3  Economy / Goods / Re: [Group Buy] Casascius Silver 1 or 1/2 Oz Physical Bitcoins (UK/EU/WW) (ORDERED) on: September 27, 2013, 11:57:25 AM
The 0.1's are out and the prices for 1 and 0.5 have been lowered.
Would like to see your end-customer prices Smiley

Ah, I see! I checked the casascius website before posting but obviously I'm going blind Wink

I'll see if there are any UK/EU-based group buys and might start one if not.
4  Economy / Goods / Re: [Group Buy] Casascius Silver 1 or 1/2 Oz Physical Bitcoins (UK/EU/WW) (ORDERED) on: September 27, 2013, 11:51:23 AM
Thanks for the feedback guys! Glad everybody seems to have received their coins and are happy with them.

Due to one mix-up (swapped two orders) I only have 2 1BTC and 1 0.5BTC coins left that I want to keep.

When the 0.1BTC coins are out I'd be happy to run another group buy Smiley

Updated, looking for 4 GB or 8 GB modules. Any offers?
6  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] IN-HAND many BFL Singles @ 12 btc ea. no PSU (John K Escrow) on: September 23, 2013, 03:32:26 PM
I'm beginning to think JohnK is the BFL of escrow.  The guy simply does not respond.

Hey, be careful with statements like that. John K has excellent reputation on the forum, really second to none. How long has it been since you messaged him? You have to allow for real life every now and then Smiley

9  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] DDR3 8 GB RAM Modules (UK) on: September 07, 2013, 10:34:48 AM

11  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] DDR3 4 GB or 8 GB RAM Modules (UK) on: September 05, 2013, 01:22:08 PM
Hi, I'm looking for 4 GB or 8 GB DDR3 RAM modules. Anybody got any for sale? I'm not really interested in anything smaller (2 GB or even 1 GB).

Cheers
Pete
12  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BFL Single SC 60GH/s August Pre-order #48xx for Monarch Upgrade on: August 30, 2013, 07:01:39 PM
you will go through customs anyways, and you will pay even more for monarch..... I wont play the ROI game, especially now that bitfury surprised us all, I will offer 15 BTC and take the risks, my friend have a 7 august pre-order so when they ship his order I will know that your Pre-order is already shipping.

can you post some proof of your order number and date, if we make a deal I will contact Johnk and provide all details.

Well, I thought of the upgrade as a new order and therefore the buyer would go through the customs, not me.

15BTC sounds reasonable, I'll just do some maths regarding customs & shipping. Let me sleep on it.

I PM'd you the redacted screenshot of the order.
13  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BFL Single SC 60GH/s August Pre-order #48xx for Monarch Upgrade on: August 30, 2013, 06:12:39 PM
what are you asking ? willing to do escrow ?

I would accept 20BTC right away. Escrow is possible (although I was hoping my rep to be good enough by now).

The reason I would prefer selling for Monarch upgrade is because there would be no customs charges/re-shipping.
14  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] BFL Single SC 60GH/s August Pre-order #48xx for Monarch Upgrade on: August 30, 2013, 06:04:28 PM
where are you from (US,EU?) when exactly did you pre-order, if I get a reasonable price I will buy your single without upgrading.

I'm in the UK, the pre-order is from 9 August 2012.

Depends what's your idea of reasonable price Smiley Offers?
15  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] BFL Single SC 60GH/s August Pre-order #48xx for Monarch Upgrade on: August 30, 2013, 01:17:49 PM
Would anybody be interested in buying my 60GH/s single pre-order to upgrade to the 600GH/s Monarch? Smiley

There's not much time left as they're around 2 weeks of orders away from shipping mine (1 year and 1 month after pre-ordering...  Roll Eyes )

Will consider offers starting at 12BTC or equivalent in fiat (preferred, actually).

Pete,

Where did you get the photo of the 1BTC silver coin from? The edges of my coin holograms have been lasered and this one has not?

Also can you point me at a link where you go the air-tite capsules from and with what size ring insert.

Thanks.

PM'd, but just for the record:

I used the photo from Mike's blog post: http://casascius.wordpress.com/2013/06/27/silver-coins-now-here/
I think Mike started laser-melting the hologram edges after the recent discovery that the holograms can be peeled and replaced fairly easily without detection:
http://bitcoinexaminer.org/defcon-hacking-conference-casascius-physical-bitcoins-get-cracked/

I ordered the ringed coin capsules from here: http://www.coingallery.co.uk/air-tite-ringed-capsules-37-c.asp
They are Lighthouse (Leuchtturm) capsules. You need 39mm rings for 1BTC coins and 30mm ones for 0.5BTC

Best regards
Pete
