1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is the Bitcoin value struggling to rise? on: June 03, 2012, 04:45:49 AM
So many words. yet nothing was said read.

FTFY.

the most important thing that needs to be understood about Bitcoin is this -- it's as stupid as any other currency at the end of the day.

You think it's stupid to have a unique token that represents value? Why have social groups been remaking currencies since the beginning of time then? Or why are IOUs so ubiquitous across cultures? It has to be to fill some needs like the ability to share a basis point of value and simplify transactions perhaps; You no longer need to know how many eggs for a chicken, or how many chickens for a pig, or etc ad infinitum, just how many of whatever the currency is?

To be clear I'm arguing from a number of perspectives here:
a) Some currencies are better than others and
b) Having any currency is likely better than none and finally
c) It's easier to carry a pocket-full of cash or a smartphone into a shop than a bushel of bacon.

Why do you think currencies are stupid and I won't accept that you're a troll as the answer?

I don't care what you accept. That's the point.

You're a complete and total loser whether it's US dollars, or your cryptocurrency. That's the thing buddy. No one fucking cares.

Life is more than your little monopoly games and gimmicks. Fuck you if you think this stupid cryptocurrency is really revolutionary. It's impractical, it's not intuitive, and most importantly there is no way to earn these stupid things even if it was so great. Only nerds with absurd hashing power get these dumb little coins. So freaking retarded. and the more people criticize you, the more you gain steam it seems. That's fine too. I mean, if you really believe in these things I'll be glad to knock this Bitcoin scam until the value rises to $50 USD per coin. Why not? I mean I'll be like you, build a mining rig or buy an ASIC even, and convert all my coins to USD. But I will be laughing to the bank if that ever happens.. I'm 100% sure it won't. Your bit currency is junk just like your soul.

Lmao...

The more I think about this dumb Bitcoin, I continue to discover further and further how dumb it is.

For one thing, the dollar is soaring.

Can you show me where you're seeing a soaring dollar?

I'm looking at the month of May 2012:

http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=UUP&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p08517603754

The dollar has been in a bull market since mid-2011 when it made its low. Yet, as I said, I don't expect to see the really major moves up until the YOY(PPIFGS) moves decidedly below -6% and the broader economy sinks into a deflationary spiral.

That's an ETF. Not a reliable measuring device.

Good points so far.

Something is holding it back.

What is it?

Fear that something better could come around? Doubting that. I think there is a catalyst keeping this down, just not sure what it would be.

Are you a programmer?

Cause I'm seriously looking for one who can take on a quick Bitcoin website project.

PM me for my MSN!

So useful.  Roll Eyes
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My dilemma - some advice needed on: June 02, 2012, 07:10:13 PM
So I have a 400.00 a month office space lease. I used it for my work when I am not at my onsite job. I no longer need this space since acquiring a bigger home. Now I have approx 8 months left on this lease. Basically I am paying 400.00 a month for it to just bite the dust. Electricity, as well as utilities are all payed for by the landlord.

I have been bitcoining, for about maybe a month now I run about 800 mhash. I get about a coin every 2 days, now this obv doesn't equate to 400.00 a month. For all the pros here, what is some good advice, should I invest in some more mining rigs, approx how much mhash would I need to accomplish to go over 400.00 a month. Or would I be just better off paying the 3200.00 to break the lease?

I really enjoy bitcoining, but I am seriously wondering if this office space would benefit me in any way.

You're screwed. But isn't that what Bitcoin is all about? screwing yourself.

If you were to attempt to set up a 5 Ghash mining operation as one suggested, that would be a huge risk considering what it would cost you in time, money and energy to do that, and only to see that the day you got it all set up, Bitcoin value falls on its face.

Loser.

Just take your losses and move on if you have a clue.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Why Bitcoin won't succeed on: June 02, 2012, 06:53:18 PM
Take me for example, No one needs me for anything. Thus, Bitcoin won't succeed.

My argument is solid.

The winds of change may be here. Why build a windmill? Better to die at this point.

Why reinvent the wheel without first bringing justice to the ones who broke it?

Face it. If people could work for US dollars that would support everything they want in life, the world would not need to reinvent the wheel, such as what is being done with Bitcoin. You must face reality - no one wants your work. You are probably useless regardless whether it be Bitcoins, Euros or US dollars. No one cares about you. You are nothing. You just do this because you're bored. Which makes you not any different than a prostitute who is paid for doing what she likes.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: when will bitcoin become practical for every day people? on: June 02, 2012, 05:48:38 PM
never is quite a long time! as I noted on a previous thread someone said "why are you here at all-still"
By answering your own question (immediately) shows a closed mind and its a bit sad really. Still, ignoring your answer a more appropriate  view is "never say never". As the depression deepens merchants must cut costs to survive. BTC has almost no transaction fee's and no call backs- its a no brainer- so a few years is my guess. reg

Out of all you wrote, I found not a single valuable piece of information.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who's used 5Lines.net on: June 02, 2012, 04:57:41 PM
hmm... if their algorithm is so great, why sell it?

Einewton can you post some of their predictions for today so we can see how they do? Winning the past 5 games sounds good. but what if you're being paid to promote it and you're just lying?

Guys with the cameras are douche bags.  I dislike "we are change" and "Occupy" even more now.

Yeah they were full of fail.

The interviewers got his attention when they mentioned "New World Order".

the pause he made when they asked him something, was a pause of pity toward their ignorance. although this Lord Jacob does not come across to me as a patron saint, he had less of a chip on his shoulder than you would expect. he appears more courteous and genuine than I've ever seen of Barack Obama.

how did I get 22 reads already? can you say rigged?

anyway back to the point. is bitcoin an even bigger joke than the US dollar? I would say it's safe to say so.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / when will bitcoin become practical for every day people? on: June 02, 2012, 07:44:36 AM
trick question (never).
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to see how many bitcoins I can get just by asking on: June 01, 2012, 06:24:36 PM
Getting no bitcoins from no one would render a positive result to the experience: you would get shocked by acknowledging that no one cared to send any.
But if you already received coins, then the experiment is completely bogged. It isn't any shocking.

How do you know what shocks me? The only thing shocking was the moment I got on my comp, waking up this morning, was when the transaction came in. I was shocked about that to be honest.

I don't know (or even care) what shocks you.
I wrote what would have shocked me.

Lol.

"you would get shocked"

Your words, buddy.

Yup, quite right: my words = my opinion.
If the word's weren't mine, than it would be your opinion, not mine! Wink

You're an idiot.
