But what about these XRPs, I heard they were pre-mined? Could that be an issue?

First I thought that I had found your address, but then I was thinking they: "Hey... who stores 1000 BTC with such an easy pwd?"  Wink

Yes it can go down. Do not spend money you can not afford to loose. In the longer run price might go up (I think it will), but you might be needing the money sooner then that (depending on how much you buy).

Decide how much you want to spend. Buy some now, buy some later. If price goes up, you made money. If price goes down, you did not buy at the top.  Smiley

Welcome baumberg!

Just don't turn into a scammer on us ok?   Wink

Are there many of them here?  Shocked

Had a quick look through of the forum. Ah, the intrigues and the drama. Long time since I was involved in a forum, but I guess some things never change. I can only imagine was happens when adding money to the mix. Anyway, no I am not here to scam anyone. Thanks for the heads-up! Smiley

I am here to learn more about it all. My goal, besides learning, is to begin trading bitcoins and making money out of the volatility and the expansionary phase that I think bitcoin is still in.

I am right now trading with friends and familys money and I want to diversify the portfolio to include bitcoins as well.

Long term plan is to open up the trading operation to people willing to put their money at risk under my care.

Hi,

I read about bitcoins a few years back and thought is sounded interesting, but did not have time to invest in it because I was spending time on learning the fundamentals of economy and trading.

I am reviving my interest in bitcoins because knowing a little more about the history of finance and the history of currencies, I can now appreciate btc on a whole new level.

I am working with Android as a software engineer for a cell-phone company. I trade currencies and stocks as a hobby.

I am managing some friends and family members money and I am here because I want to learn more and participate in the open/decentralized digital currency community. When I have learned some more, I will start to trade btc with their and my own money.

I have a similar interest background and motivation too Wink  I am also interested in mining for a very small profit (e.g. 2% daily) that we could reinvest, as compound interest.

Cool to get a response from a like minded person  Cool. I am running a extremely small-scale mining operation; mining litecoins. There's no point for me to even attempt btc mining and litecoins seemed like best alternative  Smiley
