Stats are temporarily disabled, sorry!

I assume this is to hide the fact that BitcoinAdvertising hasn't had a single payout in several days.
2  Economy / Services / Selling ad space on oscry.com on: July 22, 2012, 12:09:30 AM
I'm looking to sell advertising space on http://oscry.com/

Banner (468x60), skyscraper (120x600 or 160x600), and text ads fit well with my layout, but I'm willing to work around other formats as long as they're not too intrusive. I'm open to either CPM or CPC, and I'm willing to consider any offer.

I get 200-350 unique visitors each day, with 650-1250 pageviews, from people who have an interest in Bitcoin and Bitcoin related sites. I can provide other metrics if desired.
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] GetFreeCoins.com - Free Bitcoins Directory on: July 19, 2012, 07:20:09 AM
http://getfreecoins.com/ isn't loading for me.
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a partner that can code for a simple game website on: July 13, 2012, 07:30:04 AM
Pretty sure I've heard of this manner of gambling before. Not a bad idea, and I don't think it would be terribly difficult to code. Either profit sharing or a single payment would be fine with me if I made this for you, though I'm hesitant to name a price before exploring the project more fully.
5  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Still looking for investors for BTCChess.com on: July 12, 2012, 03:54:35 AM
People play there to win BTC?

well that's the idea... but it's still technically in beta. I'm trying to get it off the ground, so you won't really find any opponents yet. and bitcoinadvertising.com is proving to be a disappointment. i'm still working at it though, i think it's a good idea

What's to stop someone from using a chess bot to choose all of their moves for them, giving them a huge advantage over human players? There are some pretty powerful chess engines that are commercially available, and capable of beating the best players in the world. Not to poke holes in what I think is a pretty awesome idea for a site, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll think of this possibility.
6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] skude.se/BTC - an easier way to request your daily free coins on: July 07, 2012, 09:16:13 PM
Could be some bit of third-party code or API they all happened to be using.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another free daily Bitcoin site on: July 07, 2012, 04:30:26 PM
Now running ads via ThroughAds (CPM / cost per 1000 impressions) as well as Operation Fabulous (cost per day), if anyone's interested in putting up some ads. Operation Fabulous has been up long enough to get some traffic stats.
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] skude.se/BTC - an easier way to request your daily free coins on: July 07, 2012, 04:21:56 PM
I got the same error message, but only if the CAPTCHA was entered correctly.

my Chrome bitcoin faucet helper extension has support for this new bitcoin faucet so pick up the extension then head over there to get free bitcoins!

Thanks!

I've got ad-space up for sale now, if anyone's interested, both in CPM (via ThroughAds) and by the day (via Operation Fabulous).
10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Oscry - Free daily Bitcoin, with a referral system on: July 06, 2012, 03:53:41 PM
I've set up a free daily Bitcoin site, which dispenses a small amount of Bitcoin to each visitor once per day. It also has a referral system, which pays out to the referrer at the same rate.

http://oscry.com

I'm still exploring options regarding advertising, but if anyone's interested in running ads on the site and would like to suggest a specific advertising solution then please do so.

Referral system up. See my original post or http://oscry.com/ for details. If anyone has any problems with it, please let me know via PM or via e-mail at bugs [at] oscry [dot] com
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin based advertising solutions? on: July 05, 2012, 06:38:57 AM
Everytime I see these threads I can't help but wonder why people haven't thought to list http://www.bitcoinmagazine.net. We have over 20,000+ active readers for online and 3,000+ for print, are distributed in Barnes & Noble (starting Sept.2012) and have a focused readership where people actually -read- the ads from both inside and outside the Bitcoin community.

I'm looking to publish ads on my own site, though, not run ads elsewhere; at least for the time being. If I develop anything worth running ads for, I'll keep that in mind.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another Bitcoin faucet site on: July 05, 2012, 06:32:31 AM
Operation Fabulous ads are up, if anyone's interested in buying some ad space. Set the minimum bid to 0.02 to start.
14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin based advertising solutions? on: July 05, 2012, 06:14:02 AM
Thanks for the replies. My OF account was verified, so I'm going to see how that works out for now. Bitcoinadvertising.com looks pretty good, but doesn't appear to allow advertisers to bid directly on specific sites, which I'd prefer to do for now. I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future, though, if OF doesn't work out.
15  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Bitcoins Listing on: July 05, 2012, 03:08:25 AM

I filled out the captcha and then pressed the "Get some bitcoins!" button.
If some bitcoins were sent, where were they sent?
I was never asked to input a bitcoin address. The only input field I can
see in firefox is for the captcha.

It seems to output the BTC as a QR code, which I'm not entirely sure how to redeem.
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin based advertising solutions? on: July 05, 2012, 02:50:10 AM
Anyone know of a good advertising system that accepts/pays out in Bitcoin? I've signed up for Operation Fabulous, but I have no idea how well maintained it is. Still waiting for my site to be accepted as a publisher. There doesn't appear to be any documentation attached to it, and the last update was a month ago (announcing a change of ownership).
17  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: bitvisitor scam? on: July 05, 2012, 02:23:57 AM
I have four payments from them in my log, for the following amounts:

0.00112
0.0012
0.00128
0.00136
18  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: bitvisitor scam? on: July 05, 2012, 02:17:16 AM
I got a few payouts from them. It can take quite some time, depending on how their payout system works.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: July 04, 2012, 11:40:17 PM
Could I get a slightly early whitelist, please? They're discussing my site (and a potential bug with it) over in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=82450 and I'd like to be able to reply.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another Bitcoin faucet site on: July 04, 2012, 11:04:30 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84112.msg1008683#msg1008683 added this faucet to the faucet helper extension

Awesome, thanks. If your extension has automatic address insertion, I've added that feature to my site: http://oscry.com/?btca=codehere

Edit: A referral system is also a possibility for the future.
