1  Economy / Gambling / Advertising in Land Based Casinos on: February 17, 2020, 06:08:14 PM
I am traveling all over Europe playing in big poker events with more than 500 participants each.

I am looking for a deal where I could promote your brand at those events.
As you know this is the only way to promote in casinos where big cash is present.

The deal would be based on some form of reimbursement for me for wearing a t-shirt and a cap with your company logo and name.
For confirmation I will submit invoices and pictures from each venue I will visit.

DM with offers.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Stellar Price Gear up in 2020? on: January 29, 2020, 10:21:18 PM
IMO stellar is the only one lagging with price for now. All other big caps went up for a bit. This market cap is one of the biggest and different type of user base is running the prices, but still it should not stay behind if any bull run is really to come. There are huge perspectives for XML and price is really good now considering other things went for 20-100% meanwhile.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: January 29, 2020, 10:18:55 PM
Most people are afraid to sacrifice jobs to do full time trading, because they don't want to lose both and are very risky.
and indeed if you really want to become a profitable trader, you must have full time in trading without involving work and other thoughts besides focusing on trading and to produce maximum results.

Tend to agree.. However, depending on various factors, you can be a profitable trader doing it part-time (if you are a true professional and have huge capital or at least manage)
But in this case, you may leave the job due to lack of necessity (if you are not a fan of it)
If you have a family you would be really dumb to give up the safety and start whatever occupation that you are not profitable at. Be it trading, starting a company or going instagram influencer lol. You need to be set with your finances and profitable already to take this step. Until then, you can just practice on the side and do it hobby/part-time until your hourly is better than your regular job.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: January 29, 2020, 10:15:49 PM
It is best to combine your s/r levels with some oscillator/momentum indicator. This way you can project some levels to watch and then when you get close to your targets you can use oscillators to time your exits more precisely. Time should rarely be a factor of how long you keep a position unless it was a variable when you started the trade e.g. report is coming out in 3 days and you know moves will occur soon after so you can time stop your trade in 96h for example. If the pattern doesn't materialize in predicetd time then order is not executed and you move on. Other than that, only the price action should dictate what you do.
5  Other / Meta / Re: MY PERSONAL TRAD on: January 29, 2020, 10:12:38 PM
This is troll right? Why would you open thread like this? Note for people: these returns are not real, they are simply impossible and do not engage in any business actions with people who claim so. Better safe than sorry, and this type of brag is not made with good intentions.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: January 29, 2020, 10:07:56 PM
There are obvious pros for exchanges like attracting user base that would be otherwise not interested in the outlet. I used myself 2 or 3 exchanges that I would never registered at if not some shitcoins listings. On the other hand this reduces the liquidity of some other pairs coz speculators split up a lot if there are more options to trade. Simple example, 100 mil capital on the exchange, which do you think will be better for algorithmic strats, the one with 20 or the one with 100 coins? Big names will stay away from shitcoins the same way big brokers don't offer questionable assets. There are special brokers for penny stocks and it's always been like that.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV Could It Reach All Time Highs? on: January 29, 2020, 05:08:57 PM
It is a very bad preposition to bet on something that is basically ran by confirmed liar and scammer. You can't expect for this shit to stay much longer and it's been separated from BTC and going down for quite a bit so a lot of BTC sharks became BSV whales and market is heavily manipulated by it. Do you guys really think that something based on a conflict, lie and with such a stupid name have a long term success?
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: January 29, 2020, 05:04:44 PM

Let's say; Coin A has a positive correlation of 0.89 against BTC price & Coin B has a negative correlation of 0.89 against BTC price.

Are we safe to say investing on both these coins are minimizing the risk; provided that I will have a good research on both these projects to ensure that these are not shitcoins? Ignore the fact that all coins without BTC is a shit (Note for bitcoin enthusiasts).
It does minimizes your risk but this is not as important as things like proper trade sizing or not deviating from your strategy coz of emotions. Correlation is huge anyways in crypto so if you stick to some simple rules like ETH tokens is just ETH on leverage etc. then you should be fine and not over investing in same concepts. Also important thing is not betting against yourself ! You might go ETH long and EOS short while they are aiming for the same market, e.g. steel industry in real life. Spreading between 2 companies in the same sector is actually quite good way of diversification.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth to invest in Dash coin? on: January 29, 2020, 05:03:04 PM
For sure this is not a moment to be getting into it. Most of the profit has been made and you are late to the party. You will be under constant pressure of people who ride on 'in profit' stop loses and can dump any time. Now the trade has much worse risk reward ratio than before and is not much better than 50/50 or a coin toss.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC price speculation on: January 29, 2020, 05:00:49 PM
Well f**k me.  I think one of the the biggest moves in alts could be happening right in front of me and I'm missing it.  Could ETC be the one to flippen ETH?  I mean with it going PoS and all...

And do you guys remember the rumors about Bitmain supporting ETC as the coin for their new ASIC's?
Is this a good thing? ASICs kinda ruined fun for BTC and took away mining from the people and centralized it as the technology was way cheaper for manufacturers then end user. Why would ETC change so much? Curious cos I believe that people are past POS hype and know that interests are just terrible there. Do you really think there is a chance to take over ETH's infrastructure and make developers switch?
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Strategies- Best Practices on: January 29, 2020, 04:30:06 PM
Best practice is using demo account or join some trading competition, look's hard and wasting time but you'll get every experience you need to face market risk. Your list is about analysis and tips to avoid big loss, safety is first thing need to do before replace open position. Read and watch is good but without practice you'll never know market works.
Competitions won't teach much about risk management unfortunately. In these to achieve high places you must go waaay more aggressive as this is what most people will do. Most of competitors will fail and bust, but most profitable/risky strategy will most likely win or place higher than real life strat which has to preserve capital in reasonable manner.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 27, 2020, 11:21:26 PM
A new year and new hope of adopting blockchain and cryptos around the world. Millions of traders or investors are on this Digital Asset Market already.

A good number of people are coming on this market everyday. What are the challenges, regular issues or problems for the traders or investors during investing? Security, High Risk, Scammers, Hackers etc. can be the problems. What do you think?
As for scams, they are as effective if you are going to trade or buy smth or even read the news. You will fall a victim no matter where you are, if you are someone susceptible to this type of actions. Hacks are getting better and better handled as authorities learned to work on it and exchanges gotsome experience as well. Stick to big names and your funds should be secure even in the event of exchange being hacked. There is a big risk tho, as well as profits. This is justa result of high volatility of the markets and has nothing to do with crypto only. It is the same if you are trading penny stocks or some other assets.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie looking for some strategic advice on: January 27, 2020, 11:18:26 PM

1. Long term trades - buy into various currencies where I believe they will increase in value in the long term. I have identified a few and think they may be profitable in 6-12 months or so.

2. Short term trades - I have seen some people describe this as "swing trades", where with some technical analysis I try to buy currency at a low point with an aim for it to increase in value and then sell it. Timescales being a lot shorter; maybe days or a couple of weeks.

3. Identify new and upcoming coins - the idea here is to research coins that are fairly newly launched. I need to do some more research if this were a viable option, but picking the right coin to buy into early could be very lucrative.

4. Short selling (margin trading?) - This is probably not a good idea at this point, I understand the concept of short selling but don't think I'm ready for this yet.

- Or if I'm completely on the wrong track or have missed anything, just let me know!

Looking forward to reading your views. Thank you in advance.

Hi, few words from me:
ad 1. this is fine, fundamental analysis for crypto might be quite easy actually for the beginner. if the team EXISTS and is actively developing the coin then it's better than other 90% of stuff out there to buy. just remember that if you pick this type of timeframe, don't panic coz it may take another 6-12months to straighten up had you been wrong with your assumptions. patience is the key
ad 2. way harder to do, requires strong elementary knowledge and good trading routine.
ad 3. similar to #1. find whatever is delivering on their promises and you already beat the chance.
ad 4. this is #2 basically. idea is the same, doesn't matter if you buy or sell. hard for beginners
ad 2.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who bought Bitcoin in late 2017? Still recovering or fully recovered? on: January 27, 2020, 11:14:19 PM
I actually bought some Bitcoin in the 3rd quarter of that year (2017) and to tell you guys, I'm still in big regrets why I'd never sell it when the price reaches its peak. It was a big mistake but it never gives me losses by then since I sold it early 2018 and the price still in good but it actually most daring if I could sell it when the price is $19k ( it supposed to make it triple from my buying price).
But anyway, it passed already and we'll have to move on and face what is the coming. I know it will be fine in the year and onwards.
Following the same philosophy you might have sold it at $10000 so good for you;) You never try to catch the top. It is very personal and feeling based and usually wrong.. it's better to wait for the top and sell a little after. That way you are not the one selling for 20k, but you are for sure selling at 16k+ and super duper sure you are not the one selling for 10k or even 2k thinking it is the top..
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Can A Trader in this Business Protect Themselves Against Volatility Risk? on: January 27, 2020, 11:11:27 PM
You simply don't make a trade for your whole capital sir Wink This is true for every business. If you are profiting on spread and buying/selling currencies then you are fighting variance by having shitload of money. On the average the scenario you have mentioned will have such an outcome about half the time, the other half buy it back even cheaper and substantially increase your portfolio. You need a stash of cash, and time. You keep both BTC and fiat and simply trade it. You can use simple rebalancing techniques in between to keep your desired fund allocation.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for Beginners? on: January 27, 2020, 11:03:28 PM
Lot of replies here will be buy low sell high LOL,

I will give my honest advice for you. If you want to start trading, start with a small amount of money, experience is the number one teacher in trading, don't listen to anyone! develop your own skill and strategy in trading considering that every individual have different approach to it. As time passes by, make your capital bigger as long as you are ready for it. Make sure you are satisfied with your skill and strategy so that the risk for every trade that you will make will be lessen.

Trading is war of strategy and mind, don't be greedy, set your goals straight! as long as you are following what you want trading will be good to you. If you lose don't stop there's a time in every trader or in majority of the trader that they became broke because of trading. If that scenario happen to you, don't stop! and remember your goals. Trade everyday and make it your passion. Trading is a good source of income as long you know what you are doing.
Agree with you mate, we all started with no knowledge about trading, a beginner must know that we should invest only the amount that we can afford to lose or invest with a small amount only before giving all your bet, for you to be sure that you would not lose everything, also always make a research first before investing especially when that coin is new.
The key is to play with money that you can lose, but you don't want to lose Smiley If it is expandable amount to you, then you will not care and gamble. It has to hurt just a little if you are wrong but not to be life changing in your situation. This would be my most preached advice, paper trade or if you can't do that while being honest to yourself then use your hobby money. If you lose it, you will have this feeling 'i could have gotten something different' for the buck that will make you think about your decisions.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elliott Wave... RSI... MACD ... How much should i rely on them to see BTC move? on: January 27, 2020, 01:58:03 PM
They are just indicators and you need a bunch of them showing signal signs to consider a trade. They all have some % of success and all combined makes for a high probability SIGNAL. This is still not confirmed that it will produce a positive trade. MACD and RSI are popular because they are very easy to understand. Problem is they are only oscillators and they can show you some change in tendencies but there is no way it will be a signal on its own and building strategies based on them is rather bad idea. You can use them as additional filters but not the main source of information.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [Charts] Altcoin Dominance Looking Bullish with Cyrpto Market About To Bullcross on: January 27, 2020, 12:08:45 PM
I'm curious if this is gonna continue into wide market with more and more of new products coming into or if people will finally make up their minds and become BTC // ETH // XRP fans and stick to the big names and start some kind of real competition for BTC. First option would mean we are still very young market that is looking for quick gains and the second options says crypto is growing mature and serious. In first case even if we get a strong altcoin dominance it will be very seasonal and is gonna pull back strongly to BTC in some time. If the money flow centralizes among the big names and spreads quite evenly with some dominant force (probly btc to stay) then it could go on like that for quite some time even with BTC potentially losing it's #1 spot.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who bought Bitcoin in late 2017? Still recovering or fully recovered? on: January 27, 2020, 12:03:19 PM
It's super tough to be holding for so long.. Most of people who bought BTC are down after this time, but this is unfortunately due to lack of knowledge. Almost all of retail traders are loser due to 'careless' strategies like holding. If you don't want to put any effort in it then holding bags for 2 years will become a standard for you. People who bought last year over 10k are kinda sorry too. This will happen all over and over again if you get emotionally attached to your stuff. It is not a binary option and you can manage your variables quite a bit. Price of an asset falling substantially down only created an opportunity to make a profit. Need to get out of 'hodl' mindset for that to work tho.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin's price could crash soon by 20%? on: January 27, 2020, 11:56:07 AM
The reasoning is as good as any.. FWIW I too think we are not at the bottom yet, but only time will tell. If you think about it 'fundamentally' then BTC is worthless, seriously it is.. at least at this point in time. We need people spending, not holding for it to have a real value like fiat money. For now, the only reason to buy is halving, is your friend from work gonna do it because of it? No. Is your family? Rather not. This is catalyst only for insiders who care about BTC daily and it's gonna be a speculation among us. There is no money coming from outside because of this reason and I assure you, most of people you know don't give a donkey shit about BTC right now, coz they still remember x-mas 2 years ago and their / their friends' hopes going thru the window shortly after.
