1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera] Your next mining dashboard is here. on: May 30, 2014, 01:29:33 AM
I would love it if you added support for the new generation of GAW miners.  The current stuff that's shipping for mining is not going so well and I *love* minera for my gridseed blades, and I think it'd be easy to add their custom CG miner, detect what's attached and run those miners, as well as the gridseed blades.  Check it out in their topic. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=529093

So I got 4 Falcons, should I get 4 Pi's?  I only got 1 in the mail today....

All of this flame crap is just that, crap.  How easy would it be for anyone to post that, not just GAW_CEO?  Anyone could do that to frame him, even you reactor.  So, just stop.  Just stop.  Wait a few more days and you'll see your miner.  Or not.  It will work or it won't work.  Then you can yell and scream and be crazy then.  Until then, please stop.  It's just not useful.  I've got one of the Gridseed blades from GAW, and it works great.  I've got a few of the Falcon's on order, and I'm sure they'll work fine.  Or they won't.  Until you get the device you've ordered, get the software that comes with it, and messed with it, or not, please, SHUT UP.  You can fuss with the software all you want then.

Can you plug in multiple devices into a zenminer?  I've got 4 falcons coming and wondered if I had to use 4 zenminers or just 1 via a powered USB hub.
5  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 4.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: August 17, 2012, 05:28:18 PM
I almost wonder if pay should remove the withdrawal queue from view.  People are speculating on it, which causes threads like this one to grow out of control.  "Oh no!  ##### BTC are scheduled for withdrawal!  Is this the run!??!"  Give me a break.  It's all about risk.  If you haven't figured that out yet, then get out.

6  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 4.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: August 17, 2012, 12:15:16 PM
I imagine some of that is the fact that the price is going crazy again.  It's almost up to $15 from $11 earlier this week.  Looks like we're going to have another up and down peak to me... just a question of how high.
7  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: August 15, 2012, 01:03:57 PM
While I agree that 7% wasn't sustainable, giving his larger passthru's the option of more interest for only withdrawing once a week would give him stability, and let people keep their higher return.  It looks like his problem was stability, if bitcoinmax can offer that, why not keep it at the current rate?  Deposits at bitcoinmax would skyrocket.

Not nessecariy... I prefer the ability to get at my coins.  Iwoulld almost certainly withdraw if that change were made.

I can see this as well.  What if the price of coins fell through the floor, etc?  So, I guess I would say that "some" would want that for the interest/greed position.  Others would want more liquidity, such as you suggest.  I'm on the fence, but 4.9% is pretty good too.

Was your's re-invested or sent?  I think mine wasn't credited to my balance it doesn't look like, but I see how much for next week already...

I'm with you.  I'm kind of in the camp of "why do you give a shit?"  It's not your money, you've said your piece like 100 times.  Move on.  I know you want to "protect the newbies" but really, if people send their own money, it's on their own head.  Plain and simple, just like any investment, if you don't do the research, don't complain.  Pirate has been up front, there are no guarantee's.

bitcoinmax doesn't pay out until 2100 UTC.  So, he hasn't paid out yet.
13  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 12, 2012, 08:59:24 PM

Just pull the principal after ~11 weeks and let the rest ride. Then there's no more risk.

Well, I don't know if I'd have any hair left after 11 weeks.  With everything that's said on this thread, you'd think that BS&T is going to go down every day.  11 weeks would probably give me like 10 ulcers!  But really, to double to 30k BTC would be nice...

So what I'm gathering from this thread, I should not have sent 15k worth of BTC to pirate?  Doh!

Speaking of donation...

It's interesting, it appears to me that people are more willing to donate BTC than actual money in some instances.  Perhaps it's because BTC feels less real?  Or perhaps it's just easier?  I dunno.  Sending 5 BTC to someone, say an app developer, seems easier and less actual money than sending the actual cash.  Anyone else see it that way?

I hear pirate paid out, are we all good here now?

Got it!

Here's a question, if you don't get paid out until after 2130 and then distro to us, will we get interest on our deposit + last weeks interest (if we reinvest) or will we only get interest on our reinvestment when it's actually distributed? (ie, 168 hours of current deposit plus 167 hours for the interest)

Does that make sense?

Patiently awaiting the payout...
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you had time machine, would you go back and kill Hitler or buy bitcoins? on: July 23, 2012, 12:14:23 AM
I guess it really depends on the kind of person you are.  Would I have loved to get in on bitcoins when they were like $0.0000002 per coin? YES!  Buy 10,000 coins for $2?  Sure!  Sell 10,000 coins for 200,000?  HECK YEAH!  But, killing hitler?  Changes the world.  Literally.  Gotta do it.  Makes you wonder what the world would be like without the holocaust.
