Oooh

We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but
You're too shy to say it
Inside, we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it

And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

(Ooh, give you up)
(Ooh, give you up)
Never gonna give, never gonna give
(Give you up)
Never gonna give, never gonna give
(Give you up)

We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but
You're too shy to say it
Inside, we both know what's been going on
We know the game and we're gonna play it

I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

I figured that pirate had a lot of coins.. But, I had no idea that he had control of so many that it would make the market react this much... Or at least the perception. If/when Pirate starts paying people, I hope that they re-invest into things like GLBSE and other bitcoin related ventures.

Shallow pool means big players make big waves.

Rumour has it he controls approx 4% of total pool of available bit-coins, shifting even 2% would make some significant waves...

I doubt he'll try a fake "crowd source for lawyer funds"

to do that you need a lawyer, a real one. That's something that can be verified and real lawyers have some skin in the game so without a guarantee of at least tens of millions there is no way a real lawyer would be the front for a con.
The pay off, to risk ratio is too low.

There are plenty of other scams he/they could run though.
6  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: weird blockchain.info address problem on: July 03, 2012, 03:17:00 PM
I can confirm there was a bug related to address validation, it should have been fixed earlier today. Please clear your browsers cache and refresh to page.

If it still doesn't work a workaround for now is to add the address to your address book then choose the label form the autocomplete dropdown.

Ahh yup, resolved.

yeah I cant even send coin to my MtGox account ( 1Dppw24tw2eDPepXFganZLJvE6WmPj44vF ) from BlockChain.info

Its all locked up with nowhere to go (except Satoshi dice :-P )

yeah I always double check that, that's not it.
I've found another deposit address that doesn't work from BlockChain.info, StrikeSapphire.com

interesting.. I just generated a deposit address for bitcoingamer.com and Blockchain.info is telling me that is an invalid address as well..

At a guess I'd say BC is broken.
10  Economy / Web Wallets / weird blockchain.info address problem on: July 03, 2012, 12:57:37 PM
I'm fairly new to the BTC scene, but have been lurking around the edges for a fair while.

I generated a new account at :
https://bitzino.com/blackjack
and it gave me a deposit address to use ( 1FVRij1uYQ4E823kwGV55QZQft9QVTJV23 ) but for some reason I cant send to it.
If I try I get the following:

With a mate I have checked it by sending coin to that address via MtGox and it worked.
and the owner of the site said:

Thanks for reaching out! I just reconfirmed your deposit address with the `validateaddress` bitcoin command, and it said your address is indeed valid.

I'm glad you got it working with mtgox, but I'm curious what the deal is with blockchain.info! If you find anything out, please do let us know!

Regards,
Gabriel

I've flicked an email to blockchain.info telling them but no response yet.

Any idea's?
