1  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: error: {u'message': u'TX rejected', u'code': -22} [solved] on: September 09, 2013, 06:24:59 PM
I was having this same issue today.  I tried ALL the methods mentioned in this thread, and nothing worked.  I tried everything with Windows versions 1.8 and 1.8.1 on two different PC's and was starting to panic.

My most recent coins I received had 17 confirmations, but I prioritized another of my addresses that had 200+ confirmations and the bulk of my coins.  It still would not work!

I tried changing the amount to send, increasing the Tx fee, sending to another address, sending to one of my other Electrum wallet addresses...  No luck.

Then it hit me - what if I FREEZE the receiving address that has the new coins?

IT WORKED!
2  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 20% Off Discount - Limited Time Offer With My Voucher! on: August 14, 2013, 12:58:18 AM
ANY offers accepted  For ANY miners.

This expires in LESS THAN 2 DAYS.  If you wanted BFL hardware and haven't ordered, why not do this voucher deal with me?!

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BFGMiner and Scrypt mining -- help needed please on: August 07, 2013, 09:19:34 PM
I'm trying to get it to work too, and I generated a debug log file that looks very similar to yours.

I notice you have OpenCL 1.2, and I have OpenCL 1.1

I'll come back here to post my findings after I try to update my software.  Might take me a couple of days, I am trying to run non-stop right now with bitcoin mining, and I don't want to restart for things to take effect.

Edit:  I forgot to mention that I'm running WinXP SP3 and it did not originally have setx, so I had to download a copy of it, but I have correctly implemented it in my batch file before the bfgminer command+arguments... I just don't know if it's part of my problem yet or not.
4  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs 20% Off Discount - Limited Time Offer With My Voucher! on: July 28, 2013, 11:37:28 PM
I apologize for the bump, but I have updated my terms to accept at least one 50 GH/s miner for this incredible deal.

There are less than 20 days until my voucher expires.  I haven't seen anyone else with this same offer, and you will never see one again when it has expired.  HURRY!!!
5  Economy / Computer hardware / Butterfly Labs 20% Off Discount - Limited Time Offer With My Voucher! on: July 12, 2013, 01:31:19 AM
[I realize I'm still quite new here to this forum, but I am an active participant in the BFL forum.  Please, no negative replies, I am looking for only serious buyers.]

Hi, I'm known as BitMinersDaughter on the BFL forum.  I have a voucher code for 25% off my next order from Butterfly Labs.   This voucher is non-transferable, but I have decided to use this to "buy" some hardware and then "resell" it at 20% off the retail price.

But, here's the catch:  I don't have the Bitcoins in my wallet for a big purchase right now.

This deal will remain open for the duration of the voucher's life (it expires August 15th) or until I find a serious buyer that is in need of some hardware.

I would LOVE to help someone out with an order for multiple MiniRigs!  Wink  But if all you need is one Jalapeno or Single, I can help you out.
__________________________________________________________

Here's my plan that I've got in the works; nothing is definite yet, we will iron out the details together:

1. We agree upon a 3rd party or escrow service to use, and the fee for using an escrow.  The escrow fee shall be determined as a percentage of the remainder after the order has been paid.

2. Tell me what you would like me to order.  I will calculate the total cost (cost of gear minus 20% plus shipping) and if it is agreed upon, the deal may begin.

3. Send your BTC to our escrow.

4. I will place the order through my account, using my voucher.  I will add a new address - yours - for where the order shall be sent.  I can provide screen shots of every step I take in the ordering process, and will confirm again the correct information is being used.

5. I will then provide you and our 3rd party with the final order and payment information, and link to the BitPay website, where the order can be paid.

6. Escrow shall send BTC to the BitPay address for payment straight to BFL.  Once the transaction has been confirmed by BitPay and/or BFL, the escrow will send me the remainder of the BTC minus their fee.

Stipulations:  If the buyer wants to back out of the deal after I have used the voucher, the BTC held by the escrow shall be returned minus a 5% fee (see example below).
__________________________________________________________

Example:

Buyer wants a MiniRig (500 GH/s miner).  Subtotal price is $22,484.00.  20% off from that would be $17,987.20.  Standard shipping is $348.00.  Total would be $18,335.20 - This would be the amount sent to the escrow.

Escrow will confirm the BTC has been received, and I will submit the order with BFL, keeping all parties updated on the process with info and screen shots.

Actual cost of the MR with the 25% discount, plus shipping, would be:  $17,211.00 - This is the amount that the escrow will send to BitPay.    The remainder held by the escrow would now be $1,124.20.  Escrow would then send me this amount minus their fee, which will be a percentage of this remainder.

If the buyer should back out of the deal after I have created the order using the voucher, the escrow will refund the BTC to the buyer minus a 5% fee from the full total.

In this example, 5% of $18,335.20 is $916.76.  This remainder will be sent to me, minus the escrow's fee which will be a percentage of this remainder.
__________________________________________________________

Refund - BFL has listed that all sales are final, no refund shall be given after an order has been paid for in full.

Warranty - Warranty or any other assistance from Customer Service shall be the responsibility of the buyer to handle.  This order is not permanently tied in to my account, so if you have any issues with your miner, I am not the one responsible for contacting BFL on your behalf.  If, for any special reason I am needed to verify information with BFL that you are the owner of said hardware, I will gladly help you in any way I can.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!

My username on the BFL forum is:  BitMinersDaughter

If you have a different idea for how you'd like to conduct this transaction, please let me know!  I will work with you as best as I can.

The moderators, for unkown reasons, will not let me out of the newb forum so I can add myself to the wait list for the Jalapeno's I ordered last month.

I certainly hope BFL is legit.... they mentioned in one of their threads that they have caught up to all the backlogged emails, but that is totally untrue... I emailed them twice 2 months ago and still have gotten no reply.

Ok, so it was basically the same question I sent them, but worded differently.... So I was really expecting just one reply.  I know the answer to my question now, because it didn't take me long to find it here on the forums.

I'm a paying customer now.  Still have received no reply.  It's had me a little worried...

why can't I get out of here?

this restriction policy is trolling against me.  it backfired.  I'm a real person with real input.  Let me go submit my data for posterity's sake.  How many more bla bla bla posts must I post here before I can leave?

I'd be happy if I could just post in the specific threads for the niche I've settled into.

At this point(after 5 posts) you don't need to post any more bla bla bla bla posts, just read.
Can you read the forum for 1h30m more?

I've spent way more than 4 hours of reading... it was just never counted.
What you meant to say was... 1h30m more of active browsing.

I can stop at a page and spend a couple hours reading it, slowly, soaking in all the text, but the counter will stop after only a few minutes until I click another link to stay 'active'.

That's totally not mentioned in the policy.  But I've certainly mentioned it.  And now I've mentioned it again.  Maybe this will give other newbies something to read so they can understand more about why they feel cheated.

I've done all the reading I need.  And I'm still here.  Been here for 3 weeks.

I just want to get in, add my relevant input, and get out.
Then I want to come back once a week just to see if anyone has posted about new developments with the Butterfly Labs hardware.

Why force me to read a bunch of other nonsense I couldnt care less about?  I already know what I need to know.  Time to move on.  Let me out!  Please!
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Read this before you consider using MT. GOX. on: August 11, 2012, 01:43:39 AM
Pretty soon, it seems, all aspects of every day life will be affected in this same way.

Can't tell ya how many things I've encountered that are "verified" to work and then get nothing but runaround, errors, whatever.... even at the customer's expense.

Anything that involves money or tokens or any other bartering chips can potentially be scams; the Federal Reserve system is a 100% unconstitutional scam.

It all floats on the belief that money has value.

Anyways, thanks for the heads up about mt.gox, I'd thought about creating a special bank account for the sole purpose of using it with them, but now I definitely won't.

This is just more proof I need to avoid banks.  Smiley

Well, well, well...  I was right, nobody has whitelisted me yet.

All I want to do is post to this thread here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=89685.0

I've ordered 3 Jalapeno SC's.  I know enough about bitcoins, or else I wouldn't have dropped $450 into it.

Odd thing is, using the search terms "wait list bfl sc" will not find this thread.... it finds the wait list for another line of BFL products.  This is the second website this week for which I've found bugs in the search parameters / results.  It's not a coincidence either; the whole internet is infested with webmasters that can't properly code.

Now, please, can I be whitelisted so I can contribute my share of the waiting experience for my new hardware to arrive?

Thanks.

p.s.
I can only find that thread using Google's search or if I'm lucky to find the link in the forums while digging around.  Please fix the search!
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie restrictions on: August 01, 2012, 05:07:22 AM
it stopped counting again, so what is the point of "total time logged in" if it is completely innacurate?

I now see I'd have to surf here to keep it going, just doing any kind of activity...  sigh....
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is windows for dummies? on: August 01, 2012, 04:00:06 AM
heheh...

I guess the universe just guides me to the bugs in any and all software.

I've been known to cause electromagnetic interference from simply being in close proximity to computers or other electronic devices.  I've even made basic handheld calculators malfunction.

Sometimes when I'm feeling good, the opposite will happen and machines that are going crazy will calm down for me.

The last time I tried Ubuntu, it crashed while I was trying to just open and view all of the advanced settings in... whatever it was, don't remember now, but it was only a few minutes after a fresh install.  I was just trying to familiarize myself with the inner workings and it freaked out cause I looked up its skirt and it took a dump on me.

Why am I replying here, I dunno... I found some bugs in the forum while piddling around.  My login counter was frozen for a while until I made another post.

Being logged in "forever" failed once too.  I never closed this tab.  Crazy 1's and 0's getting lost in the ether.  Went to join my left socks.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie restrictions on: August 01, 2012, 03:35:39 AM
It finally started counting up after I made the previous post...

So, yeah.. it was stuck.  Broken.  I hate broken things.

I can find everything that is broken or coded wrong.

It even logged me out once after I'd logged in for "forever".  broke broke broke
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie restrictions on: August 01, 2012, 03:32:58 AM
I've been logged in for about 2 hours now and my time is still stuck at 16 minutes....

Broken maybe?

What's up?
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do with a few bitcoins on: August 01, 2012, 12:58:58 AM
Just don't lost it in those gambilng sites.
I've spent several hours testing the real probability
and those places cheat like crazy!

Micro exchanges sounds fun.

This was a 'spam' post to get my count up so I can post my one and only single contribution to this site in a thread for BFL orders.

I think I have 5 already, so this is just fluff.

I doubt this will work, as I'm sure 4 hours will pass and I'll have posted 5 things already before anyone reads this.

I only need to post to the "wait list" for BFL orders.  I am waiting for 3 Jalapeno 'coffee warmers'.

OSX, Windows, Linux (Ubuntu)...  It really doesn't matter, because I can crash any of them in a matter of minutes just doing "normal" stuff.  Perfect machines with fresh OEM installs too.  I'm a dream employee for beta testing anything.... but I'd be better suited to help design and build things, so they work right in the first place.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: August 01, 2012, 12:45:21 AM
Hi

I'm just someone waiting for BFL hardware.

There's no quick reply feature to the board...  bummer.

I have no interest in participating in any discussions except for the "wait list" thread for BFL preorders.  I only need to input my order info.  That's it.

But thanks to trolls, I can't do that until I let this browser tab stay open for 4 hours...   and post some useless comments.

Now I need to go make 4 'spam' posts just to bring the count to 5.  I call them spam because like I said, I HAVE NO INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING IN ANY DISCUSSIONS.

Stuff like this really brings the troll out in me.  Why make it so difficult for me to contribute some analytical data?  A single post.  That's all I needed.  You can bet I'll complain about this in my other 4 posts.

It's a waste of bandwidth, site traffic, server storage... you get the picture.

I hope nobody reads any of this, but if you've made it this far, WHY ARE YOU READING POSTS IN THIS THREAD?  Seriously, get back to what you came here to do.  And I'll do the same!  Wink
