed the chance to get profits and more coins at the same time. If we can predict the bitcoin movement, at least 80% correct to buy and sell at the right time, even 60-70% is a big profit.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: December for moon on: December 03, 2020, 09:57:07 AM
Yes we need to be more focussed on our plans for buying and selling as it's quite evident that Bitcoin is marching towards $25k and it's achievable by the end of this month or midway but we need to ensure we don't invest at peak as it would eb a suicidal move wherein our money can be locked for years if flash dip occurs. Those who had invested in 2017 December at peak most of them had to settle for lesser amount in return due to panic selling and bearish market but the long term investors had to wait for 3 years just to withdraw their invested amount. It's better we do a market study considering 2017 bull run and 2018 bearish market into consideration before jumping in middle.

Bitcoin easily increases $2000-$3000 within days in early November, it happened twice last month and corrected from $19,5k to $16,3k in just 1 day. Bitcoin starts this month with $19k although there are some retractions to $18k, it still manages to stay above $19k repeatedly. Bitcoin may reach $25k this month if investors willing to buy at this entry point, only whales can move the market towards a new peak, and many people have been waiting for the same occasion to sell bitcoin.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: December 03, 2020, 06:37:18 AM
When darkness is over, light can be seen. The price of Bitcoin is quite noticeable at this time, so it seems that this is the only direction of light.  The vaccine for this epidemic will come to our door in a few days. Even if it is not in the market, every country will soon start economic action to cut the economic downturn.
No more economic downhill?
We can only fighting for it , the result still unknown whether the world recover very well or face another bigger problem to get hyperinflation in most places, this is what we are afraid of.
Money getting worthless, properties goes down , hunger everwhere and many worse things.
The future will always uncertain but judging by our current condition i think 2021 wont be any worse than 2020 where everything is messed up.

lets try to be realistic if the fed will print more usa dollars the dollar will be de valued.
if they dont print enough the economy of usa will suffering and after suffereing economy the dollar will collapse.

do we see any revolutionary ways here to save usa economcy and usa dollar???
2021 are not looking great so lets be realistic here.

is the US dollar the standard for the world economy? Bitcoin price seems to tend to increase against dollar devaluation, don't you think it's a good thing for us? The US government will survive although many people suffer especially those without a source of income. However, the vaccine has been found, hopefully it's the solution to stop the Pandemic, the economy will gradually recover in 2021 imho.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new investment on: December 03, 2020, 05:51:17 AM
Bitcoin is always a great investment, very interesting and the leading coin of crypto, in short, people rely on bitcoin more than any other coin, so if you only plan to invest in trusted money, it's safer than investing in a new one.

Bitcoin isn't always a great investment due to the volatility, you can ask them who invested in December 2017 and have to withstand the capital loss, many people have cut loss and some choose to hold it until these days, probably still waiting for the next ath to cover the loss for 3 years. Nonetheless, for investors who can wait for the long term, Bitcoin indeed is a good investment.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who are those real rich elite who invest in bitcoin ? on: December 02, 2020, 11:59:51 PM
Bitcoin addressee are used for making transactions, the addresses can be tracked but it can not be linked to he owners if the owners are making use of bitcoin as a privacy coin without making use of custodial and kyc means for dealing with bitcoin. People like to be private when dealing with bitcoin, so you can not link many bitcoin address to their owner as they are pseudonymous.

But recently, there are many institutions that are buying bitcoin, institutions like grayscale and PayPal.

Many people like privacy and don't want to reveal they have bought bitcoin. The fact that so many addresses currently have a balance of $1 million or more but the pseudonymous of bitcoin make sure we won't know who they are unless the exchanges or authorities. Furthermore, there are over 200k addresses contain bitcoin that worth more than $100k. However, we know some famous people that ever hold bitcoin such as bill gates, elon musk, Paris Hilton, mike Tyson, Lionel Messi, and so on.

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Above $20,500, BTC will give $4k+ move. Here is why on: December 02, 2020, 11:16:11 PM
I have set sell orders at some points, just a small amount of bitcoin in case there will be another pullback below $18k but the fact that bitcoin is getting on over $19k repeatedly in a short period after many attempts to halt bitcoin to break $20k with huge dumps, in the end, bitcoin will make it to surpass $20k in the next few days, so I prefer to sell at $21k-24k.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: December 02, 2020, 05:28:58 PM
It's a very tricky thing @trading. If your in experienced, you never can fully tell how long you are to hold a loosing position on a trade. There is a technic and it should be in your setting of stop loss margin and the same applies to take profit margin. No one likes loosing and as such, you tend to hold a losing position with hope that it would turn back in profit. Eventually, it just might not and you end up losing more than you can afford to lose.
Always put your stop loss just before the previous lower low at the support level and take profit close to the higher high at the resistance level. Once these places are broken, it signifies a possible break out so, you've just got to love the trade before you make the mistake of losing more than you could bare.

Indeed, stop-loss is a good idea for those who can't tolerate losses in trading for a long period.
We know that bitcoin and some altcoins be able to recover and reach the ath again someday, but most of the altcoins can't survive in the market, so it is better to sell those coins rather than hold it for long term in hope it will rise again.

16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: December 02, 2020, 04:27:19 PM
Being able to read where the market is heading to, based on fundamental analysis, supply and demand, and trends in the market. The next tips are managing portfolios, the entry point, selling point, and capital gains.
And the last thing is the most complicated for me is to be patient waiting for the goals.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment brokers on: December 02, 2020, 02:57:35 PM
Some people have been trying to do act as a bitcoin broker, but I wouldn't trust them until they provide proof of their words. Meanwhile, you'll find out easier for you to invest by yourself rather than find any trusted broker here. However, there are many brokers out there but be careful, make sure to hire a licensed broker to be safe.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest threat to Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2020, 01:36:59 PM
Everybody looks so happy and optimistic about Bitcoin bull rally, everything is going fine for the crypto king and many expect it to last forever including myself. Do you really think so? I'm not talking about some corrective retracement, which is healthy for the market too.
What do you think can be the biggest threat for Bitcoin in current situation? In my opinion it can be only some sudden governments shift in regulations and laws to ban Bitcoin (which I don't really think may happen), otherwise there are basically no obstacles or threats.
The biggest problem for bitcoin may be that the government will simply ban its use once and for all and all crypto exchanges will be outlawed. Of course, some advanced States that understand the value of bitcoin will leave it as a secondary tool, but in most cases, a complete ban will first lead to a decrease in the cost, and then to a complete zeroing of the price of bitcoin.

The biggest market for bitcoin probably in the US and EU, but the authorities have issued regulations regarding cryptocurrency and exchanges, so no need to worry about it.
The biggest threat that can affect the rally perhaps a hacked exchange that led to the loss of bitcoin worth billions of dollars.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stablecoin to use on: December 02, 2020, 11:36:21 AM
Here are some best stable coin to use:
1• Bitcoin: ~
2• Ethereum: ~
3• BNB: ~

No, bitcoin, ethereum, and BNB are not stable coins, because their prices are very volatile.
Stable coins value pegged on fiat currency, it's offering price stability and usually backed by a reserve asset such as the US dollar or other valuable assets.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stablecoin to use on: December 02, 2020, 04:53:48 AM
USDT probably the most famous among stable coins that have the biggest volume and the most phenomenal due to lawsuits against them. If you trust them and don't mind the lawsuits, feel free to hold it.
Nonetheless, USDC and BUSD are good stable coins as well backed by Coinbase and Binance, these two exchanges are better than Bitfinex in my opinion, so I prefer to buy BUSD because Binance is the best exchanges out there.
