In a few hours I will update Pyramining code to implement some new features.

Update complete. I tested everything and it seems it's working properly. Should you encounter any kind of problems, just report to me.

Nice website. Thanks for the easy to use interface. Smiley

Two Sapphire Radeon HD 6990s are left. Waiting for other offers! Actually this is the best time to mine Bitcoins, because the price is growing!

Did a forum member buy one from you? Would be nice if he would show that you're a valid seller, because $300 for a 6990 seems too good to be true.

I can confirm he is a legitimate seller. I purchased 1 6990 and he sent me a copy of the parcel service receipt. He also sent me a website to track the progress of the package. I will update this thread when I get the video card.

6  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: ★ PAYING 10% MONTHLY INTEREST ON DEPOSITS ★ on: June 13, 2012, 06:58:24 PM
I contacted OgNasty and asked to withdraw my Bitcoins from this fund. He responded in a few hours and sent the entire amount to my interest payment address. Thanks for a smooth process.

For the record, Nathan and I just finished a two card deal and he is paid.

Anyone else?

I sent him a 5870 and a 5830 today. He is a great guy to work with and paid me in the same day.

Yes. It's on the Northbridge chipset. They also come with an air cooling option that vents from a PCI spot on the case. What a cumbersome beast the air cooling option is.  Angry

Thanks for the response. I never even tried installing the extra heatsink.

Bump. This is one of the few motherboards that can support three video cards with a single slot for air or four cards without extenders.
13  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD7 XL ATX motherboard on: May 30, 2012, 03:30:02 AM
Edit: Sold on another forum.

Hello, I am looking to sell my Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD7 motherboard. Info from Newegg here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128442 This motherboard has worked well for the past few months. It needs 8 expansion slots if you decide to put it in a case. I have all the accessories except SATA cables. The warranty is good until sometime next year and it goes by serial number so you don't need an invoice for an RMA.

This is my first sale here but I have some ratings on Heatware: http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=79545 Here is my eBay feedback: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=nathandmiller&ftab=AllFeedback

I am asking $130 USD equivalent in BTC, so somewhere around 26 BTC. Shipping is from Maryland. The box is big so it won't be cheap to send; right now I am only looking to deal in the US48. Feel free to make offers but I might not accept them right away. I am willing to do escrow if someone helps me with it. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

14  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: ~ PAYING 8% MONTHLY INTEREST ON DEPOSITS ~ on: May 01, 2012, 07:34:23 AM
I've sent out 0.01 BTC test payments to all depositors.  If you did not receive a 0.01 BTC test payment, you have about 20 hours to let me know before interest payments are sent.  If you did receive the test payment, all is well and you will receive your interest payment tomorrow.

Received test payment. Smiley

BASE RATE INCREASE:

In order to encourage new deposits and reward all depositors for the growth of this program, I would like to announce a potential increase to the base rate on deposits.  Once there are 2000+ Total BTC Held in Deposits listed on this thread, the base rate will be increased from 8% to 10% for all depositors.

Note:
Having 2000+ Total BTC Held in Deposits will also enable the Reserve Fund to grow much faster, which will benefit all depositors.

The base rate may be lowered back to 8% if Total BTC Held in Deposits fall below 2000 BTC for a prolonged length of time.

Wow, what an incentive!! Bump for a great guy and a fantastic program.

You should probably also mention the p2pool downsides. Someone mining at deepbit for a while might not be used to the variance. Don't want to give anyone unrealistic expectations and put them off p2pool once they experience it.

I am willing to give it a shot because I realize the community and market are growing. Deepbit is probably the most convenient (at least in my experience between deepbit, slush, and btc guild). I have read that some people fear that if deepbit grows too large then it would compromise the success of other pools. Please correct me if I am wrong, I am still learning. Thanks. I might look into p2pool sometime this weekend.

You should not use deepbit.

They're too big and therefore bad for bitcoin as a whole.

Use p2pool instead.

Can you direct me (us?) to a beginner's guide for p2pool? I haven't changed pools in a couple months so it might be time to do it.

Why 24h deepbit.com gives 1.5 BTC and btcguild.com gives 2.3 why such difference ?
On deepbit.com is more speed then on btcguild.com.

How are your miners configured? If it's Proportional in deepbit then there is a bit of luck involved: have you noticed the percentages in the Stats section? The second one, Average in the last 24 hours, seems to directly affect your 24h profits. If it's a negative percent then you can expect to get a little more than the calculated estimate for your current hashing speed. For example, my single 5870 at 447mh/s is expected to make 0.26 BTC/24h. Over the past couple days the stat on deepbit has been between 0.22 BTC and 0.31 BTC per 24h. I have used BTCGuild but I prefer deepbit for the chance of getting a better payout.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 4 GPUs problem on x38/ich9r mobo on: April 20, 2012, 04:37:48 AM
Have you tried downloading the most recent AMD driver 12.3? I started with 11.9 then recently switched to 12.3 and, at least with DiabloMiner, I do not have the CPU core utilization bug with a 5870 and a 5830. Also both cards are detected at Windows startup so there's no need for dummy plugs. If you give it a shot, I would completely uninstall your current driver version and the SDK. With 12.3 you don't need to download a separate SDK, just use the one included in the main installer. Good luck!! Let us know if you get it working.

Thank you for creating this thread in the new users section. It is valuable information.

I had a negative experience a few months ago when sending some Bitcoins. This was in January and the USD exchange rate was just above $6 per BTC. I found a classified ad on bitcoinclassifieds for a HD 5970. The guy wanted $125 for his card, so I contacted him hoping to get a deal. I sent 21 BTC to the address he provided after a few emails. Fast forward a couple days, no more email contact. I sent multiple messages over the next week with no responses. Yep I got scammed, and I hope nobody ever has to go through it. Good luck everybody!!
