1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network on: September 30, 2019, 02:51:07 AM
Omg people still holding this stuff? How long has it been? 5 years or something? Wow this is amazing. If you guys are still not dead then i think i should keep my shitcoin bags.

And i was worried that my holdings were shit, but seeing this now. Jeezzz there are a total of 2837 cryptos on coinmarketcap and this is listed 2149th Oh my fucckking god.
Welcome to the long game.
Well, If CMC would give us a proper marketcap listing, we would be on page 2 or 3. We did send them all the information (list of wallets, wallet explorer, exchanges, token distribution etc. etc.) like 5 times but they always complained about some unreasonable things that were quite confusing. But really, they are not all that important.

What is important is that the tech seems to work out, devs are coding and all of them are the real deal.

Things for sure have started to accelerate. Check out the the github: https://github.com/IDNI and also the interesting positions we offer: http://www.idni.org/careers/

Coding is too much work, he decided to go Madoff way, it seems.
How? Stuff is getting delivered and Ohad is quite active. He will post new videos once the time is right.

We messaged CMC with our markets on BCEX (https://www.bcex.ca/tradeall/agrs2btc) and Openledger (
https://openledger.io/market/AGRS_BTC ) but Coinmarketcap told us they need more volume or something along the line.

They could have at least added the markets and removed the inactive label which is clearly wrong.

Does anyone know what's causing the price spike?
Court prohibits any further sale of shares and assets by the Envion's malicious CEO and his small entourage.
Seems like the founding members (who seemed to have been scammed by him as well) had success in court for now.

Well, Agoras is being traded on Openledger (https://cryptofresh.com/a/OPEN.AGRS) which is not 100% as easy as classical exchanges. Also, our volume there is low and hence the market is not showing up on Coinmarketcap. This, in turn, leads to only few people getting exposure to the project which has been the state ever since our Bittrex market was put on standby.

The good thing is that Ohad is not by himself anymore and has created a team capable of delivering things. As a first step, the project is getting a proper website (which had been promised for years). It goes online in June and will make it easier for people to get a grasp of the capabilities of Tauchain. On the website, people can also see our roadmap and the team will no longer be faceless. Coupled with the now steady stream of updates on Github this will give us a much easier time when dealing with exchanges and other parties. Then it will not take long to be visible on CMC again and be back on the radar of many investors and get liquidity to our markets.

I think the whole situation will change anyway after the alpha version demonstrates the capabilities of Tauchain but first, we have to normalize the project a bit and get the basics right in order to create optimum leverage for the technology.

How is development and market positioning going?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HER]Herdius - A Decentralized Exchange Network For Crypto Assets on: May 18, 2018, 04:33:14 PM
There will be an airdrop and it will be organized in an innovative way to engage the community and avoid the usual drawbacks.

Ok, I admit I'm lost with Agoras. I have been looking to buy but cannot find anywhere that sells it? What am I missing? Thanks.
It's possible to buy on Openledger decentralized exchange, but the current markets there are rather shallow:
Here an overview: https://cryptofresh.com/a/OPEN.AGRS_BTS
And here the exchange: https://openledger.io

Very inactive thread for coin that's about to lose its market standing  Huh

Is anyone using mac version of omni core? For some reason my version (.3) has no tab for the exchange?
Go to Telegram if you want some action.
Also, I'm buying. Please contact me if you can sell 10k tokens or more.

Not new exchanger yet? 9th march is coming so the price will drop to 0 when Bittrex delists, isn't it?
No, it becomes harder to buy so it will command a higher price.  Grin
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: March 01, 2018, 04:41:18 PM
1. Is it correct that for each Maid transaction the user faces literally transaction cost of a whole BTC transaction since they chose to implement their placeholder token on Omni?
2. Is this true also for decentralized exchanges where one may trade MAIS token?

Code is dead for 2-3 years.
Don't think so.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: December 10, 2017, 03:10:29 AM
Where I can find Stratis masternode count last year? all time? Or per country? or is the Stratis mastenodes count just start on monday?
Also revard for stacking full node or masternode? How much percents..?
Masternodes only start on Monday. Before there were none.
Reward for Masternodes and the announced smaller nodes is not yet known and depends on the amount of business the nodes get. Also Stratis TumbleBit-Masternodes earn their reward in Bitcoin.

Normal staking reward for everybody without a special node is 1% per year and everyone can stake. However, for very small amounts it could take quite long to get an additional Stratis simply because if you have 100 Strat you would have to stake all year to get 1 extra Stratis and you wouldn't know when it appears.

Why stake reward is little? half of ark  Huh
IMHO they thought they were smart giving very little stake reward and inflation.
However, moderate inflation is actually a neutral effect in proof of stake systems, since all stakers/investors get the coins and nobody is diluted. Even more, if staking reward is significant enough, it actively encourages holding and the best holders's stakes are increasing, so people who don't dump become more and more prevalent. With 1% annualy, the holding reward is way too insignificant for most to seriously consider. I think the sweet spot is around 4-10% as is shown by the most successful POS coins.

I think the Masternodes (big and small) will bring some meat on the table with regard to that.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/agoras-tokens/#charts

The tokens that were withheld will be used to fund some of the great projects of Agoras once Tau is released.
These tokens will only be sold at much higher valuations after the general public got a taste of Tau chain.

The only people that wll be having one of those 20 masternodes are the developers and a few of their friends.
If you have 250k Strat you're good to go. Team members are not going to run any nodes.
