1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Primedice.com - High Rollers! on: March 15, 2019, 07:37:14 PM
That profit was so huge. Those high rollers are having a blast gambling big money. That's what I call luck. Congrats to that winner. I wish I can become like that someday when I have a lot of money.
I am truly excited for that gamer and would say that he’s such a lucky chap. This makes me want to resume my old account I have had with primedice. I have been so skeptical about this game but the screenshot have awakened my hope. A very big congrats to the winners, it’s my wish to have something like this someday.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10th anniversary discussion on the birth of BTC on: November 04, 2018, 03:15:59 PM
I still can't believe it has been only 10 years since bitcoin started. It feels like it is such a huge part of the world right now that it must have been decades since the first start of it. Just some persons idea of a decentralized currency became such a huge success and now globally known and even used almost in any country. We are here talking about how we are in a bear market and how the price dropped insanely but in reality think of all the coins you mention and think how long it has been since the first day. Ethereum was just couple cents only 3 years ago and now look at how big it is, yes it dropped from over a thousand dollars to 200 dollars but it also spiked from couple cents to 200 dollars in couple years. All these altcoins we cry about has increased thousands of times in price since the first day and they are just barely new things.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain help eliminate the basic problems in the world? on: August 10, 2018, 08:22:28 AM
If we are talking about the government using blockchain as means of cost-cutting and being more efficient I think it would benefit the poor overall and the before expense being used before can now be shifted to other projects of the government which will benefit the poor and the needy. But I don't think it will be enough to solve the poverty situation overall as I don't think that the expense being save will be big. Solving poverty will always depend on how big and how will the government manage their budget on focusing amd solving it.
Well, that would be for a government that is willing to work to bring a huge solution to its people and solve some economic issue going on in the world. As it is, it is obvious that so many of the leaders in the corrupt nation will still find a way to do whatever it is they have been doing. Like you mentioned in your last statement, it still will all ball down to how things are managed and sure, blockchain technology may bring about transparency and accountability, but it would not just solve the world problem fully.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin to soar again? on: May 02, 2018, 09:49:39 AM
There will be no doubt that bitcoin will certainly soar again but the million dollar question is "when". We all know bitcoin has the bright future. It means it will have huge prices in coming years. So, at any time bitcoin may start soaring again like how it performed last year.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin change the distribution of wealth in the world? on: April 09, 2018, 11:26:18 AM
Does anyone have information whether bitcoin would distribute wealth more equally across people than the current wealth distribution?

Or would the distribution be even more unfair?

For some reason, it will still a little bit unfair.  Wealthy people do have an edge because they can buy many bitcoin right before hand.  Unlike other people who have bitcoin just because they do some things in exchange for their service.  But as to opportunities to earn, it is given to all equally.

I think wealth is not distributed evenly because many of us are not connected with bitcoin and with it they will not feel the benefits. Many bitcoin users are now rich. And wealth is in the hands of people who are eagerly working hard to make more money
Wealth can never and will never be distributed evenly. I feel we are trying to paint some picture here and forgetting reality at the same time. One fact here is that, there is just no way will some people not always be richer than the others. Some will take a great opportunity at an early stage, some will join in the middle of it and the rich ones will always have a good amount to buy at any time, those who lag behind and lower in class at the same time will still remain on that level.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 10, 2015, 07:11:17 PM
I think that 1 year from now the price will be almost the same with dumps and pumps.
Really i would like the price to be increased but i doubt.
The only way to have a better success bitcoin is if it is implemented by popular shops like ebay amazon walmart etc.

Those giants will be forced by the bitcoin popularity and bicoin does not need them for a value appreciation. Bitcoin by itself evolve for better price because it has been designed such a way to higher price over time.
