Is there a problem with the pickup of incoming Bitcoin payments into accounts on the exchange today? I paid a bunch of bitcoin to my Intersango account earlier today and as far as my bitcoin client is concerned it is confirmed, it definitely went to the address associated with the account on the accounts page, kind of getting a little concerned it is not showing up after over 40 confirmations it is usually a lot quicker than this.

Dipswitch settings:
To the front (side with usb) both dip banks all ON.
the 2 in the back: 1 off, 234 on

The dip switch settings near the power:

Left side       right side with usb
432 on  1 of, 4321 on

So I've got SW2 and SW5 all set on. SW3 and SW4 have 1 off and 234 all on. When I run cgminer, the LEDs next to SW2 and SW5 go out and will flash blue when a share is found. However the LEDs next to SW3 and SW4 basically stay orange and seem to do nothing. Now if I set SW3 and SW4 to all on when cgminer starts the LEDs will go out and will flash blue when a share is found. Just wondering what is the correct setting...

There is a CGminer (Windows) for the 50MHz shipping configuration now on the support page.
Any change you guys could post a diff of the CGMiner code so we can port into the 2.4.x release of CGMiner

For all Cairnsmore1 Users:

1. Install the drivers so that the cairnsmore1 SPI, JTAG and Port A / B show up
2. Install the drivers so that the 4 com ports show up
3. run cgminer with commando line: -S "\\.\COM22" -S "\\.\COM23"

(I had com ports 21 to 24, it only started with the two middle ones)

The hashrate displayed by cgminer is way off, but that hash rate is estimated anyway afaik. (380 Mhash/s per "icarus" baord)

6 cairnsmore1 diff1 shares so far and counting

I take my major fail/minor fail totally back Wink

Are you using a stock cgminer? I've got mine installed but cgminer is saying test Failed on comm port with get 00000000, should: 000187a2

Looks like Intersango's bank got things sorted..

Quote
Hi,

The issue was finally fixed at 10AM today. All payments have been imported. Payments out will be processed tonight. If your bank imports Faster Payments during non banking hours it should show up tonight. Otherwise, expect it tomorrow before noon.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We have been assured by our bank representative the next time there is such a problem, be it technical or otherwise, we can call him directly about the issue and he will see that it is fixed in a more timely manner.

Again, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerely,
Team Intersango

Just out of interest did Metro Bank fix their issue yesterday as they mentioned they would to you guys?
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intersango Withdrawals on: May 25, 2012, 08:44:53 AM
I don't see their online banking being down, there would be a message here: https://corporate.metrobankonline.co.uk/

@phantomcircuit: if there is something else going on, like they locked your account because of something, then just tell us the truth, so people stop sending money to the account, and not let us believe "Online banking is down", when I see it isn't. They would have put a message on their login page, wouldn't they?

I'm sorry for not fully believing, but if we put our money in there, we need to know exactly what's going on. I don't believe a major bank has online banking down for more then a few hours - they'd be out of business soon. Does it make headlines of newspapers in UK already that Metro online banking is down so long? In Poland it would.

Metro Bank are a very small player in the UK, they have only been around maybe 3 or 4 years at most I think and have just 12 physical branches in the entire country, for instance compare that to Barclays who have over 1600 in the UK. Plus we've better things for the news here, the impending collapse of the Euro is center stage.

Everything looks fine until you actually try to login, one of the pages simply infinite loops.

Funny Metro Bank have one of their major sales pitches they are more available than other banks, longer hours, branches open weekends and Internet Banking and yet their Online site is stuffed up for a week.. I assume they know about this and have given some reason why?

Oh and I hope they don't force you to have that Trusteer Rapport installed to access their online banking, it has to be the worst piece of crap security software ever.. You want to have a laugh watch this.. http://youtu.be/EimZQgt7WPg Takedown of it at a security conference last year..

Hmm.. Figures...
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Intersango Withdrawals on: May 24, 2012, 09:29:23 PM
I've had a withdrawal request in with Intersango now for 7 days and I was wondering if anyone had anything out of them in the last week or so. Had some previous withdrawals with them fine to a UK bank account but this last one seems to be taking a long time, they have previously been pretty swift with the withdrawal requests... Raised a support request with them too and no response from them yet?

So I thought I'd see if anyone else who uses them has had this issue in the last week...

Basically you may not be doing the image to USB correctly, for windows https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer is best for writing the image or on Linux or OSX use the command line tool dd.

DD is fairly straight forward to use. just drop the USB disk into the machine and do 'dd if=bamt-05c.img of=/dev/<usbdevname>' where usb dev name is the device name for the device e.g. sdb to make /dev/sdb or similar. On OSX it will likely be something like /dev/disk4 or similar.
