lol @ the paypal/VCC dude.  no shame.

i just wanted to pop on here and kiss some ass before i place another order with mateo.   i've ordered these card several times from several vendors on several sites.  first off, non have been able to get them to me in less than two weeks.  no one.  mateo: 2 business days .

most of those vendors charged about $40. mateo: 20 (approximately)

he's johnny on the spot with communication and he does all the addition (don't know if he likes that part or not) for you, lays it out in a message that is easy to understand, and will honor your requests for encrypted communications.

you'd think all these qualities would be easy to come by, well i assure with this fucking deal it is not.    hell, i kind of consider him a partner.  because if he goes away, i am going to have to work about 20 more hours a week for a little while.

i've now purchased these cards for a few vendors here and other places.  this guy is number 1, and its really not even close.   dhl to my door in 3 days, north america.  i'm lucky to get one in three weeks from other vendors.

thanks man.

for every good trader on here, there are ten people trying to steal from you.  really sucks it has become that way.   i'll just be back for bigger trades with escrow, when it really needs to happen.

screw you to any scammers out there reading this.  you ruin shit big time.

6  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: KoukanExchange | MoneyPak for Your Bitcoins | Automated | ONLY 7% FEE!! on: July 18, 2013, 09:03:58 PM
I have used Koukan several times now and it has been VERY reliable.  Usually only takes about 30 minutes.

I was given a moneypak number today that is invalid, but it appears to be a typo.  I'm sure he'll get back to me soon with a remedy.

Only suggestions I'd make (besides maybe doublechecking the pack):

1. Only go out 2 decimals.  Since the smallest moneypaks available are over $200, it can mess with your eyes.  Not to mention some exchangers/wallets don't go out more than 2/3 decimals.   So if you mess up and send 3.113 instead of 3.116.... you can't fix it.   Smiley   And are we really worried about the 10 or 15 cents?

2. The ability to cancel your order.  Once a mistake is made (like I thought I had more money than I did) you can't cancel.  I feel bad tying up that MP while he waits to manually cancel.   Although that is really a problem for him and not me.  Still, like to keep  it "square business."

Other than, this is pretty much as good as BTCPak was while it lasted.  And cheaper too.

Thanks Koukan.  I'll wait to hear from you on this $280 MP typo.

Peace.

TXLegally

Beware of the Juneteenth and all his usernames.  Always, Always operate in Escrow and do a thorough search of the username.
7  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: KoukanExchange | MoneyPak for Your Bitcoins | Automated | ONLY 7% FEE!! on: July 14, 2013, 06:24:08 PM
Juneteenth also stole 1975 USD in moneypak from me.  he claims his account on here was hacked in the 2 hours he solicited my business and took mymoney.   I can't believe the admin is letting this guy work on here.  Hacked his fucking account huh?  Well, if he is too stupid to get a password to withstand a "hacking" then he isn't qualified to trade BTC in the first place.

Come on admin.  Do your jobs.  This is one of the only places that people consider to be completely above board.   If we have navigate through scammers we might as well just send off for moneypaks on blackmarket reloaded or something.   This site's credibility is in the hands of two bit scammers like juneteenth.

I have the PM's.  I've posted them.  If you believe JT's ridiculous account of the events.... which coincidentally keep occurring then i wll gladly shut the hell up.

And I'm not trolling.  I just used Koukan's service for a $400 trade.  All went well and I'm happy that others continue to report Juneteenth in the process.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Member Juneteenth just took my US$425 and sent no 4.0 BTC on: June 22, 2013, 10:40:09 PM
yeah, i'm still waitin on $1975 worth of btc from you.  i can't believe you are still trying to act like nothing is wrong.  are you saying you didn't take the moneypaks form me, just got hacked and then got your account back eh?   yeah that sounds right.  i'll PM you like i have been.

DO NOT TRADE with this guy whatsoever until he pay everybody there money and then would be silly as well.

i can't believe he came back.
9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Member Juneteenth just took my US$425 and sent no 4.0 BTC on: June 21, 2013, 12:06:19 PM
oh, he is definitely gone from this site, under that account anyway.   because with paypal he could bs for a a bit, he just happened to be bullshitting the wrong crowd.   there is enough collective knowledge on PP's process that it was obvious he was using a hacked account.  which can be purchased for about 5 bucks on black market reloaded..... so it is clear that was his game and that is why he wouldn't/couldn't really put any effort in to helping you.   in your case paypal protected the true account owner, and you got screwed in the process.

with me, there is no story to try and stick by like he had an emergency and so he waited etc.   he said he sent the btc.   past tense.   i think we all know the odds of a btc transaction not ever showing up on the blockchain.  odds are even worse that something like that could hapen when sending coin from three wallets to one addressusing three wallets to fund it with.   i would venture the odds are at least 100:1 that all three wallets somehow malfunctioned etc.

he's gone.  if i'm wrong i'll give him 25% for coming back to fix it.   unfortunately  i'm not, he's gone.
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Member Juneteenth just took my US$425 and sent no 4.0 BTC on: June 21, 2013, 02:27:53 AM
I can already tell you its not going to work out.  I'm assuming the problems he had with you is he was using a stolen paypal account or likely some other fraudulent way of doing things through them.  otherwise, I would be very interested in finding out what paypal account your refund is processed through... if it is.

bitcoin is anonymous, but pp isn't.  but i'm gonna give him credit and say he's at least that far ahead of this thing.

and yes, i understand the obvious.  i'm trusting, but it really isn't about that so much.  to be honest its all about greed.  i was in a hurry because those btc stood to make me a nice chunk of change.  instead of waiting for one of the two other vendors on here that have messaged me and are clearly on the level, i just had to get my btc so i could make a cutoff time to get a product by a certain date... and it was about money.    so greed and impatience.  i little stupidity thrown in there and someone who simply doesn't give a shit about anyone but themselves and there you have it.

what's sad is he could have made some good money off me, more than he made today, if he would just actually sell bitcoins to me.   i'm past mad, and i'm not going to cry.   i do know something that he doesn't know about moneypaks, in general, and he did break the law.  bitcoins have a tangible value and everything i do with them is above board. .. err not illegal anyway.

ugh.
11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Member Juneteenth just took my US$425 and sent no 4.0 BTC on: June 20, 2013, 08:19:12 PM
well, i chose to believe juneteenth after reviewing this thread.   mainly because he didn't just go away like a good scammer would.   i guess it takes a guy like me, who simply wants to believe not everyone in this world is trying to fuck people over, to ensure that some of you all use better judgement.

in fact, at this moment i am still giving him the benefit of the doubt..... and its fucking really hard to do.   i was part of the bitinstant fiasco last week and had a couple grand tied up in that deal.  not all of it was mine, and i ended up having to compensate that partner to the degree that i lost a lot of money.  so i decided to try and trade on the forum.  i deal with some of the darker parts of the web, so i'm not ignorant of the rampant scamming that resides there/here.

well, i sent over $1975 USD in MP to june a few hours ago.  he confirmed and sent the btc to my wallet from 3 accounts.   well, there is NOTHING on the blockchain for my btc wallet and it has been an hour and a half.   i am going to wait a couple more hours in the hopes that either:

1.  a slight delay was caused by something unknown.
2.  he used my funds to "pay paul" if you will and its going to take a few hours for him to figure out how to get it to me on time.

i don't like the odds on either of them, but that is all i got really.   because barring that, i just lost about all the money i have, and of course to make it worse.... the partner that got the run around with bitinstant last week?   yeah, he still trusts me because i'm a quality human being and he pitched in half of that money.   so i'm gonna be flat broke, owe a grand, and probably lose a pretty good friend out of the deal.

june,

please restore my faith in humanity brother.   i'm not sure you realize what type of impact this is going to have on my life.   more than a little bit.   for sure.

fuck.

In case anyone feels like following along at home......

okay and yoou should be seeing them soon

That is the last message as he is now offline.  Its been three hours.   My wallet address not showing any activity on the blockchain.  of course i feel stupid for doing it, but man i really am more upset that people just don't care what the effect of their actions are for people like me.

12  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for a TRUSTED buyer on: June 20, 2013, 12:49:12 PM
also needing BTC.  I have two moneypaks... one for 975usd and the other for 100usd.

i can see you are for real.  since i'm still considered a newb, i'll send you the codes cause i have faith.

but i have done extensive trading in the past (selling btc) with the two guys at btcpak and fastcashbitcoin before they exited.   if needed they can vouch for me most likely (heath.simpson@gmail.com so they know who i am).  but since i'm sending you the packs, that's probably not necessary Smiley

let me know.  i have another vendor saying he will do the same, but first com first serve.  i'm kind of in a bit of rush.

thanks.

Gareth,

Thanks for getting two of these pushed through.  I really really didn't want to start badmouthing you guys.  Its just so frustrating.

Okay, you pushed through the two on my registered account:

**This email is to notify you that your transaction was successfully    executed at Jun 11 2013 23:58:43

Transaction ID: 9e3028bf-77e7-46bd-88f8-9ea3e0a8afa8

HOWEVER, there is still one missing.   If you remember, my brother in law helped me out because of daily limits and did two straight to wallet transfers.  Both show as paid on the zip zap verification link you provided, but I have only received one of them.

Because he isn't a registered user I only have the account information and amounts.  I know you sent me 4.6 BTC but since the payments are almost the same I'm still not sure.

The first one went to this address:

19SQSy1ZdaiPL2zYLUS8UYLJweTdQf2YRu

Unless something weird was done, they should both be going to this address.  HOWEVER, i do use one other address..... just in case, that address is:

1AYoAQxwqoYq1B31f3xcQigm7Vg4djC5fF

Either address is acceptable.

Zip Zap Information:

Order 1:
801 720 137
$503.95 (USD)
120 hours
120 hour deadline: 06/16/2013 04:29 PM

Order 2:
330 955 469
$498.95 (USD)
120 hour deadline: 06/16/2013 04:24 PM

Both are in the following name:
Mike Stephens
theconsulate@tormail.org
214-814-5155

However, please email heath.simpson@gmail.com if possible with confirmation.  I am copying support on this as well.

SUMMARY:  You owe me for one of these two payments, although I cannot tell which one.   You can send to either address.  Neither have transactions pending on the blockchain.... but the second one is about to as I send the 8 btc you just sent my mt gox account over to that wallet.   Please help.... and thank you for getting the other two done as well.

I am officially contacting the press as of 5pm.   Everyone from Forbes and WSJ to my local Fox Affiliate and Newspaper.   I don't believe there are only 100 orders outstanding. I don't believe they know how to fix it, and their complete silence today is unacceptable.   I've spent about and hour writing the email that is going to every news outlet I can think of.

I have setup the timeline, the number of people affected.  The replies from Bitinstant are quoted.... from CTO on here all the way to the person answering Q/A before they took it down.

If they won't fix it for us, then I'm sending in the real dogs.  They are gonna mind somebody, even if it isn't me.   I would file theft charges if they were local.   At this point, they've stolen about 1500 USD from me and if it were civil court I would charge them for the GOD KNOWS HOW MANY HOURs spent on here and hitting refresh at mt gox.... fora fucking week.

I'm done with it. At this point it is stealing as far as i'm concerned.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: June 17, 2013, 07:19:01 AM
and we wait.  7 days beginning tmorrow at 4pm.

if the goal was to beat me into submission.   accomplished.  the patch has not been done as it predicted.   i find it hard to believe there are only 100 or so orders outstanding.  i've got 3 of em myself.  and they are of different varieties.  Meaning its not just a BI to mt gox account issue, that is one issue.  There is also the BI to wallet where there seems to be no relation and i have not received anything from coinapult or BI saying i'm in that group of folks.

1/2 gest transactions straight to wallet went through.  the other is in cyberspace.

0/2 sit in the queue as pending.   since tuesday.   i wish i would have just known so i could process refund with zip zap.

gonna reach out privately to BI one last time, but how much can possibly be asked of us as customers.   even if they go through, i'm going to have to buy more because the fluctuation was about 10%since then, and i can't wait days for a fee refund... which includes going through suport again.

little extra just to be safe.

oh, you're gonna learn that one the hardway.  wait til the market starts doing crazy shit.  you'll have 500 in btc when you left for work and have 650 when you get home.... or 400.

advice:  if you are not part of the btc investment community and thus are willing to watch the price... you should probably only get enough for your purchase + 10%USD.  after fees for exchanging and a little cushion for slight market fluctuations.

as a general rule anyway.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: June 16, 2013, 12:07:31 AM
Gareth,

While that still sucks for me, since i represent roughly 2% of the total orders still in failure.... i appreciate the response.  Particularly because you gave us numbers. The only two posts that have mattered thus far is the first one where you identified about 900+ orders failing, and this update.

It gives us hope, and maybe even some perspective.  More than that it makes it look like you know exactly what you are dealing with, but maybe just not sure how to remedy just yet.  I can deal with that.  Before those two posts I really didn't think you all had any idea how many or how much was missing.

Thanks.

And so we wait.....
