Hi:

We have launched http://www.SatoshiWheel.com for public beta.  Please let me know if you encounter any issues.  We have already been through a limited unit test with external testers but need to see if there are any issues with a slightly larger audience.

Please post any issues here or send me a private message.

Thanks,

3  Economy / Services / [CLOSED] HIRE Site Testers (3) on: July 17, 2012, 10:30:55 PM
Hello:

We now have the testers we need; thanks!

I am looking to hire three testers to test a new game on Saturday, July 21. The time is to be determined but will more than likely be between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pacific Time (USA). The testing should take no more than 1 - 2 hours.

The testers will be testing the overall user experience, usability and functional aspects of the game site.

You will be provided with explicit directions/test cases/scenarios to perform.  You will also be required to provide detailed feedback. You'll need to be readily availiable via email, this forum or IM during the testing.

We will provide you with the BTC to play the game.

You will be paid 5 BTC for your work and be allowed to keep game winnings.

Please send me a private message if you are interested.

7  Economy / Services / Re: Announcing BitcoinAdvertisers.com THE MONEY MAKING MONSTER! on: June 19, 2012, 03:17:02 AM
So, I got the ad upload to work and made payment ... however, the ad does not appear to be running and nobody is reponding to the support ticket trying to verify that the upload worked.

I'm beginning to think that the links on here relating to Bitcoinadvertisers being a scam may be true, which would be very unfortunate.

If Andrew or anyone else from the company would respond it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, please return the 3 BTC payment.

Thanks,

Sierra

Andrew:

I'm having trouble getting an image ad started. I have confirmed the size is correct (461 x 60).  When I click to the next step it just opens a page and says ERROR.

"So if you dont spend your coins in 96 hours you lose them?"

I knew my statement leading up to that was an issue as soon as I walked away from my computer...

Having the entire chain does more disservice than service to the bitcoin concept.  I would think that only the unconfirmed transactions would be in the chain..and the ones that don't confirm after 96 hours should roll off as well.  IMHO the chain should be used as a means to manage transactions and not as an audit trail.

It is named in the spirit of Dr. Nakamatsu, a famous Japanese inventor. The '5' represents the five markets that players can place predictions for.

Hi:

I am seeking a developer to automate the functions outlined on http://nakamatsu5.com/ and allow the user to specify the prices for the bet and the desired payout.

I also have several other projects in the queue.

To be honest, using GLBSE was considered. However, there wasn't quite enough market movement over the course of the day plus there is a *remote possibility* that someone could maniulate the market once we get out of beta and support much larger wagers.

Hi:

The game is simple: You place a bet on whether a particular stock or stock market price will end each day above, below or at the same level as noted in each of the five opportunities.  If you bet correctly then you will double your BTC each day.

We list a combination of stocks and stock markets. We allow you to predict the coming week's outcome.  For each you can choose:

Rise/Fall: Whether the stock or market will rise or fall from the listed starting price at the end of the trading week.

Higher/Lower: Whether the stock or market will end higher or lower than the target price at the end of the trading week.

Ends In/Out: Whether the stock or market stops inside/stops outside the price range at the end of the trading week.

With regard to trust..trust, as we all know, is earned. I would encourage people to place small wagers at first to allow us to build trust.

The goal is not to take advantage of people but to build a long-term viable business. I'm not interested in screwing over people over 5 or 500 BTC when there is a long-term opportunity to earn far more.

However, I realize the nature of bitcoins and how people can be hesitant to let go of even a small amount.  This may all sound like rhetoric but it's as truthful as it gets.

Thanks,

Sierra
