In the past 24 hours or so, cgminer seems to periodically tell me there's issues with mine3 not providing enough work. My hashrate reported on the website dropped by a few hundred which made me look into it.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with mine3 or mine2 today? Or is it just me?

Thats cool yea i got the new dns also i just recently switched full time to btcguild i get better payputs here then abc even tho they pay higher per share but btcguild my hash stays higher and peaks much higher then it ever did at abc and you guys dont charge anything to cashout like they do.
I'm an ABC miner that just recently switched full time to BTC Guild as well. So far, I like BTC Guild better and my miners aren't dealing with connection issues/work distribution issues I was having over at ABC. I'll 2nd that my hash rate is reported higher and peaks higher here compared to ABC as well. It also read higher over at EMC while I was there for a short stint.

Are you mining PPS or DGM, NorCal? On another note, I think I finally beat the DGM bug into submission... I am running an isolated test server with a couple million shares over night to see what happens and if the numbers jive. If they do, we are on our way! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I am pleased. For now, PPS. I've been on a PPS system since I've started mining in general. Haven't made the plunge to try DGM yet. My mhash per worker on PPS is yo-yo-ing all over the place. I'm just chalking it up to your recent work with pool improvements, hopefully.

Dunno about the rest of you guys, but I just checked my EMC account and it looks like I got at least some credit for the shares I've been putting in. My confirmed BTC seems a little low for the time I've been on EMC, but it does look like things are getting reconciled. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Estimated reward still shows 0 though. We'll see what happens in the next day or so!

Tons of problems today with "pool not providing work fast enough" ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Sorry about that JWU42. Tomorrow we'll be rolling out the first in a series of patches that will alleviate your issue. Whenever you guys roll out patches/fixes/features, do we have to restart our clients to take advantage of them? Or is that not necessary?

Rather than asking for a spoon feeding, you should try to do your own research like the rest of us have done. Here's a starting point, and then there is the SEARCH function, not just here, but also the entire internet! https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

The past week the invalid rate has been rising a bit, because of the increased network speed. Invalid shares occur each time right after a block has been reported, normally every 10 minutes. They even out to a certain percentage of your hashrate. Since blocks were reported more often recently, invalids have been at a higher percentage too.
We've also been playing around with server improvements that required some restarts, which may have also slightly added to your invalid rates.
Restart your miners to take full advantage of the improvements!
Thanks for the info! I'm hoping things smooth out for me by mid-week. Overall, mining on ABC has been great though!

Is anyone else having worker connection issues? I keep having intermittent connection issues causing my invalids to shoot up. Just wondering if it's me?
I did not have those issues last night when running about 5 hours Hmm, I'm even getting reports of "disconnect from server" from Phoenix 2.0 from as soon as 10 minutes ago. Things have been chugging along fine for the past week though, maybe it's just something going on today. I know LTC mining is kinda a mess right now...

Hi! I do not want to spam here but, can my restrictions be revoked?
I swear that I will not troll... I just want to start chatting at the main Bitcoin forum.
2 posts do go... :-P
Tks! Memristor
And the "do" should be "to".

You can overclock past 920 with MSI Afterburner (or whatever the limit is you currently see). All you need to do is "unlock" MSI Afterburner to allow for overclocking/underclock past the predetermined limits.
- Go to the folder where Afterburner is installed. For Win7, I believe it's /Program Files (x86)/MSI Afterburner - Find the .CFG file and edit it with notepad or other text editor - Scroll to the bottom and find: "UnofficialOverclockingEULA =" - Change to (without quotations, no period at end of sentence): "UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it" - Find: "UnofficialOverclockingMode = 0" - Change to (without quotations): "UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1" - Save .CFG file and close - Restart Afterburner and you should now be able to change core and memory clock higher or lower than before.

Time to move out of GUIMiner. I recently graduated from GUIMiner to the other Windows tools where you can set more flags, or config files. With a little reading and skimming through the main threads for respective miners, it's pretty easy to get a good sense of how to get it working. There's always the Google search on things like "how to setup cgminer on win7", etc.
I went from GUIMiner to Phoenix 2.0, to CGMiner. I really liked CGMiner and wanted to make work because of the integrated ability to OC and control fan, but was having pool connection issues and was turning in a whole bunch of stale and invalid shares (0.8-0.9% over 24 hours). Now I'm back on Phoenix 2.0 doing all my overclocking with MSI Afterburner (OC limits unlocked via .cfg) and things are good. I'm squeezing more mhash out of my cards compared to GUIMiner, and my stale/invalid is starting to recover.

Purchased my first BTC, but got into mining very shortly after. Went from maybe 150 mhash/s to 1300 mhash/s in about a month, and in a week I'll be closer to 1600-1700 mhash/s.
Also dabbling in LTC as well!
