To make it easier to see your BTC going in and out of your wallets, I have added a "View | Charts" menu option.

Are this functions only available for ios, or in a not official version? So far i only use the Win Version of Multibit.

Hello

I downloaded Bitcoin a few days ago and it works very well. Thanks to the developers. Bitcoin looks like that waht i searched for. A lightweight Bitcoin client. Easy to handle and fast.

I guess, my question was already answered here, but i didn't read all the 26 pages. Shame on me  Cry

Is it possible to "torify" the Bitcoin client? In the options i didn't found any proxy settings for that. But may be there is another way to realize this.

Thank you for the explanations. It is very helpful.

I just installed the lightweight client "Multibit". It looks, that it don't need to download all the blockchains. So far, i didn't notice any negative comments on this client.

After i received a small free amount from "Bitcoin Faucet", i think about to use this client.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Entire Bitcoin on a USB 3.0 Stick / Problem while downloading Blocks on: July 11, 2012, 04:23:52 AM
I did try to install Bitoin ( with -datadir parameter) in hidden truecrypt container on a USB 3.0 Stick.

While donwloading / updating the blocks the transmission was interrupted and i got two times the "22dbrunrecoveryexception" error message. After then, it was not possible to continue  at that point.

Now, i start the procedure at new, but installed bitcoin on the HDD. It looks, that the transmission runs much faster. After this is done, i plan to move the folder to the USB Stick.

Is it not recommend to run bitcoin on a USB Stick? Or what could be the the reason of the issue?

Another thing: I guess, the transmission get more slowly as progress comes closer to the end.

Also if i delete "%APPDATA%\Bitcoin\ " after i uninstalled bitcoin, the configuration i did before are still present after the new installation of bitcoin. This is what i not understand. Bitcoin should create a new configuration file with the default values. But it looks as bitcoin overtake the old configuration from somewhere.

Thank you John.

But, i don't understand, how the bitcoin client remember the configuration after a re-install of the client. I would expected that there are the default settings after a new installation.

Hello

I am just start to do my first experiences with bitcoin.

After i reinstalled the Bitcoin client (and delete the bitcoin folder in the user/roaming directory) the settings i did after the first installation - like activate of the proxy - are still present. It looks, that the bitcoin client save somewhere its settings. I expected that the settings i did change are reseted after an new install.

I would like to understand it better.

11  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Wo legt der Bitcoin Client seine Einstellungen ab? on: July 10, 2012, 04:00:43 AM
Guten Tag
