Okey I guess eu isn't redirecting anymore? Atleast my miner seemed to be not mining for projectx. Little info would be nice, had no idea. Also lost remote connection to my host while on trip so didn't even know what might be wrong >.< Just noticed that wasn't receiving payments  Grin

Eu1 is down
6  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Project X] PPS Mining Club: High Mining Rewards *REGISTRATION CLOSED* on: June 29, 2012, 10:55:05 PM
FYI, EU1 is lonely...  It runs fast when I mine on it, so if there is bad VooDoo on that server, please share  Wink

Well I haven't touched my miner since you had issues with dns whatever and only us1 was working so.. Maybe I switch to eu1 since I'm living in europe anyways Grin Just make sure it will get just as much love as us1! Wink

Anyone know how to detach a session with putty, please let me know...

u sirious?  Shocked

8  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Setting BAMT Rig to static IP address on: June 26, 2012, 06:12:13 PM
Its extremely easy: connect display to rig, right click on network icon in taskbar, set your connection to static ip.

Easy? Finding the keyboard and monitor is easy? Ohh and the mouse too!? C'mooon... and most likely those settings are also reseted upon reboot just like modifications in interfaces

Easier way.. Write script to modify /etc/network/interfaces upon boot and reboot network after making changes. No freaking monitors or mouses needed - only ssh access

/etc/network/interfaces
Code:
iface eth0 inet static
address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
netmask xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
gateway xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Easiest way... Set static IP from router according to MAC address

I also have an Antec 550w double rail PSU. It -barely- can power 2 5830's without turning off; it requires both cards to be undervolted and virtually no CPU load or the PSU just turns off.

I take that as no then  Grin Well gotta look out if I get better spare PSU somewhere
11  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Project X] PPS Mining Club: Higher Mining Rewards - REGISTRATION CLOSED on: June 08, 2012, 06:29:43 PM
I can access the dashboard, but some can't...  Asks for the password and then nothing... Is that common?

I sign in, it turns black and the text.  I am using chrome.
I tried to access it a couple times with no success. Just keeps trying to load, but never does.

Same here. It was working few days ago but now just hangs when trying to open
12  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Project X] >111% PPS Mining Club: REGISTRATION CLOSED on: June 07, 2012, 04:38:53 PM
Seems to be fine now. I actually have not dropped multiple times to backup pools today, hoooray  Cool

Thanks for the help guys

Still needing information if the PSU is enough. Anyone happen to know how much power 5830 + 5850/5830 eats at max load? (obviously undervolted)  Huh
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Building my little lovely miner on: June 02, 2012, 10:20:32 AM
Thanks for the reply

But why do you suggest getting x16 riser too? I'm still dreaming about having these setup running in the case. MoBo is small, I totally agree but case is pretty big and *empty* at the moment. Looks like that x1 -> x16 riser have 19cm long cable so I think I may be able to set gpu somehow in a case. (Don't really care how that gpu is inside the case as I'm not thinking about touching it anytime soon I get it running  Grin)

Also is "dummpy plugs" or whatever required for a card in x1 -> x16 slot? Currently not having any problems booting without cable in video out but will this situation change with riser?

And the question with PSU remains, better pic here

16  Bitcoin / Mining support / Building my little lovely miner on: June 01, 2012, 06:05:23 PM
Hello everyone,

I've just got my first gpu to mine bitcoins for me. 5830 mining little bit over 300Mhash/s. However I'm thinking about getting another 5830/5850 but my mobo does not have another 16x slot for card. So I've read about these 1x -> 16x risers(?) but does those really work? Also I've msi k9n neo v3 mobo (http://www.easycom.com.ua/mboard/msi__k9n_neo_v3/?lang=ru) and as you can see from the picture 1x slots are pretty close to heatsink so I guess I need some extenders to actually fit a new gpu. Any ideas what do I need to add another card to my computer?

Also is my PSU enough for 1x 5830 + 1x 5830/5850. I currently have this PSU link1 link2. It does not have 4x 6-pin pcie connectors so I guess there may be another problem or do we have lovely molex -> 6-pin pcie adapters?

Also I'm located in EU if some lovely person like to give direct links what should I order to get this working  Smiley

Hellou moredropbox,

At http://bitmit.net/en/trade/i/2019-16gb-extra-dropbox-space/description price is set to 0.99 BTC (= 5.10 $). Can this be changed later on ordering as you are saying to offer "pay what you want"? Too lazy to register yet to bitmit to check it out by myself Grin
