Interesting blog; received ZipZap email that my order has been executed to Bitstamp; Bitinstant site Track order shows the same.

Only problem is my money is NOT in Bitstamp.

I've tried everything except contacting this "Rachel" who apparently represents Bitinstant.  I cannot find her in the forum.  Can someone give me her forum name?

Moneygram support rtesponded immediately on the phone.  Confirmed payment was made to ZipZaP.  ZipZap support responded via email withinin hours that the problem was with Bitinstant.  Bitstamp responded via email that the problem was with Bitinstant.  Bitinstant support is not even available; site is down, email is down, no response from online support. And the worst thing is not even the whisper of an update.

You've got to be kidding.  I have PM'd everybody, tried EVERYTHING.  There is nobody home.  No update since 3/1?  At some point this goes from bad support to outright theft.  The lawyers are gathering and Bernie Madoff has a room waiting.............

A simple question for Yankee or Gareth but I think the reply should be visible on this forum:

On Monday, 3/1 around 9:00 EST, a number of Bitinstant deposits were lost, after which your web site suddenly became unavailable.  Was Bitinstant responsible and are you working on it?

Forwarding details of my failed Bitinstant transaction to Gareth and Yankee as requested.  ZipZap's prompt and professional support has already responded with:

"We are sorry for the delay in processing but you will need to contact BitInstant directly to get it resolved. ZipZap received payment confirmation and sent payment notification to BitInstant. Even though the BitInstant site is unavailable for new orders, they have assured us that payments are being processed."

Re most recent Bitinstant problems and Gareth's suggestion that they contact ZipZap:

I did and here is the prompt, professional reply from ZipZap on my transaction:

"Mar 02 07:03 (PST)

We are sorry for the delay in processing but you will need to contact BitInstant directly to get it resolved. ZipZap received payment confirmation and sent payment notification to BitInstant. Even though the BitInstant site is unavailable for new orders, they have assured us that payments are being processed."

BitInstant support is nonexistent.

My Bitinstant deposit made yesterday morning went through OK but never reached Bitstamp. Moneygram confirms the payment was made to ZipZap. BitInstant site suddenly went down shortly after and suddenly announced it would be down all weekend.  No reply from ZipZAap support but Bitinstant finally replied with the following:

"We currently are experiencing technical difficulties, as you can tell by our website. We also have low reserves on the exchanges. Our engineers are hard at work to resolve these problems and as soon as our reserves are replenished we will do a manual transfer. Rest assured your money is safe. Please allow for one business day. Have a great weekend!"

So........is ZipZap supposed to refund this?  Or am I waiting on Bitinstant?

Thanks.

Any update on the removal of "Bitcoin Address' as a receiver in Bitinstant?  It's been missing for days now..........
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: report : positive experience with get-bitcoin.com on: July 26, 2012, 12:07:59 PM

My first order with GetBitcoin went ok but slow.

My second order: after 3 weeks of no reply, I asked for status.  They said they never received a cashiers check for the order.  They asked me for the check serial number.  I gave it ti them.  They seemed to acknowledge receipt of the check.  That was 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting.  Any inquiries are met with a reply that "my supervisor has not signed off on it yet".  It's now been over a month.  I'll get my money back from the bank that issued the check but it's either outright fraud or incredibly screwed up.  DO NOT USE GETBITCOIN!!!!!!!
