1  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: announcement: the international "when-bitcoin-reaches 1000,- $ party" on: July 06, 2014, 11:45:13 AM
Are you still taking reservations? If yes, 2 tickets for me.
2  Local / Biete / Re: Samson Meteor Mic wie Neu mit Tischstativ on: June 22, 2014, 05:47:39 PM
Für 0,1 BTC würd ich's nehmen.
3  Local / Biete / Re: Bitcoin T-Shirts - Ab sofort erhältlich !!! on: June 22, 2014, 05:29:49 PM

4  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: June 09, 2014, 08:12:07 PM

Lies mal diesen Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495672.0

Bin aber auch überinvestiert.
5  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: POLL: What to name UK Bitcoin exchange on: April 21, 2014, 04:34:27 PM
britcoin.co.uk would be a cool name, but it already existed some years ago, and was then renamed to intersango.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin transcended me to superhuman status on: April 04, 2014, 08:52:50 PM
Don't worry about it, this happens to everybody who is using bitcoins. All bitcoin users have made exactly the same experience.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name something you've actually BOUGHT with bitcoin on: March 30, 2014, 04:58:48 PM
I bought several oil paintings that I've put on the walls of my living room.
8  Economy / Goods / Re: [Art]experimental Art on: March 30, 2014, 04:43:47 PM
Hi,

Below is a pic of "Sunflare" in my living room. On the photo there are some light reflections that make some parts of the image look kind of "milky". This "milkiness" is not present at all when you look at the painting in reality. This must be an issue with my camera.

Shipping took about 4 days, and the packaging was obviously done by professionals.

The painting looks really great in person, and I am very happy to have it on my wall.

9  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet which uses "," as radix point? on: March 28, 2014, 10:22:24 PM
Yes - in Multibit, the comma is used as radix point when the language is set to German.
10  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: March 26, 2014, 07:40:25 PM
Hi,

In the Download section on multibit.org, it says "Compatible with Mac OS X Intel 10.3-10.8."
Is Mavericks unsupported, or is this just an omission?
11  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Computer hardware store in EU + pay with bitcoins on: March 22, 2014, 02:23:38 PM
Besides the three I've mentioned above, http://az-europe.eu also sells computer hardware for BTC, but I haven't tried them yet.
12  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Computer hardware store in EU + pay with bitcoins on: March 21, 2014, 10:01:48 PM
http://bitelectronics.net (already mentioned above)

http://shop4coins.de

http://hardware.bitstores.de

I have ordered stuff from all 3 of them (but only smaller items). All transactions went very smooth with no issues at all.
13  Economy / Goods / Re: Trying to purchase Medium sized Bitcoin T-shirts (under $18.00) on: March 20, 2014, 09:00:58 PM
When using BitPay if I don't have the BTC-qt on the computer I can just copy the payment address and manually send the amount outside of the BitPay window?

Sure, you can copy the address to the clipboard and send the amount manually. A few seconds after you sent the BTC to the correct address, you should see the content of the BitPay window changing and displaying a success message.
14  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Necktie? on: March 16, 2014, 02:17:46 PM

15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptocafe (New Exchange for Goods and Services) on: February 24, 2014, 09:47:22 PM
Looks very promising!

I particularly like the idea to offer a filter by location. Most other exchanges don't have that. It would be great to be able to filter for "European Union" or "Europe" - you would get more results than for a single country, and you don't have to deal with customs when shipping within EU, plus the shipping fees are relatively moderate.

16  Economy / Goods / Re: [SELL] Bitcoin abstract paintings on: February 24, 2014, 09:32:49 PM
doe she have any website to display her other works?

I am interested in the other works, too (not quite sure why paintings sold for bitcoins need to have the BTC symbol painted on them).
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoins ever replace conventional money? on: February 09, 2014, 12:47:23 PM
Can bitcoins replace conventional money? No, for the simple reason that governments will never accept bitcoins for paying taxes. As long as you have to pay taxes, you will need your national currency for that (except if you can convince the government of your country to give up the national currency, or to abolish taxes altogether, which seems unlikely).

Can bitcoins complement conventional money? Yes, they have already started doing so and will hopefully do so to a larger extent in the future.

Also, pluralistic systems have always proven more successful than monolithic ones. Why not have pluralism with respect to currencies?

19  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Strategie? on: January 06, 2014, 10:53:05 PM
Die beste Strategie ist m. E.: Billig kaufen, teuer verkaufen.

Gute Strategie, mache ich auch so.
20  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 03, 2014, 06:57:19 PM
