2  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reputation Feedback for Viceroy. (unmoderated) on: May 22, 2013, 01:43:05 AM
Viceroy sold me a $100 MoneyPack for .95 BTC.

The transaction was very quick. He was a pleasure to deal with.

I sent my BTC first.  He gave the code after two confirmations.

4  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Question - Selling BTC for Moneypack. Possible to get scammed? They sent first. on: May 21, 2013, 03:19:59 AM
How soon should I possibly anticipate a stolen moneypack claim?
5  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Question - Selling BTC for Moneypack. Possible to get scammed? They sent first. on: May 21, 2013, 03:17:07 AM
BTW the gentleman that I traded with had 5 posts....

He has a newbie rapport with me...

I've just strictly done buying / selling transactions with various exchanges, primarily MtGox.  Obviously I need to go back to the drawing board if I want to land these person to person transactions.

Ha. We'll see I guess. $40 is water under the bridge.

Just looking to establish myself here. I've a lot of BTC to trade, but will start as small as necessary and even get scammed on little-league transactions if necessary.
7  Economy / Currency exchange / Question - Selling BTC for Moneypack. Possible to get scammed? They sent first. on: May 21, 2013, 03:05:33 AM
I sold my BTC for a Moneypack. They sent the code first.  I typed it in at my paypal account. It was processed just fine. I sent BTC. Now there is nothing to worry about ya?
8  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: FastCash4Bitcoins - over 290,000 BTC purchased - just 3.49% below spot on: May 21, 2013, 02:11:21 AM
He had funds.

They went down to zero. Tangible must have loaded them again.

now they are down to zero again.

As far as I know, no paypal funds were available today.

10  Economy / Currency exchange / How should a moneypack for BTC transaction go down? I'm selling my BTC on: May 20, 2013, 06:23:52 PM
Hi there. I've done a boatload of trading on exchanges, but am new to person to person trading.

I replied to a moneypack for my BTC post here on the forums.

How exactly should this transaction take place if I do not want to be scammed?

It looks as if I'll need to do these sort of trades more frequently now.

Can someone please explain the bitcoin otc and how to get established?

These questions could possibly fit well in the newbie section, but I feel as if my questions would not be answered as well there.

No, i wasn't on Tor.

I'm quite certain that I did not check "open transaction" should I do this for all future transactions? thanks

 Wink

LoL

Anyway. I'm sure you can tell that I'm new to this. This is my very first time buying and moving bitcoins around. Every single step looked clear to me and was smoothly executed except for the withdraw. This long withdraw is very confusing. I really think I did everything correctly.

I hope they get back to me soon.

:-(

My mt.gox support ticket is over 2 days old

I take it mtgox doesn't like Anime?
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mt.gox bitcoin withdraw to a different wallet not showing up 50hours later on: June 04, 2012, 01:27:38 AM
Was the transfer to another MtGox account? Unless you check "Open Transaction", those are just sent to the recipient internally on MtGox.

He did say that his "other wallet" still didn't have the coins in it. MtGox account or not, the Bitcoins didn't get there.
The question is, what is the other wallet? The other wallet could be a service that uses MtGox as their wallet backend.

My other wallet is on the Silk Road.

Priceless LOL

I'm confused. I'm trying to buy some anime. Anyway, what went wrong?
