1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change of strategy on: March 19, 2019, 08:56:12 AM
If you find yourself in this situation, why don't you ask yourself; what method am I using that is not making things to work out?
It will surprise you that the method might be archaic or that it might not work for this period.
Why don't you change it.
What you have said is right, is good to change strategy when you’re losing, but you might change strategy and still be losing. I think if someone is losing what they have to do is find out where the mistake is coming from, if they are able to know where the mistake is coming from they will be able to correct the problem. So it doesn’t have to do with just changing your strategy, you have to dictate the problem.

I am sure that there is a very big problem in the fact that today you have for a correct understanding of the situation. Today you need not just to change the old strategy. Today you need to be able to correctly select this very strategy and correctly analyze information.
That’s it, not just looking for another strategy. Another thing that can cause this is when one is trading the wrong coins, I mean buying the cheap coins. Especially newbies are fond of this, they buy cheap coins that promises to get better within a short while, lol. I’m not trying to say that buying ICOs is bad, but if you don’t know what you’re are doing you better stay clear from it than do what you don’t know.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Current situation, how investors/traders are enriching these three. on: March 10, 2019, 04:21:54 PM
Well, the purpose of any business is to make profit just that they are being too greedy in their dealings. If we are to take these 3 people mentioned out of the crypto currency business, then there will be no crypto currency world again, sometimes we just have to play smart too as an investor irrespective of all these their activities mentioned by you not to really dupe people but to over make profit.

Things like these do happen in business, if you are to open a business and need to sell shares, would you not overhype our business for investors to come in? This is the same method they are using.
3  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying goods or services using crypto on: February 11, 2019, 07:00:35 PM
You can buy with it, I think you should check out purse.io and you will find a lot of stuffs that you can buy from there. You can also check out overstock.com, there are lots of things there too, but I wouldn’t recommend overstock.com, I prefer purse.io, cause whatever you’re buying there is coming from Amazon and you’re also getting a percentage (about 25) off everything you buy. You can also get gift cards from BitPay. There are lots of ways you can spend your Bitcoin, I believe you can also make use of it on Expedia.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: A long decay on: December 03, 2018, 07:54:51 AM
Friends, how long the market will roll down the slope, will we see growth before next year?
Maybe we will. There is currently a lot of things happening right now and I believe that once everything settles, the price will start to go up again. Just take for example the ETF that is coming soon, the BCH fork that took place recently and a lot more of them. So this break down is just for a little while and there will be a pump. Just keep your coins and hold tight.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Price stability on: November 17, 2018, 07:30:30 AM
It is indeed a good news. Of course a good news gives a good profit. But do not expect that much for the price to increase just because of this. It's unpredictable that the price will rise or fall. But based on the price, we are experiencing a stable price compared to months that passed.
If you are considering price stability as good news, then I think this is bad at your point. How can you consider this even? You never would have stability in prices and if it is so, believe me bitcoin would lose all its charm and blossom. Reason is simple, bitcoin is different from other sources just because of giving big ratio of profits that are only because of this volatile nature.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Everyone loses money when the market is down right? on: November 09, 2018, 12:09:12 PM
Yes, that's for sure, because when the market is down I find everyone is scared and there's me, me too, and I'm afraid of losing so much capital, so I'm still patiently holding on. Hold and wait for the recovery of the market.
Yes that’s the best thing to do when you can’t trade anytime the market price drops. Some people always force themselves to trade and lose money in it.

I’m also doing the same thing right now, just Hodl’ing and waiting for when the price will go back up, although I’m seeing a lot of people still trade now. I don’t know how long it will take the market to recover this time around, but the way I’m seeing it’s probably going to take a long time and it’s not going to be this year.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Story of crypto market on: November 09, 2018, 11:18:21 AM
Crypto market is full of blood and tears.
Certainly many people who enter this market long enough will have losses money, even lot of money.
I've lost a lot money because of the margin. When I think I know everything about this market. That moment I was gone.
Have you ever lost a lot of money? Please share with me your story about this market. I want to learn from you. Thanks a lot.
I always see myself as the luckiest person here and I didn’t wish to stop being the luckiest person lol. I have been trying Hodl’ing ever since I got into this market and things have been going the way I expect it to and I have been able to make a lot of money and also do a little cryptocurrency trading which is my way of making extra cash.

The only time I lost a money that became gone-gone is when I was newbie and was trying to sell and unfortunately sent my $15 to a scammer. After that I was able to recover everything more than that.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex Effect Bitcoin Price? on: November 09, 2018, 10:15:28 AM
Do you guys think that bitmex exchange effects on bitcoin price? Because last year there was no exchange like bitmex. Now people are making money by short trade. Do you think it effects bitcoin price because exchange has big volume.
Maybe it used to, but I don't think it does anymore. Back in this summer bitmex was a viable option to short bitcoin and hope the price was low and people with money sold all their coins to keep the bitcoin low and recollected at the low amounts slowly. When you buy 10 bitcoin a day you do not change the price but when you sell 200 bitcoins all at once you drop it lower.

Which means people kept buying bitcoin slowly and sold at once to keep the price low and make money from their short positions in bitmex. However if you check the volume right now it is clear that no one can do such thing or has done anything like that for a long time, price has been stable and the volume has been stable too and there has been no "sudden sell" that caused a stirr up anytime in the past 3 months.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is margin trading? on: November 09, 2018, 09:33:16 AM
I have been in the cryptocurrency trading world for the past 10 months and couldn't make much profits when the market moved to bear phase. I have been reading about margin trading and have not been able to wrap my head around it? I think i can make some money in the bear phase! Am i correct?
The biggest improvement over regular trading is in margin trading you can trade short as well. This means normally you either buy bitcoin or go back to fiat, with margin trading you can use your money to say "bitcoin will go down" and make profit from that.

Everyone talks about how margin trading allows you to leverage your money and just make ton of more than what you have which I agree doesn't exist anywhere else on crypto or normal life outside of margin trading but that is definitely not the biggest improvement.

You can definitely lose your money a lot more quickly if you use that option. However being able to bet on the fact that bitcoin will go down is still an amazing feature even if you just trade on x1 leverage (meaning no leverage at all) that options can still make you money during bear markets.

11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Books or youtube to learn how to trade on: October 08, 2018, 01:45:08 PM
Hello guys,

I am french and i wanna try to learn trading in English language (to get skills in english and trading ahah)
Do you have a recommandation for a good book ?

I wanna try to find a good youtuber to, who is explain how to detect signal. In crypto or in nasdaq.

And maybe if its exist, a website with exercise?

Thanks guys
There has many sources in the internet that will help you, new guides and strategies on trading. For me I prefer learning in video, I got bored when I read books I can't understand well. Just choose a good explanator in youtube that you think will help you understand how to trade.
Peter lynch is a great author on "one up on wall street", there is "intelligent investor" by benjamin graham and there is "rich dad poor dad" all of this can get you to the smart investment. It won't make you super rich in anyway but if you learn how to invest smartly and how to save money properly, you can definitely retire early and you will keep making MORE money after you retire than when you were working because you would already saved enough money to make decent returns whereas while working you are just increasing the capital. These are "investing" tho, not trading. Learn these investment methods and apply to your trading if you want to succeed.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: The basis of being a poor- how little or how big? on: October 08, 2018, 12:24:04 PM
Being poor doesn't really mean that you should be a beggar. If you have difficulties providing your needs and your salary or income is below than what is usual, you can be considered poor. It isn't really something to argue about. It is clear to see the difference between the rich and the poor. The rich ones who suffered a lot about money doesn't mean they are actually poor, it is just a matter of a choice for them to spend their money wisely or not.
I think being poor is subjective term depending on the person. If you are a minimum wage worker in some third world country making less than 1 dollar per hour and need to take care of your family with that money that's a global way of saying you are poor. However if you used to be a millionaire and now you bankrupted and still have a house and need to go to work and make a decent salary that's "poor" for your old standards.

Poor can be different in everyone's situation, for example I feel like I am much more poorer than I used to be, when bitcoin was going up I was living luxurious but now I need to work hard to pay the bills but that "poor" I feel is nowhere near the minimum wage worker with 2 kids so its subjective.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world. on: October 01, 2018, 09:46:12 AM
bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
I dont think so. Bitcoin can now be shared to countries around the world. Asians cant be the continent that holds the most Bitcoins. Investors have sold Bitcoin to other people on different continents. So we cant conclude that Asians hold the most Bitcoins.
The reason why most people may want to be saying this is because, Asians were very quick to adopt, a large volume of trade comes from the Asian region, and then looking at the way mining was really done in Asia, this used to have or still have the largest farm so far.

However, all these things are not totally meant to be a deciding factor for which country holds the most, since there is no way getting the statistics of where each owner's bitcoin wallet as well as what is in it resides.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: September 21, 2018, 08:00:29 AM
So many crypto currencies are coming UP . They are much cheaper  than Bitcoin for now. It is so hard to decide  which to buy . Some are in good promos, to buy or invest to it while it is cheaper and sell when the price Will getting high. Is it a good idea to buy while we can not afford yet Bitcoin?
This is a good plan but the main problem is deciding which coin to buy, that’s the main problem. It used to be best to buy cheap coins and keep them for when their price will get high, but this time around there are lots of shit coins everywhere and with lots of new coins everywhere you can hardly tell which one is the best. So in this case the very best thing to do is to continue investing in Bitcoin than taking risk.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: some of the reasons that made the bitcoin's price down on: September 17, 2018, 06:37:16 AM
One can easily think that the current price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is connected with the fear, uncertainty and doubt spread by people all over the Internet which usually scares newbies away.  One the other hand, I am beginning to feel that there is a manipulation.

Negative news about the Bitcoin is also contributing to decrease the demand of Bitcoin and making panic situations as well. On the internet we have plenty of negative materials about the Bitcoin but the real face of Bitcoin is known to only those who are rolling in it. We should ignore the negativity and should proceed further in our investment to make relevant decisions so that we may be able to get success here.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: September 04, 2018, 08:07:45 AM
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
including some of my friends who do not believe in bitcoin, but in the end they can believe it after seeing me have a life need that is fulfilled from my business on bitcoin.

At first it is really hard to believe about bitcoin especially if yoi don't have any proof but once the all time high will happen and you get huge amount of profit for sure some of your friends will believe in you.
They find it more than anything when they hear about the Bitcoin as it is the king of all time currency as investment source on first position in this technological world. There is nothing above the Bitcoin that makes everyone crazy due to its greater output and frictionless convenient role. People go crazy when they come to know about their profits and these lucky people are Bitcoin investors.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Be Creative and Earn on: September 04, 2018, 06:55:49 AM
Just happened across an article from May 2018 about a street artist who is earning crypto from his
Graffiti work by placing a QR code for people to send rewards - great idea! >
http://cryptotimes.org/bitcoin/street-artist-nets-1000-bitcoin-qr-codes-murals/

https://www.pboy-art.com/biographie

This goes to show there are many ways to earn crypto and the lesson is to be creative and think
outside the box. We can all earn crypto legitimately if we put our minds to the task and market
the idea.

Im just throwing it out there but I would love to read a part fiction/part historical novel about the
creation of Bitcon and Satoshi Nakamoto

Wow that’s okay but it’s not the only meaning of being creative, there are still other ways you can be creative and earn a lot of money through Bitcoin, you can do a lot of things. I have noticed that a lot of people here are fond of just relying only on Hodl and disturbing the community with questions like when will the next rush be?.... It’s better they learn to engage in other ways of earning.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH beat BTC someday? on: August 17, 2018, 06:34:06 AM
I do not think that ETH can beat BTC, but the password market has many surprises that will happen to us so if you think so should expect.
That is a fact that the market has so many surprises but impossible is impossible and it is completely impossible in the short run that ETH will be able to beat Bitcoin. The market price is down as a result of low stability and low demand. The market cap has reduced immensely and the same factors are positive in case of Bitcoin. Moreover once the Bitcoin starts growing again, it will leave behind ETH far and long.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Is President Trump good or bad for the economy? on: August 17, 2018, 05:56:19 AM
Trump is such a different man. It is not possible to really understand good or bad. But I am sure that you can not be trusted.
Well we must think about a president who isn’t happy with the fellows living in the country. He is racist and stupid and whatever you can assign him, I am sure he would be legit for that title. He is the dumbest president of US we ever know in history. But what he will be doing with this economics, this is still a question mark that needs to be answered. Good luck to people of US for their coming days.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 17, 2018, 05:21:38 AM
Spending time on Bitcoin is very correct. Bitcoin represents a new type of financial body with a huge group and profits, and Bitcoin is a very complex industry. It is not a simple investment game. It must take a lot of time to learn. Progress can be better for investment.
This is a fact that one should spend time in Bitcoin in order to get some money in the future trading when the prices rise. Without patience in the crypto investment, you will never be able to get the profit out of your investment. Having said that, it is a very normal thing that for investors to spend time in Bitcoin and earn. Long term investment is one great way to stay active in Bitcoin and escape the fluctuations in the prices.
