3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Prototype phase] Orderbook Dynamics Charts (useful for HFT/algo analysis) on: September 29, 2016, 03:26:20 AM
Very unique and interesting implementation! You go through about why they are different colors, but why are some lines longer than others? Is it the time that the order is available, and when it ends the order was removed?

Exactly. So very short lines are orders that exists only for a tiny while. Do you have any specific use case in mind for these charts?

I need a web scraper tool. It should extract and download photos from the specific pages on booking.com (page URL provided as input for the scraper).

Input: list of URLs, each of them is a hotel page on booking.com (only one type of page)
Configurable: limit the number of photos to download.
Runtime: display the current status/progress.
Output: a directory for every hotel (named with the hotel's name) containing all photos from its page downloaded in full resolution
Platform: Linux (Ubuntu)

Example:
Input: http://www.booking.com/hotel/id/horison-seminyak.html
Output: directory 'Horison Seminyak Bali' is created, all hotel photos are downloaded to the directory in the maximum available resolution (so there would be 46 photos in the directory for this example).

It should allow me to configure the maximum number of photos to download per one hotel. For example if I set this limit to 15, it will finish scraping the hotel after 15 photos are downloaded and move on with the next one.

Language/frameworks are up to you, but it must be executable in Linux environment (Ubuntu).

I'll pay 0.15 BTC for this job.

PM me if you're interested.
6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin deposit detection without bitcoind? on: September 22, 2016, 12:04:09 PM
How about using a free 3rd party service? For example, blockchain.info has their free API to receive payments.
7  Bitcoin / Project Development / [Prototype phase] Orderbook Dynamics Charts (useful for HFT/algo analysis) on: September 20, 2016, 07:42:02 AM
Hi everyone!

I've been developing trading charts that display orderbook dynamics, i.e. how orderbook changes with time. They help seeing how tens of orders are being created, removed and moved from price level to another, all that real-time. Below you can see some screencasts of that in action.

Features.
  • See the orderbook activity represented visually.
  • Watch bots activity, all HFT micro-events on a millisecond scale get charted.
  • Analyse algo-trading patterns of other players on the market.
  • Notice orderbook manipulation activity from bigger players.
  • Real-time

Examples.

Every line on the chart represents an order in the orderbook. Lines are colorized according to the order size.
Yellow to red lines are asks. Yellow ones are small. The redder the color, the bigger the ask size.
Blue to green are bids. Blue bids are small. The greener the color, the bigger the bid size.
White circles are actual trades.

Notice bots moving their orders in funny patterns:

Zooming in to a larger scale:

HFT activity, the bots are playing in the orderbook:

Contact me

Let me know if anyone is interested in the charts.

I'm accepting investments to speed up the development and provide the charts as a product. PM if you're interested in investing.

Cheers!
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOT DEV][NODE.JS] List of bounties inside on: September 19, 2016, 04:30:57 PM
Well. I do work with NodeJS and with cryptoexchanges APIs and I've even been making my own custom trading software, so I can do the work you described. But only if you consider the prices 3 times higher than what you specified. Neither of those is a one-hour job, so really the prices are way too low. Let me know if you reconsider your budget.
9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Project - Bitcoin Dice Website-Seeking Coders/Database Developers Etc on: August 31, 2016, 06:05:24 PM
Hi!

I've developed a clone of satoshidice several years ago, so I have the necessary experience to build one now too. It used a full Bitcoin Core client and its RPC interface to process and send btc payments, and it worked automatically, just like the original satoshidice.
I've been working as a dev for about 8 years. Mainly web dev in the past, lately I work mostly on Bitcoin-related projects: trading software, accepting btc on websites, automating payments, etc. I usually use Node.JS, Python, PHP, also had Ruby projects and several C# works.

Hey sedgydean!

I see the sales of your asset have dropped a little. I've come up with a thought that might be useful. Why don't you buy back your asset from those who desire to sell it? Yes, it will reduce the amount of your working funds, but it would make it fairer for your clients, so that they can exit at a reasonable price. You could put a solid buy order at a reasonable price so that it brings both profit to VULT (from the spread) and keep the asset alive. Because, you know, who'd like to buy an asset that falls in price? Even if it brings dividends. No one. But if the price is more or less solid, if there is a solid price band, then why not. This trick would let all the dumpers just quit and you'll have only those who truly trust your project.

How can we make sure that the BTC address is btc-asia's address? Can the escrow make any public announcement of the whole operation?

Also. btc-asia-escrow@hotmail.com? hotmail, really? There is a website btc-asia.com, is it their website? Why the hotmail then?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS/WTB] FlutterCoin (FLT) TRADING BEGIN for first POB coin. on: March 13, 2014, 11:13:43 AM
I'm still willing to buy.

The market price is yet to be determined, because the were no trades yet.

I'm offering the price 0.00000060 BTC/FLT
I'm buying 0.18 BTC worth of it, that's 300k FLT.

PS: scammers, don't bother again, we'll do it with escrow only.

18  Economy / Services / Programmer looking for Bitcoin related job on: March 11, 2014, 03:20:07 PM
Hi all!

I'm looking for a Bitcoin related job.
So far I worked as a developer (mostly web) using PHP+MySQL, HTML+CSS and Javascript (including AJAX). Also had quite some experience developing scripts and bots on Python, and some experience with Node.js.
I have experience working with bitcoind as I've built an automatic gambling service (dice like), also did integrate Bitcoin payments to several e-shops using blockchain.info API.
I've got Linux administration skills as I've had to manage many VPSs and had Linux on my home computer for a while.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are very interesting and progressive technologies, they inspire me to work in this direction. So I'm looking for opportunities to find my skills useful here. Smiley

I'm ready to be paid in BTC, LTC, NXT or whatever tradable coins you like.

Hi guys!
Real market value? Hm... What market value are you talking about if there are no buyers here yet?

I'll BUY 200k FLT for 0.1 BTC.
